"I only review a place if it is awful or awesome. This place is awesome My family and I have been traveling for the past 17 mo. My wife and I have a 1 yr old and a 5 yr old. Staying in a hostel usually isnt an option. So, we were a bit nervous when we arrived. That nervousness was totally unfounded. When we arrived, Eric (who runs the front desk) was awesome. We had no clue how to approach the Galapagos islands and how to do it economically. He sat us down with a map of the islands, and explained what we could see and where we could see it. I expected him to try and push tours. But he didnt. Although they do sell some great tours, he also told us how to walk to places that were free and how to get to them. It was unexpected and appreciated. Now, you wont get the best of the island without a tour, but there are great things to see for free and all within walking distance of the hostel. Within a block of the hostel, you can swim with fur seals and see the famous iguanas. It's a great deal and highly recommended. Eric and crew go above and beyond to make sure your Galapagos trip will be unforgettable.... "

"We were very happy with our stay at Hospedaje Nathaly--I only regret that I don't speak more Spanish so I could have interacted more with the sweet hosts! it's a 7 minute walk to the pier area; not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area but a good bakery just 4 minutes away. Everything was very clean; there was a kitchenette upstairs for use, and they provided a 6 liter jug of drinking water that they refilled as necessary. They loaned us towels for one of our excursions, and called us taxis when we asked. We stay in the backroom, as they seemed concerned about the noise (it faces a little sports 'complex' where people play football, volleyball, etc) and they also offered ear plugs. The A/C worked great, as did the wifi. Very happy we stayed here!"
