Daegu hotels & accommodations

Fantastic location. Only a few minutes' walk from the main shopping area, restaurants and cafes and the Oriental Medicine Museum and market. We really liked the room design and décor. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a huge variety, including a good selection of fresh fruit, something which is often in short supply in other hotels in ...

We have stayed at this hotel many times. We love it. Sadly it was booked recently and we had to stay at another hotel in Daegu - it made us appreciate Sono even more. The staff is friendly and hard working. The rooms are cute, clean, and comfy. The hotel is near the metro and lots of places to eat and enjoy. We highly recommend!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in South Korea. Perfect location - situated right in shopping, restuarant area with subway a few minutes walk. Excellent facilities like cool Android phone chargers provided, lots of room, cool TV, etc. Highly recommended in Daegu. Pay bit more but very much worth it.

This is first time stay over at Daegu. The staff is very helpful and speak English well. The bed is comfortable and the room is fairly large. Everything is really clean and modern looking. The bathtub is big and great for a relaxing soak. This hotel is close to two different stations and many shopping areas.” Good for business as well as individual traveler

I visited this hotel second times. This time,my fight was morning. I asked call a taxi bell desk staff. He deal with my request in English and smoothly. Room was cleaned and very comfortable room. I stayed here for 2 weeks. Location wise - it is great. Less than 200 meters from the nearest train station; screen golf/baseball right next door; various restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Catholic church 400 meters away. Good neighborhood to jog around. Another plus - visiting baseball teams playing against the Daegu team stayed at the hotel while I was there (mid...

In Seoul we went to a guesthouse so it felt like heaven when we entered this hotel in Daegu. The rooms were really luxurious and had everything you needed: BIG TV, cozy beds, clean bathroom, airconditioning and even a PC! Daegu station is just 1 minute away from the hotel which is great because there isn't much around the hotel area. The staff of the hotel is r...

The host was so nice and kindly to treat. We were so appreciated to he who help us. You must will get the best trip in Korea!

No frills hotel, although large HD TV and large bathtub. Certainly a Korean love motel, but not seedy or dirty. Very friendly staff speaking English. Large room. Large bathroom. 5-minute walk from the Novotel and Daegu city center. Very cheap price for this location. Excellent little market, coffee shop, and Izakaya restaurant just through the parking area of the giant...

I booked this room for its price and it looked clean from online pictures. Upon arrival I was correct as both were as expected. The staff was friendly, it was clean, the price was below other options, it's directly linked to airport. My room looked out onto the runway where people were boarding for Jeju, Beijing or other destinations, but I never heard a plane or peopl...

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The location is pretty central. The rooms were very clean and bright. Enjoyed the functional Jacuzzi unlike in other places. Everyday the room was cleaned up without interrupting us. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. Made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend it a...

A Motel location is good, convenience store, mini market restaurant is just few walk step, few minute walk to bus station and Dongdaegu Station. Room is clean and spacious, my booking is Deluxe room, a massage chair is provided, is a very good and valuable motel, will stay here again when travel against to Daegu.

I was a solo traveler in Korea. I spent five nights at the Goodstay Apsan Business Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with fresh bedding and towels every day. Slippers and robes were also supplied. Water and additional beverages were complimentary in the in-room refrigerator every day. Additional water and beverages were available free of charge in the lobby. T...

Stayed at this hotel a long time ago, yet my memories are pretty good. Hotel was close by where I worked and it was clean. House keeping was done on time and I never had any issues with them. Room was big enough for 1 person, but I could not get their computer to function correctly with the TV. Overall, it was a good stay.

The staff was excellent! The room was nice, clean, and spacious. We were in Daegu for a triathlon and the location was convenient for our needs. The hotel is a bit difficult to find as it is tucked away on a small back street. Great for the price!

Great stay at Hotel Northtel. My girlfriend and I stayed in one of their "Special Rooms." The room was really well put together overall. It had a fun cocktail bar area that would have been made better if it had some cocktail bar basics (corkscrew, bottle opener, more cocktail glassware, etc). The bathtub jacuzzi was a nice touch; however, it did leak a little bit (not ...

I booked at this location because I wanted to stay at a hanok-style hotel, but for a good price. It was a little expensive for me, just because I was on my own, but if you're traveling with another person and can split the room cost I doubt you could find a better deal. The hotel has nicely upgraded modern facilities (like the bathroom and kitchen) while still feeling ...

Stayed here overnight November 2018, it was a last-minute booking. I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised by the location, decor, room amenities, and free breakfast. My stay was somewhat ironic in that the hotel location is right in the same building and floor of a language school I worked at ten years ago. Buffet breakfast was OK, however I would mak...

The hotel was easy to find, parking was underground and plentiful. Staff spoke English - bonus - and they were very helpful. Breakfast is Korean style; we had rice, soup, Vienna wieners, tomatoes, rolls, water, juice and coffee. Breakfast is not served on Sunday but we got a coupon for coffee and bread at A Twosome Place next door. Coffee is an Americano - if you ...

The Hanok & Spa was really difficult to find because actually, its also associated/under the same owner as "The Style" hostel. On naver maps they listed the Hanok & Spa as being in the same location as the style. I didn't know the 2 were associated, so I was walking around at night aimlessly. By chance I decided to go into the style and ask for directions--apparently C...

I was in Daegu for a conference and the location from The Style to the conference locations were 10-15 minutes walking. Access to public transportation was also very easy. The staff at The Style were very kind and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. 10/10 Staff friendliness/helpfulness!! The girl at the front desk was very welcoming, and the hostel offers a wide variety of city guides including food lists and course outlines. Facilities were well-managed and spotless in terms of cleanliness. I'll definitely be staying here the next time I visit Daegu!!!

The staff here are very friendly and eager to help you out whenever you have any problems. Though the place is somewhere around the quiet street, but it is very convenient and near to tourist destinations. Overall, the place is clean and comfortable. Would recommend this place if you're looking for a place to stay at Daegu!

First of all the place was really difficult to find and for some weird reason google map could not locate it, so I had to ask shop owners from around the place for the location. The sign for the guesthouse is really small (quiet easy to miss if you're not looking) and the guesthouse itself is on the 3rd floor of the building. I only stayed there for a night and from ...

I had a delightful stay at the Mama Guesthouse. The house is in a quiet neighborhood; the room, although a little tightly-packed with beds, was well-kept; and the hostess was very sweet. She speaks only a little English, but if she needs to she pulls out her smart phone and uses a translator. The bathroom facilities are adequate, though I couldn’t figure out how to wor...

In Dec 2016, I have stayed at Onna for 5 nights that was definitely a great deal!!! :))) I traveled alone and came from Hong Kong. I have been Korea for 4 times. I stayed and experienced almost 10 guesthouses in Korea before and I highly recommend Onna for anyone who travels in Daegu, no matter how long you stay, it's absolutely your choice! The location is 15 mins ...

The Good: The best thing about this guesthouse is that it's located in the center of downtown. You can walk to many of the main attractions. Also, it's on the Daegu Tourist map. The host is very friendly also speaks very decent English and can help you with attractions. The Bad: This place is a bit hard to find and Taxi's won't go down it's street. It's also on the ...

Located very conveniently near a metro stop, this typical Korean motel met all our needs - good shower, reasonable wifi, and a double/single bunk combination plus a pull-out bed to accommodate 3 of us. It was less seedy than some places and not too noisy. The gentleman who greeted us was friendly enough, though we didn't see any staff for the remaining 3 days of our st...

It was one of the best hotels that I have ever been too. Despite the location is pretty far away from the subway (probably about 20 mins walk if you are walking fast enough as its about 2km away from the station). Also, it looks kinda of sleazy at night (probably because the surroundings are all motels and nightclubs). If you are heading back way late at night, its bes...

This hotel feels a bit down on its luck, but it's still a clean, solid non-love motel option for Daegu. The location is excellent - - a short walk from the subway station, and I feel like we were a 6,000 won cab rode from anywhere we wanted to go. One peeve... The night view of Daegu from Apsan park is totally amazing! But remember to double check the time of the cable car or you'll have to walk down the mountain!
Nice helpful staff at the tourist info center at Daegu International Airport! She helped me a lot with my journey and saved a lot of my time figuring out transportation! We went to Dongwhasa (the biggest temple in Daegu) in Palgongsan (Palgong mountain), accessible from city, quiet temple with few tourists, 2500 entrance fee with a vegetarian lunch.
If you travel Daegu, you gotta stop by DongDung-Ro where youngsters gathers for dining and shopping at a time.
Daegu is a place where things are slightly cheaper from Busan and Seoul (the capital state). The clothings, the food, generally the stuffs are much cheaper and suprisingly much friendly.
A very crowded city, with lots of different kinds of shops for shopping, different kinds of restaurant for dining.
If you are making a special trip there just to shop, stay in seoul then. THe price difference in things are not big, with the transport time and cost, save the effort to travel to and fro.
It is another Korean city with not much characteristics. Weather can be very hot in summer. Subway connection is very limited to only part of city.
Daegu is a hot and humid city, so it's best to travel when the summer heat wave is not taking its toll on the people.
There is some really good shopping areas in the underground shopping district. The nice thing is that even if its raining you can still enjoy yourself.
We didn't get to see much of the city but we found it friendly to foreigners and easy to get around.
Daegu really isn't a city you want to visit. If you will live in Korea for a period of time, it's good because it's inexpensive.
The 2 nights there, we left hotel at 10am, return hotel at 4pm, as there is really not much sightseeing nothing to do,rather stay hotel and watch TV.
I didn't really go to a lot of the attraction during my stay in daegu as I planned most of my trip around food.
Interesting place to explore. Some historical places of interest. Understand that there is a beautiful mountain worth visiting during winter time.
