Simply a wonderful stay at this beautiful and traditionally modeled hotel. Don't let the 2-star rating steer you away as it is a fantastic place to stay with great food and service in Bandipur. If you enjoy more rustic hotel stays and/or don't need all of the modern services that so many believe are essential on vacation, this is the perfect place for you.
A well designed renovation of an old house but.... so many problems, such low ceilings that bumping ones head happens regularly. the steps are uneven causing falls, no lighting at crucial points. but the most important thing is that it is way overpriced. One could get a better room for one tenth the price almost anywhere in town. No air conditionin...
Breakfast was the best during our stay in Nepal. The staff were friendly always willing to help.
We had a lovely stay in Himchuli. The family were very nice, welcoming and helpful and the guesthouse is ideally located in the lovely little town of Bandipur near the start of the walking trail to Ramkot. Lovely views of the Himalayas from the balcony also.
Staff assisted me with pharmacy need but room was too minimal
This is a very good value b&b/simple hotel with simply put the most impressive views I've ever experienced! The views from the hotel rooms stretches tens of kilometers and gives this place an almost surreal and magical quality. I recommend it highly for couples that want to find a relaxing retreat in the Nepalese mountains. The owner is a chatty and generous man from K...
the property location is good, staff is courteous and food is good. However the rooms need renovation. Furniture is very old, walls need painting with distemper, TV set is of 1980s, the ceiling needs repairs. However the property gives a very good view of sunset and Himalayan range.
We stayed here for two nights but wish we could stay longer! Meera and her husband were so kind and welcoming and made us food after our long bus journey. The views from the rooftop balcony are incredible too! We want to come back and help with the building project :)
The owner was nice but it seemed a little disorganized with very average breakfast offered
