I stayed in 5 hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and this one was the most fabulous one in terms of decoration, service and overall facilities. Everything is done with love for details. Free afternoon tea is served from 15:00 - 17:00. And it's not only tea, but a whole selection of tasty cakes and kind of dim sum. Breakfast is tasty as well and far above average for a 4 star hotel. There is a rooftop terrace with bar, pool, sauna and steam room. The steam room has a big window direction west, making it very special at sunset. The pools are rather small but big enough for a cool down after a city trip. Staff is very attentive and professional. Especially Dais and Max at reception. And a very big thank you to Ali, the butler at the entrance taking care of everything even before you enter the hotel. I had to box a bicycle and Ali helped me with tools and whatever was needed to do the job... and it was great fun to do it with him together :-) Number one!

Special recognition to the staff at front desk and reception, Mr Khoa, Tin, Hung, and Khoa who have displayed outstanding customer service. Always courteous, helpful, going out of their way to address my requests. The hotel can improve by adding a gym with machines for walking and running, as it is difficult to exercise by walking in traffic dense and air pollution in Ho Chi Minh city.

Overall the stay was very satisfactory with the hotel offering a clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay whilst in Ho Chi Minh City. The location was good with easy access to the rest of the city. I was there on business and the free WiFi made my stay that much more enjoyable being able to keep on top of e-mails when travelling. The accommodation was bright and airy, well appointed and everything in good working order. The bed was super comfortable offering for a good nights sleep before attending to meetings the next day. Although, some loud music could be heard from the room facing the front of the hotel, whilst my colleague having a room facing the side/rear never hear the music. Only one criticism; there was no iron or ironing board in the room, which when called for on 3 separate occasions, wasn't available until early the next morning. The hotel could do with placing an iron and ironing board in the rooms. The restaurant could do with upgrading the selection/variety of food as, whilst being adequate, could be better, but ample and tasty nonetheless. Overall a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and certainly a hotel I will return to.

WOW, what a lucky find in Ho Chi Minh! We were so pleased to have discovered this boutique hotel while “surfing” websites for lodging options for our recent visit to Ho Chi Minh. It is truly an oasis of serenity and peace in the very busy city of Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is located in District 1, close to many areas of interest. The hotel is an architect’s dream that has become a reality! The hotel building is very well designed...there is a great restaurant and pool on the top of the building, 11th floor, with wonderful views of the skyline of HCM. The pool is a good size, allowing the opportunity to swim and/or plunge…such a wonderful option considering the heat and humidity levels. We throughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts that included both Vietnamese and European options. We also had a nice dinner at the restaurant...such a relief to stay in this oasis and not have to search for a restaurant. Our room had a very comfortable king bed with plenty of space to relax, read or watch cable stations. The bathroom was part of the room with a walkin shower and double sinks. Service was exceptional … the staff was caring, warm and professional. Everyone greeted you with a genuine smile and then an offer of help. On transportation, we recommend that you consider using "Grab" that allow you to experience driving on a scooter in traffic. The cost was very reasonable and quicker than using a car due to the traffic. My wife and I are retired, travel a lot and wish this high level of accommodations and service would be available for all of our trips. Definitely would give this hotel a 10+ star rating!!!

It was a great experience staying at the hotel as I receive excellent service. It was above my expectations as I thought since it is a 3 star hotel, the service won't be that good but I was very much surprise and happy that I chose Silverland Central as my hotel during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City. For Muslims, Silverland Central would be a great choice as outside the hotel, there's variety of Muslim Food Restaurants thus it is easy to find Halal foods. Other than that, there's many shops selling cloth that you can tailor and they can even make Malay Baju Kurung and it is ready for collection the next day. The hotel is also near to Ben Thanh Market where you can shop and bargain at good price. Also at night, there are night markets (Pasar Malam), near Ben Thanh Market which also sell cheap stuffs and you can bargain. For those who loves photography, just go to the rooftop bar at night time to take Long Exposure of Light Trail as the traffic are always busy. You'll be amazed at how awesome your long exposure would look like. (Simply brilliant). I would definitely stay at Silverland Central Hotel for my next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

This is one of the two 4-star hotels that have the best location in Ho Chi Minh City. You are a walking distance from all major touristic hot spots, shopping areas, restaurants, bars and the river. Do not get put off by the initial old-fashioned look of the interior. This is Vietnam; and the fixtures are not worn out, just a bit old-fashioned. They maintain it perfectly and everything is clean. What the hotel lacks in looks is compensated by very professional, helpful, and friendly staff. There is a nice swimming pool on the top floor, which is not Olympic size, but is very cleverly designed and has a great view of the city. Spotless clean. All in all -- very good value for money.

I loved the Fusion Suites Saigon and I'm so happy I discovered it after the horrible experience I had when I arrived at Cinnamon "Boutique Hotel" in Ho Chi Minh which was horrible and I knew I couldn't stay there. Anyway I was looking for other options and was lucky enough to come across Fusion Suites which was actually very close to Cinnamon, Before booking I walked over, I wanted to avoid another booking disaster, and I loved it! Super hip and trendy, not to mention one daily massage included per night. Breakfast was included which was actually quite gourmet. Fresh fruit and fresh fruit juices, a lovely buffet and a number of other menu options to choose from included in the rate, such as smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and cream cheese on a bagel, croque monsieur, pho, and a host of other delicacies. I loved it so much that rather than going for an overnight to Phu Quoc which I had intended, I decided to go to their resort in Nha Trang which also exceeded my expectations. Great value for money! The Suites are spacious and just absolutely lovely. I'd go back in a second!

upon checking-in and were asked to be seated in the lobby lounge area. please be careful of the step up to the lounge from the main lobby floor. a few moments later one of the staff came to us and explained all we needed to know and gave us some brochures covering places of interest around the city. a bellhop then took us to our room and told us everything we wanted to know, including how to connect to the free wifi. the room was small but sufficient space to be comfortable. the king size bed provided a good nights sleep for out entire stay. the shower bath combination came in handy after long days out and about. the area for breakfast buffet was a bit crowded but no problem if everyone is polite and careful. the food was good, offering asian and western style breakfast selection. on the 10th floor is a small swimming pool and snack area. also included is a small fitness center with a treadmill. the fourth floor is their spa. it has a great atmosphere that is very relaxing by itself but the swedish massage i got there was very refreshing and professional. many of the attractions were within walking distance from the hotel including re-unification palace, remembrance museum, city post office, and ben than market. in addition, there are many restaurants, coffee shops, spas, and shopping venues nearby. the staff were amazing and friendly. no request was ignored. the currency exchange offered by the hotel was in line with what is offered at the banks. upon checking out while waiting for our hotel limo to the airport one of the front desk staff came out to chat with my wife and i about our stay in their hotel. she asked questions and listened to our responses and suggestions. i felt like a vip and our opinion mattered. it is a refreshing change from staying in a hotel that caters to groups, conferences and weddings. i will gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers seeking a quality place to stay in ho chi minh city.

Everyone on the staff, from doormen to the reception area to the chef to the managers, were all so kind and accommodating. The rooms were as spacious as can be for Ho Chi Minh City, although the large beds took up a lot of space. And the air conditioning was perfect. The pool looked nice but I didn't get a chance to go for a swim. The restaurant and free breakfast was incredible every morning. And high view of the city through the large surrounding windows perfectly accompanied my morning meals. The hotel was so great that I booked there again as I passed through again a few days later. I will say that you should avoid getting a room on the floor right under the top floor, where the restaurant is. It gets a bit noisy in the morning from all the commotion of people heading up there for breakfast, not to mention all the service happening up there. But one quick call and they happily moved me to a much quieter, lower floor. Location felt safe and perfect. A short walk to everywhere.

The rooms were nice with studio layout and a beautiful city view. Breakfast had a decent variety but not really replinshed often. My gf lives in sgn and she was asked something in vn upon check-in she didn't appreciate, and night security when we arrived back was kinda the same in vn, however this does happen throughout vn.. we were given an upgrade which I guess made up for the bad experience. The doormen at night, Minh, is super friendly and was really helpful. He helped us check-in with tea, and assisted with our grab down the st. Thumbs up for Minh. Distance isn't the greatest, and traffic can get a little bad around the area. I would prob stay again, but would prob have to post a picture of my gf for staff.. Best value for your money in ho chi minh.

i booked a premium de-luxe room at this hotel as part of agoda's hot deal and i did not regret my decision. this 4-star hotel is strategically located in the posh area of ho chi minh city. as far as the facilities are concerned we have no complaints. rooms are big and spacious and beautifully decorated. the lobby is big and the swimming pool offers some privacy. the buffet breakfast at boulevard restaurant is excellent but worth mentioning is the warm and friendly service of all the restaurant staff especially the manager on duty. at only room for improvement is the front desk or reception staff other than miss anh. the lady on duty when we checked-in does not know how to smile. she is simply too cold and has no warm welcome to arriving guests. i have made my comments to the general manager on the form i found inside the room (i just hope he reads it).

We started our Vietnam trip in Ho Chi Minh at the bay hotel and were super satisfied! The only bad thing was that we got first a room where the bathroom was smelling bad, but we just could change to another room ! The staff is super friendly and one day we overslept the breakfast and even though it was already closed they prepared a breakfast for us. The hotel is also very clean and everything is new and we also enjoyed the rooftop pool ! The staff booked everything we asked. They are super organized

Our company will book this hotel for us everytime we come to Ho Chi Minh City. It just worth for the meney that we paid for. The hotel room is not very big, but it is just nice for single traveler. The room is clean, this is the most important reason why we are always coming back to this hotel. The beakfast is just nice, and the waitress is very friendly & helpful. If you are looking for a 3 star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, this hotel will be a good choice.

My stay was excellent and I am returning to Ho Chi Minh City on 10 July and have booked again. Downstairs is a wonderful hair salon, where a wash, magnificent head massage, facial and a blow dry cost about 10 AUD and Tony loves hair. ( I'm not usually fond of having my hair done but this is exceptional!) However, be aware that there are 3 other Alagon hotels which share the dining room but managed separately- extending my stay in one of the others, the standard was not as high.

I stayed at the Silverland Sakyo with my boyfriend and father at the beginning of a trip around Vietnam and this hotel was lovely. It was clean at all times and the rooms were beautiful. The pool and bar area on the roof were lovely to sit and relax in the afternoon breeze. All of the staff were immensely helpful and as we found throughout our stay in Vietnam, everyone is so friendly. We ate breakfast here everyday and it really was good - lots of choice and very fresh. We also had the complimentary afternoon tea on a couple of occasions during our stay. This was such a nice extra and was made even more enjoyable with traditional live music on Saturdays and Sundays. The area around the hotel is ideal for visitors to Ho Chi Minh - attractions were a short walk away and there were lots of well rated restaurants nearby. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here on future visits to Ho Chi Minh City - I very much recommend this hotel.

We arrived at 10h30 am and room was already available and we were charged $US25:00 for checking in before 14h00 . Lot of money for us Canadians especially that we told the clerk that we were leaving the hotel in four days at 06h00 in the morning and that they could charged again the same amount to another client arriving before checking time. That was our 5th hotel in Vietnam and we never encountered this problem before but we were told "hotel policy". As we left, we tried again to be refunded but at 05h50 in the morning we dealt with a night staff that did not cooperate with us again "hotel policy" was his answer. The final bill was difficult to understand as the amounts in Vietnamese did not match our invoices only the invoice number matched. Again, as we were leaving for the airport and that the employee had limited English speaking we had to pay the bill and move on. That was our last stop from Vietnam having visited Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Dalat and finally Ho chi minh and never encountered this problem in Vietnam. We left Ho chi minh on a sour note and flew to Siemp Reap. On a good note, the hotel is well located, very nice staff, good food, super nice room but very lousy policy for checking in. Travelers beware checking in before 14h00 it will cost you $US 25.00. Disappointed canadian traveller: Francine Mault

I booked the first night with Agoda. However, I realized the hotel is clean, nice, and excellent staff. The area is quiet and convenience location to shopping mall and Ben Thanh Market. So I decided to stay for one more week. Breakfast is a lot of Vietnamese traditional foods that you can have in this hotel. The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly and able to assist you as needed. I love "banh xeo". It is crunchy and delicious. The staff is outstanding service. They are English speaking. They assist everything that I have requested. Linh, Nha, and Thi were very helper and assisted me whenever I need such as shopping location, place to eat, and entertaiment etc. Tuan (Peter) is a great manager. He will do and help when I requested for service. I strongly recommended to stay at La Jolie Hotel. You will find out the best service compare to the other 3 stars hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Stayed here for 3 days/2 nights and had a comfortable experience. My room on the 6th floor overlooked the street. The pool and jacuzzi on the 10th floor had a wonderful view of Ho Chi Minh City especially at night. The staff at the bar is very accommodating and hospitable. There is a free buffet breakfast at the ground floor that serves western and Asian cuisine. Hotel is centrally located in the central district making it easy to walk around to the night market and the other landmarks. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. Best regards to Ms. Queenneth at the reception. She made sure my stay there was comfortable.

1. GREAT LOCATION, LOVELY HOTEL I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is very close to the walking street, river and many good shops and restaurants. The hotel is very well decorated with a unique style I have not seen elsewhere. I had a great night’s sleep here as the room and bed were very comfortable. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is with a wide variety of well-prepared dishes which I was not expecting in a hotel this affordable. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I will definitely stay here again on future visits to Ho Chi Minh City.

This is a good choice for American Business travelers. The front desk speak English well and will provide good suggestions for the surrounding area. Rooms are very clean and well maintained excellent value! Located in district 7 in Ho Chi Minh city. more affluent area, cleaner streets, traffic lights that work and followed! Only complaint would be the Cafe/restaurant in the lobby, food quality and service is poor, 5 minute walk to really good restaurants and mall.

The hotel was great. It's clean. The staff is exceptional. Breakfast is above average with a good variety. You need to ask specifically for the pho. You won't regret it! The location is within a 20 minute walk of EVERYTHING in Ho Chi Minh City. The wifi works well. There's 2 computers for anyone to use. They help make reservations. I only have 1 complaint. The bad: Agoda advertises them as having airport transfer. I sent a message to the hotel through Agoda asking for airport transfer, and no one was there waiting for us. As a result of that and our flight landing at 3am, we got scammed and completely ripped off for a ride to the hotel. The hotel did arrange for a taxi to return us to the airport when we left, and this time the price was quite reasonable.
