A great experience, more than I expected, alisa staff are very enthusiastic and professional, they take care of their customers are very thoughtful, food on cruise so excellent, delicious, diverse, rich. My room has a large balcony with nice view of the sea. In the room there is a Jacuzzi bathtub, it is very comfortable when you soak in the cool water in summer heat, the rooms are tastefully designed, harmonious and cozy. . the room very clean, all facilities are brand new. They arrange an exciting journey, enough to make you feel the beauty of Halong, I really like the time to take kayaking around small moutain rock, I think this is the best time with me to visit Halong bay, thanks to professional and knowledgeable of tour guide, he is a good man and helpful. Alisa has a luxury car service, it’s Limousine dcar line, good one and best ever. I think alisa is the best 5 star cruise on Halong Bay. I highly recommend for every people…thanks Alisa so much…

The resort is big with indoor heated pool and outdoor pool. Suitable for family relaxing trip. The location is 10m drive from Sunworld Halong Park. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. And there will be a beach open in front of the hotel in a few months. Some of the equipments in the fitness center is broken. However, the hotel staff needs a lot more training. When I came near the reception desk nobody even greeted us. All 3 receptionist at the front desk seems like they just started working here not long ago. The whole check in process was awkward and and no conversation was made. After check in, I have to ask for them to show me to my room. When I made the booking I clearly stated that it was my birthday and I want to arrange something special for this weekend trip. When I come to the hotel nobody even said happy birthday. And when I came to the pastry corner to buy some cake, I wanted some candles for the celebration. I heard the staff talked to each other that somebody has candles but they turn to me and said we dont have candle today sorry. I love the landscape and the facility in the hotel but I expect a lot more from the staff of a 5 star hotel. They are helpful but not friendly and they dont even smile back when I smile as them. This would have been a great resort if not for the staff.

I've stayed at other Novotel hotels in Vietnam and this one is as good as the rest. Upon arrival, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the bell boy took out luggage to our room. First impression was everything at this hotel has the 4.5-5 stars feel to it. This place is definitely on par with western standards of a high end 5 star hotel. Since it was off season, we got a free upgrade to a room on a higher floor with the ocean view. Let me tell you, this room was phenomenon! The bathroom itself was probably as large as a room at a 3 star hotel. As for the rest of the room, the king bed was very comfortable, there's a balcony where you can just sit , relax, and gaze out at the ha long bay water. There's even a small lounging area with a mini couch and coffee table. Just below, you can see the swimming pool. We even had wifi internet issues, so they brought up a dedicated wifi router just for us to use! Very nice! Overall, this is probably one of the best hotels in ha long bay and I highly recommend it.

if you are going to ha long bay and want to really enjoy the experience this cruise is for you. from time we boarded the boat to the time we returned we were all treated like very special guests the food and accommodation was fantastic and all set within such a beautiful backdrop, you could not ask for anything more. all activities such as the kayaking and mystery cave tour were great. my wife felt she could not try the kayaking but when she did she was so excited that she do it in such a beautiful area, but if you can't they will take you around floating villages in other boats, so no one misses out. i cannot recommend this cruise highly enough.

Stayed in this hotel for many times. This is one of the biggest 5 star hotels in Ha Long, with a reasonable price, coming with good service and nice staff. The room is spacious and fully-equipped. Only a small thing that is not really fine is the air conditioner, it is still cold despite the fact that whatever do with the controller, but this is not really a problem to me. If you are looking for a place which is the most comfortable place for staying, you should choose this hotel.

The cruise was very comfortable and the food was nice. However, I noticed most of the cruise companies run similar itineraries. Hence, if money is a concern, a cheaper alternative can still cover the same items. However, the staff were really welcoming and the rooms were clean with beautiful views of Ha Long Bay during the cruise. One of the best ways to go around Ha Long Bay.

I spent a good solid 2 months researching and trying to find the best Ha Long Cruise for me. I was looking for reviews of great food on board, a cabin with a balcony (preferably with a bed facing out to the window), an itinerary with a mix of activities and some down time (more of a chill experience rather than a party boat). My ideal would have also been to see Bai Tu Long Bay but onboard experience had more of a priority for me. Overall, Alisa Premier definitely delivered and more. It definitely had a luxury feel to it and the staff were very friendly. I booked through Agoda but had assistance from Ms Nancy who helped me with payment and booking the luxury coach to Ha Long from Hanoi. She also came to thank me at the end of my trip which was super lovely!

All met our expectations except the announcement was not clear enough for us to understand detailed activities. Beside that, the on duty Manager (could not remember his name sorry) takes his responsibilities very seriously he, himself rode along on our boat to send us off to our car on land where the driver drives us to the Da Nang Airport and made sure our luggage was counted and safely transferred to the car. We appreciate their attention to details and every one works very hard to meet our requests and answer our questions. They are dedicated workers... The only downside was the Athena has many venues to advertise their cruise, each has its own ad and attractions, however, some may not agree with the company's polices. They did offer us free transfer from their location to the Airport as their complimentary. We are grateful for it.

We booked several rooms and travelled in a large group with children. Hotel is located on the quiet end of Ha Long Road, a couple kilometres to night market & "main street" (way overpriced and overrated), around 20 minutes walk or just catch a taxi for less than AUD$2. Hotel lobby is wonderfully massive with a welcoming fruit drink when you arrive at reception. A fruit basket, coffee/tea/chocolate and bottled water is complimentary in your room. Features: electronic key entry, remote control lighting/in-room radio & alarm clock, slippers, bathrobes, iron, hair dryer, huge comfortable bed with white linen and very clean bathroom with separate tub & shower... Superior King room is very spacious, plenty of room for our baby to share the bed and crawl around. There's a gym and sauna, outdoor pool and two restaurants on separate floors. We had buffet dinner at the hotel's Four Seasons Restaurant on ground floor - very decent selection of food & drinks, & buffet breakfast next day (included in booking fee) again good variety and restaurant staff were great. We spoke Vietnamese to staff so they were always helpful with our enquiries, unsure about their english so cannot comment. We suggest researching before booking tours via hotel (we were short on time so paid AUD$200 for a 4-hour private boat Ha Long Bay tour for our group, but the shifty crew ended up sneaking extra people on the upper deck). Hotel was happy to hold our luggage after check-out while we went on tour. Overall good service, clean & spacious rooms, good food, great value, relaxing atmosphere... would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel when our cruise on Ha Long Bay was cancelled due to a nearby typhoon and would recommend it only for that purpose. The hotel does not live up to its 4 star status: stains on the carpet, noisy corridors, no wifi in the room, pool and gym of poor standards. Breakfast does not offer much for Western travellers. We would recommend this hotel in an emergency.

Pros: Friendly stuff A nice and new boot and rooms. Foot was ok (Breakfast is not a breakfast, a bit bread , offered fried eggs but take super long, had only one pan) The older guide Brian was very nice and also good in guiding and managing the tours (the other stuff from the boat are very young and less experienced) Cons: Dinner - music was super loud, could not understand my partner - very uncomfortable When they serve the food they did not inform in advance what they will serve, suddenly the clear the table Super unsafe transfer from the tender boat to the cruise ( there is now plank) one guest fall between the gap of the two boat’s. The trip to the hospital cave is boring - useless..

This a rather new four star cruise. It's is much bigger than most of the cruises at ha long bay. I would highly recommend this cruise as the facilities are rather new and in good condition. The tour- Vietnam open tour has extremely caring tour guide name Mr lucky. He really is a very responsible tour guide whom took good care of us, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. He was explained many things on our way there. He basically was a super guide.

Ryan was so attentive and arranged special food request for us. If you booking with Agoda, make sure that kayak is included in booking. Also pick-drop from hanoi-Ha Long Bay you have to arrange by your own or request through message to cruise company. Trip ends exactly on 10:30 am. If you arrange pick up by 11 am that will be time saving as we were seating for almost 2hours waiting for our pickup in hotel lobby.

Amazing tour. Ha Long Bay is stunning. I’d definitely recommend the 3 day 2 night cruise as you will see so much more than only 1 night. We were a little apprehensive spending 3 days as we weren’t sure if it would be worth it but it was a great decision. Great hosts and very good food. This is also the best price option as almost all of the other cruises offer the same activities for a much higher price.

After three nights in Royal Lotus Hotel Ha Long, I have to admit that it is the best hotel which I have booked via Agoda. Royal Lotus Hotel Ha Long is a brand new hotel. Consequently, the facilities are very modern and good as a four star hotel. I also was impressed by the room design, cleanliness and pleasant helpful staffs as well. Without a doubt, if I come back to Ha Long, I will choose Royal Lotus Hotel Ha Long again.

This tour was great, the scenery is amazing and the tour allowed me to do all the things I wanted in Ha Long Bay. Tour guide Le and his team worked extra hard to make sure everything was perfect - the food especially is a highlight - wait until you see the sculptures they make - just incredible! The only thing I would have done differently is take a private transfer from Hanoi on the new road, I think it’s considerably shorter than the shuttle bus (although that is significantly cheaper). So perhaps weigh up what’s important to you there... I would definitely recommend Garden Bay tours (I was on garden Bay 2)

This is for sure the most beautiful boat I've seen in Ha Long Bay. Also the service is very good. All the boat staffs are very considerate,hospitable and passionate. Food is very delicious even better than many restaurant I tried in Hanoi. I enjoyed very much the time on boat. We had sunset party, we had the sunrise tai chi practice, we had kalaoke, we had kayaking, we had squid fishing...those were wonderful memories.

My friend and I stayed 2 nights and 3 days on Signature Royal cruise in Ha Long Bay. We fell inlove with the charming cabin, friendly staff and perfect location immediately. The service and experience was impeccable and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. We particularly would like to thank Panda, the cruise manager, for his professionalism, humor and friendliness as well as Liam, Nary and Tina for their fantastic service and hospitality.

Not sure what to expect cruising on a private charter for the first time, I now would recommend it to anyone and certainly Bhaya/Legend. We opted for the limousine transfer from Hanoi, which was a great start. Extremely comfortable, not rushed and punctual. The transfer through the cruise centre is slick and very professional. But, nothing could prepare us for the cruise itself. A brief trip to our cabin to reacquaint ourselves with the luggage we hadn't seen since the hotel and then a briefing from our Butler Mr Tien. He was genuinely interested in our likes and dislikes, from crowds to cuisines. He said from the outset that the better he knew about us, then the better he would make the experience. And how true I was. Our 5 course lunch was delicious, as were all the meals thereafter. The captain, by communicating with other vessels, guided the boat to every location minimising clashes with larger boats who were disgorging countless passengers. Fab Trip!

Impress by the hotel location althought is quite a steep driveway to the lobby. The service staff is well train but english is still not well verse and sometime some questions that we ask didn't come with a answer. The room is big and clean, bathroom up to standard. You can even see the sea view in the room although it come with a balcony, should be the best seaview in Ha Long Bay. The only weak point is the swimming Pool, too far away for the hotel, you need to walk pass the hotel lobby and down the slope stairs. It could be ideal if is within the hotel itself. Anyway no complain, will come back again with family.
