If you live in Guangdong, there’s actually no need to fly to Hainan or Southeast Asia. Just go to Huizhou! The Howard Johnson Sandalwood was fantastic. The staff is friendly and well trained. Only complaint is that you have to pay a lot of additional money to use the swimming pool and kids’ water play area.

Rooms are very nice, they are large and bed very comfortable. Dinner was excellent, bar service had some difficulty with our order, but it's a new hotel and they looked like they were still in training. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Very nice hotel, although just here for a quick business trip, could easily stay here for several days.

Nice large room with automatic curtain voice welcoming. Provided Multiple type of USB chargers for mobile phone. The most surprising me is the small washing machine. Good Location, there is a mall just beside the hotel.

This hotel is good and lovely. We like it so much cos the location is good and convenience to tourist hot spot. The hotel is very clean and comfortable plus all the staff are very polite and friendly, even the cleaner also very polite and nice. We sure will stay in this hotel again when we come back here again.

Located near the Huizhou city but have a country feel surrounded by the lake. The booming upscale residence took away some of the otherwise country scenery. Just I wonder why hotel staff have no one speak any English even should to have some sigh in English. I am Thai but I still need to understand more because I would like to go back again.

The overall is acceptable but staff's manner/customer interaction must be improved. Lack of facilities & breakfast was one of the worst serving for all hotels been so far.

Good stay. Resort beach. Hard to get there, but used taxi. Took over an hour from Huizhou. But probably can use bus if you can speak and read Chinese. Had a long beach where you can walk for an hour or more. Good trip.
