"One of the best... or maybe, the best! Compared to other capsule hotels I have stayed, this one has the biggest and widest capsule dimension making our sleep really comfortable. Amenities and toiletries were very well thought of. I specifically liked the pajamas! There was also a free shuttle bus to all Highland affiliate companies including Kawaguchiko Sta. The bus was always on time and the drivers were really polite. Location is perfect if you plan to visit the FujiQ Highland as it's just 2-3 mins walk from the main gate and the train station. However, small thing though- I experienced some electric sparks/ shocks on the control panel of my capsule (maybe it was because of the weather or friction). So maybe management shall look into it also. More power! "

"We had the best time here. The weather was picture perfect so the view of Fujisan was stunning from our balcony across the lake. We took unbelievable pics of Mt. Fuji across the lake (just like in the postcard). This is the best value on the lake with buffet breakfast & dinner included. Their shuttle picked us up & dropped us off at the bus station for free. Also included was free public Onsen from the 5th floor with spectacular Fujisan view! The staff was great. I left my wallet in the room safe & didn't realize it until we got back to Tokyo. I called back to the hotel & they found it. I doubled back on the next bus to Kawaguchiko bus station. When I got there, the visitors center representative called the hotel & the shuttle bus driver delivered it to me 10 minutes later at the bus terminal. I tried to give him a tip/reward but he wouldn't take it. This is the place to see Mt. Fuji in all it's splendor ! "

"Person in charge are heartening, can speak in English, shower room and washroom are separated, room is a clean tatami style which require own service to setup but it’s no big deal, overall a very decent experience for groups. Can see half of the Mt fuji from our room while whole mt fuji can be seen from outside the hostel. Only disadvantage is my room don’t hv private bathroom ensuited, however the person in charge said that they hv a option of rooms that comes with en-suite bathroom. Thank you K’s Mount Fuji backpackers hostel, definitely will choose again for next fujikawaguchiko trip. "

"I love everything about this hotel. Our aim was to spend 2 days at fuji-q highland. This is a great place for this as it is within walking distance to a family mart and a short taxi ride away to town/Lake Fujikawaguchiko for food(less than 1000yen). The room is also clean and comfortable. "

"It was one of the best stays in Japan for me. The staff was excellent in their service especially a staff named Hiro. The room is luxuriously spacious unlike Tokyo. When you go out from the hotel, a BEAUTIFUL view of Mt Fuji can be seen. Although there was no wifi in the rooms, the internet at the lobby sufficed. 10 to 15 mins walk from Kawaguchiko Station. Just get proper directions from the concierge at Kawaguchiko station. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"

"I stayed in building B 3rd floor Good - free breakfast - free shuttle (check website for schedule) to Train station, we used this a few times - big public bath is open and fun to try japanese culture - free wi-fi in room - everything is NEW (hotel only opened 2019/04), room isn't big but still spacious enough - you CAN see Mt. Fuji on the side road, behind the hotel Bad - front desk staff can barely speak English, to my surprise, not even a "shuttle" question. They do know to promote the Toyoko Inn Club card ($1500 JPY/year) LOL - checkout time of 10am is just too early in Japan, but they CAN store your luggage"

"The jaw dropping window views and surrounding scenery at this beautiful historic facility were made even better by the wonderful staff who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a pleasant experience during their stay. Management was always quick to greet the guests (who they care about enough to get to know) and help them find their way around the city with maps, suggestions, and easy directions. The rooms themselves are a wonderful experience of traditional culture with modern comfort. The bath house comes as promised with a phenomenal view of Mt. Fuji. (If you want to catch a good view, go early in the morning before the clouds set in.) After a rough day of travel, we arrived at the hotel to find that management had generously upgraded our room so that we could see the mountain and the lake from our bedroom windows. This is by far the best hotel that we stayed at in all of Japan and we will make it our goal to visit this location many more times in the coming years. "

"I arrived in Tokyo, rant a motorbike and spent 3 wonderful days in Mt. Fuji area. Mt. Fuji Station Hotel in the Fujiyoshida city, as the name suggested, located right next to Mt. Fuji station of Fujikyuko Line. For those who travel via japan railways, this is an convinient choice. (More info could be found via http://www.fujikyu-railway.jp/) The hotel provides parking space for its guests, so those who travel via car/motorbike should also love this place. The Fujiyoshida city lies at the base of Mount Fuji, located between two of the Fuji Five Lakes. This means easy access to the spectacular Mt. Fuji and its surrounding area. This is a standard Japanese-style hotel in a great location. Though the breakfast could only be described as “simple”, but I didn’t come to Mt. Fuji for “hotel with best breakfast in the world”. Highly recommended for everyone visiting Mt. Fuji area"

"One of my favorite parts of my entire Japan trip was walking around Lake Kawaguchiko and coming back to this cozy hotel with 4 different onsen available. I'm still dreaming about the open-air onsen and the view of Fuji from the indoor onsen. Our room (for 2 people) was not as small as I expected for a Small Double Room. Shower was quite small, but we did not end up using it since we showered after both of our onsen visits. Fun to try all the sample lotions, facial gels, lotions available at the clean showering facilities at each onsen. The staff was friendly with great English and helped recommend the best spots to hit during our short stay near Mt. Fuji."
