"My friend and i booked this hotel to take our partners for a trip to Bangkok, my partner and i have stayed at many hotels through out Thailand. For the cost i would rate this experience one of the best. the staff were great and so helpful sharing in on laughs and conversations. the rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries, robes, sandals, and mini bar. Our party was so pleased with the breakfast we all rated it as definitely one of the best we've had for a long time. We all would love to come back here. "

"I chose this place for its location near my business contacts and reasonable room rates. Without any expectation, they turned out to be quite alright : convenient car park, clean, safe, equipped with all a business traveler wants (lights, WiFi, working desk, coffee pot, etc.). The 5 stars near here wouldn't work because traffics around here. Services? I didn't expect and they didn't surprise me either - a straightforward service."

"The best value-for-money hotel near Bangkok airport. (8-minutes) The room was clean and brand new furniture. The facilities are 5-star. The staffs were friendly and you will be greeted with refreshing welcome drinks! There are 2 great restaurants and bars. (You must try Tom Kha Ghai) The swimming pool was best during the sunset. Plus, the massage place was cheap, professional, and nicely decorated. I'll stay here whenever I landed in Bangkok."

"My wife and I stayed at the Amari Atrium Bangkok Hotel for 4 days. After being disappointed with a hotel we booked in Malaysia we were afraid that we might face the same sort of experience. But it was clear from the moment we got off the taxi that our stay at the Amari Atrium would be a pleasant one. As expected, it was. From the bell hop attending to your luggage, to a swift check in, for the people at the elevators helping us to find the right floor, we have not had a single day of bad experience. Even the service staff helped us understand the different between 'Sawadee krup' and 'Sawadee ka'! Can't be any more happier with our stay. Definitely a 5 star service! "

"Feel Good is tucked a short way down a very quiet (and safe) alley just off the main road into Bangkok. The whole place was super clean and the facilities were really good. Free tea and coffee, plus free bread, butter and jam for breakfast - all self service, including a microwave for cooking meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made every effort to make sure we were happy. The laundry service - whilst a little pricey at 150 baht - was very convenient and you get a relatively generous wash load which is also dried and left in a basket on our bed while we were out. You can get the number 79 bus straight here from the Southern Bus Terminal and walk into the main city in less than 30 minutes. The dorm room was super quiet with only 8 beds, and everybody was very respectful. Best hostel experience I’ve ever had. 4 stars for facilities only because the lovely shower rooms had nowhere to change without getting your clothes wet, and giant uncovered windows to the outside world felt a little exposed. Otherwise, very happy, thank you!"

"Great hotel and wonderful value for money.I arrived at 7 am and was given immediate check in.I booked a standard room and was impressed by room quality and size was not huge but very comfortable for two people.Bed was very comfortable and all facilities were excellent in room.I often stay at 5 star hotels in Bangkok and would not do so again when you can get a hotel like this for the price. It is excellent value and in a lovely quiet soi but close to all the action and BTS.This was first time I have booked via Agoda and will definetly book again as room and hotel descriptions were very accurate and everything worked smoothly. "I enjoyed the stay at the Continent. It clearly follows a successful formula for Bangkok of providing a sophisticated product that comes across as having all the frills. The staff we genuinely hospitable and very efficient and professional and were helpful throughout which is a standard for all the better hotels in Bangkok. Ftether than that I would say my experience of the staff was on a par with hotels that might be charging a rate of 50% more. It does not really have the size and scale to feel like a 5 star property, I think that it is better classed as a very good quality boutique 4-star hotel. The rooms like the above indicates were well thought out with sexy design elements and fairly good quality fittings and maintenance but uses a lot of clever design ideas to mask the fact that they are not in fact all that large hence my reluctance to agree that it is a 5-star property. That said it was a quality and enjoyable experience staying in the room. Certainly for the price the hotel delivered plenty of value and is an easy recommendation to friends and family who want to stay. -there also was not much sign of any of the sleaziness that can be evident in other hotels in Bangkok."

"A regular visitor to Thailand I stayed in the excellent Ambassador Hotel on Soi 11off Sukhumvit this time. I say excellent because the standard is exactly how a €40+ per night 4 star in Bangkok should be.The Ambassador is a big property with many amenities. The reception area is huge and the staff are friendly and efficient. My luggage was taken from the Taxi and appeared in my room within minutes of me entering my room. The initial impression you get when you walk in to the reception area is 5 star but the rooms put it firmly back in the second division. They are not bad but quite basic. Everything works and at this price you can't ask for more. The WiFi is free and strong but does require constant re-entering of passwords which is annoying at first but you get used to it. Room cleaning is efficient and flexible. Long low timber ceiling corridors give it a kind of old cruise liner feel. Restaurants, Bars, Massage studio, Gym, Tailoring shops, health spa and several coffee shops are among it's many features. And of course that great location close to everything. Some of the best restaurants in Bangkok are here. The very expensive but superb El Gaucho Steakhouse, one of 2 in the area, is right next door. For Mexican try the Coyote across the road. And round the corner the Firehouse serves the best burgers in Bangkok. An Aussie Bar also across the road serves up the traditional full breakfast. I would recommend the Ambassador as a budget hotel without hesitation. "
