Where to stay in Khao Yai
Khao Yai hotels & accommodations

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in Thailand and Atta is absolutely one of the best. Many hotels in Thailand will claim a 4 or 5 star rating but most it’s not accurate. Here it’s very accurate. I can’t find anything bad to say about this hotel which is rare for me. I read a lot of reviews about bad breakfast here but they have obviously fixed that as our breakfast...

My husband and I "hid" in Botanica Khao Yai Resort for 3 days to unwind in silence. We didn't regret our choice of accommodation! The aesthetics of the resort is fantastic, so is the service by the staff. Although the breakfast buffet spread wasn't very huge, they made an effort to serve good food. Out of the 3 breakfasts we had there, Thai food was served only on our...

I’d recommend U Khao Yai to anyone thinking of staying in Khao Yai. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful; the shower even had seating! So lovely to return to after a long day out. Travelling as a family we appreciated the connecting rooms. The landscape and architecture was so lovely that we went out to the balcony even though it was cold out. Cute h...

We enjoyed a stay with Patravana Resort Khao Yai in early September 2017. Our stay was a pleasure, as staff appeared very helpful, polite and eager to ensure that our stay was a good one. The resort is a bit away from major roads and Khao Yai sights, so it is an advantage to have own car or other flexible means of transportation. However, the location means that you d...

2 group couple of us went Khao Yai for honeymoon trip and we have choosen Thames Valley as 1 of our hotel to over the night. With other comparison, we wouldnt denied to say that Thames is the best hotel we stay ever in Khao Yai, providing it's environment, hospitality service and etc. The price is bit high than usual hotel but i can guarantee you, it will be worth for...

Stayed for the first night in Khao Yai, didn't regret a single bit, my hubby & I were greeted warmly by the staffs once we alighted from the car. The check-in process was a breeze and they had a buggy to escort us to our room with our baggage. The room was clean and brightly lit, one thing I have to say, the bed was AWESOME, softness was just nice and it gave me a grea...

We enjoyed staying in Toscana a lot! It was like Italian town so nice and beautiful. Staffs are very nice, the room is so clean, the view of the mountain was great! Everything in the hotel was Perfect. Me and my husband enjoyed it so much. I could say it’s #1 5stars hotel in Khao Yai. Definitely will be back!

Chose The Series Khao Yai after staying at several other resorts here previously. We stayed during off peak season it's the staff that made our experience exceptional The resort is small, with just 24 rooms so you never feel like just another number. A hand written note from the team welcomed us in our room and although we arrived after the afternoon tea had finished, ...

Let me just say I am very happy with my experience at the hotel with a small little thing that didn't ruin my trip but definitely added a note of bitterness to it. And it was the 2,000 Baht deposit that was NOT mentioned ANYWHERE (not in Agoda, not in the hotel's website or Facebook page) I was very disappointed about the not knowing part..... Took me by surprise to sa...

Nice position with beautiful view & many birds around. The food was good with different choices. Staffs have much better English than other places in Khao Yai. We stayed in Deluxe room but it was a bit noisy from the restaurant above in the early morning when the staffs start working.

Nice hotel in Khao Yai. Room is very wide. Pool in villa is adequate for relax but not for real swimming. Free internet in the room is big plus. Also all refreshment in room is free for this level of hotel. Nice and well trained staff. They have a good service and always try to help. There is a problem of air conditioner in the middle of the night. They came and help t...

hotel is very close to khao yai national park, but it has good play facilities for children, particularly a small water park. rooms were good sized and comfortable, although lighting for reading was a small problem. service was also excellent. overall, the best of the three places where we have stayed in khao yai.

We spent one night at this tented resort, as we were a bit uncertain due to some skeptical reviews. To sum up: it was a great experience, absolutely worth the money and the time. The resort has a very nice, very clean pool overlooking Khao Yai scenery (some reviews said there is no pool, which is wrong). There was absolutely no noise from the nearby road (another point...

I stayed at Hotel Together for a night and wish it was longer. It was really valued for money with breakfast included. Their breakfast spread was the best among all my stays in Khao Yai. They even have high chairs for children. We were greeted by friendly staff who was struggling to understand us in English, we stayed at level two and had to carry our luggage ourselves...

My girlfriend and myself were pleased with the services rendered to us during our 3D2N stay over at Limon Villa. Pui, the owner, made us feel very welcomed when we first checked in and continued to do so throughout the rest of the stay. The villa was lovely and made us feel at home. The breakfast had two options, Western and Thai styles, which had huge portions and tas...

I had never been here before, but I am delighted I chose Sir James for my short away trip to Khao Yai. I originally booked one night and when I was showed my room and saw the view from the balcony I immediately booked a second night. This is not a 5 star resort, but most importantly, they don't try to be one (unlike some others). They do what they do very well and prof...

During our 2 night stay here, my wife and I were treated to stunning vistas of rolling mountains and cypress trees. I think Pak Chong province near Khao Yai National Park has an italian theme to it because most new developments are Italian Themed. This hotel is no exception. Food at the hotel was excellent and most vegetables in the menu are grown in the resort so it i...

i have been to khao yai so often and I choose only 5 star hotel or resort only. i could say this resort is one of the top 3 resort in khao yai. the facilities in the villa is superb or may be the best in khao yai. the staff is very very friendly and willing to help you everything they could do. dont hesitate to choose.

I stayed one night at this hotel. The room was clean and nice. The location is very closed to Palio Khao Yai which is only 400 meters away and it is walkable of course. I did not expect much about breakfast since there are some reviews complaint about variety of the food but it was better than my expectation. There were enough choices to choose. Road to resort is bumpy and unlit, but not too far from the main tourist attraction. Room is clean and not many mosquitoes, but toilet bowl get choke occasionally. Breakfast is basic buffet type mainly Thailand cuisine, which is not bad (noodle soup is a must try item). Even at night, there is a restaurant to order food, but not many people dine there though (food is n...

Khao Yai attractions cover a large area, guests looking for adventure should consider hiring a driver. The hotel is located next to a newly built water theme park. There are also street food nearby. Great getaway for the family and for R&R after day trips to attractions around the Khao Yai area. The breakfast spread that came with the booking is good.

Our stay in Khao Yai was a short but memorable one because of this accommodation. Recommended by my sister, I'm so glad I took up the suggestion and stayed here too. I got a free upgrade to their best room to celebrate our anniversary. The room is so clean and spacious and beautiful, equipped with all the facilities you could possibly need in a room. I wouldn't even mi...

after we checked in, the resort itself made us change our plan for the rest of the day. we were happy to stay watching movie in the room(i connected my laptop with flat screen tv via vga), enjoyed the afternoon tea, and decided to have a dinner at japanese-italian restaurant in mutimaya. the restaurant is nice and has a romantic mountain view which might be a better th...

Absolutely fantastic resort! Hidden gem that's newly open for just 1 month. Highly recommended as the rooms and decor are beautiful, the bed is comfy and pool is really lovely. All is quite nice for me and my dear, the owner welcame us by themself amicably and suggested abt advancers what shld we have to do in this trip around Khao Yai even the pass way before the resort such as a scare us due to temple, but our thought were wrong that place is awesome before we reached through, beside road plant corn plus Toscana view so perfect! Cheap places to stay in Khao Yai

Arriving late at night, they gave me a bed in an empty room, so I can't say how things would be usually for when it's crowded, but the bed was comfy and the staff was very helpful. Two small things: they don't have towels - so bring your own and there is no reading light in the bed, only the bright room light, which might be annoying if there's more people staying.

Room is very clean, shower room either. Hostel is located close to train station and bus station. Mrs. Bow and Husband are really nice persons. They help me a lot. They also invited me (and the others) to join bbq in my last night, but unfortunately I couldn't join them. Mrs. Bow also gave me a tourist favorite destinations map in Khao Yai. It helps me a lot. I will ...

The place serve Bfast only, I m not good w codes/apps, thus is inconvenient for me to buy stuffs fr 7/11 which is a few km fr the place. Is suitable for those who self drive, plenty of of car parks. However the owner is helpful, she helped me to arrange to hourly private driver. And she can converse well in English.

My friend and I were on the way back from touring the ancient Khmer ruins that lie on the Thai-Cambodian border in Isaan. We planned to spend a night in Pakchong, visit a friend and have a half day in the Khao Yai National Park. The hotel was easy enough to find and was in a perfect location for us being near our friend's house and near the park. The view was great a...

The host is fluent in English, and he is very friendly person, you can ask him any advice about travelling in Khao Yai. I was surprised to see how clean and nice the room was for this cheap price unlike many other places for the same price where I ever stayed before. There is less than 10 minutes by vehicle to the Khao Yai park Northen gate, so you can start your trip ...

We stayed at Ruen Khao Yai during our visit to the national park. Pros: it's stunning with a lot of attention to details, very clean and well taken care of, and had the comfiest beds during our trip in Thailand. Cons: it is a little off the main road (we had our own car so it was no issue) and there aren't many restaurants nearby (but we arrived late and left early so ...

Everything was fine. Perfect location, in the night market and 8min from the train station. There is no breakfast but you can have tea, coffee and cereals. The owner is friendly and discrete, and speak an excellent english. I am sorry I left without telling goodbye! Thank you for the night!

Large beautifully maintained house. Central living area, 3 double and one triple bedrooms all en-suite. Large veranda. Full use of the kitchen. Note: it’s raised above the ground level and there there are stairs up to it. No ground level access. Our room had an electric shower which took the chill off the water. Each room has air on, the main living area fans. All ve...

The rooms were fairly simple but much nicer and more spacious than the modest room rates may have you expect. Although the lodge is right on a busy road, the rooms are in separate buildings in the back and are very quiet. The staff generally spoke enough English for easy communication, and they were all friendly and helpful. The best part was the tours. We did an e...

This is a beautiful, unspoiled and tranquil small resort located on a hilltop about 40 minutes away of the main entrance of Khao Yai park and about 3 hours driving from Bangkok. This is a place to relax, enjoy nature and have a great night sleep. The rooms are more that of a 4 star resort, they’re nicely decorated and especially the bed and matrass are superb. Due to i...

I started my trip from Bangkok (Mo Chit minivan station) to Pak Chong. It took around 3 hours to get to Pak Chong. Hotel review: 1. Location: The hotel is just exactly infront of Pak Chong bus station where my minivan arrived. Just across the street n keep looking a while, the hotel was found. The building is clean and okay. The Pak Chong night bazaar is next to...

Our main purpose during our visit to Pak Chong was to trek through Khao Yai National Park. It was our first time traveling and we learned a few things. Pak Chong does NOT offer much in terms of transportation. After being dropped at the bus station, we paid a random local man 200 THB to drive us 5 kilometers to our hotel, Relax At Home Boutique Hotel. If you do not ...

First we booked a tent according to the beautiful pictures they have on Agoda website with only B556 which seems a great deal. Only found there wasn’t any tent after 6.5hours of driving. Then they changed our accommodation to a room. They said the room is usually B2000, but they will give us a “discount” with B44. I had to bargain to make them give us B144 discount whi...

It's about 8km from Kao Yai Park entrance, and a few restaurants/shops within 5minute walk. The bulgalows are simple but clean, and usually quiet. There is a small but relaxing lawn with wooden tables to chill out or have a picnic. Staff dont speak any english but understand basic needs.

We had a pleasant stay at Rajpracha. The staff was very nice, though their English is not very good. But through simple dramatic English and hand motions and cell phone translation, they served us eagerly and with smiles. They drove us on several occasions to and from the resort when nearby. The room is very large. Bathroom and towels is typical low-end Asia hotel kind...

Location is quite rural but we have a driver with us so it's okay. Basic apartment but everything is in place like aircon, wifi, hot water and free breakfast bread and coffee /tea. Egg is at 10baht which is reasonable. But there wasn't any shop nearby and quiet. (Actually even if you stay at other hotel, is the same). Is a good experience.

This is a excellent place to stay in Khao Yai! Located at the heart of most attractions (we rented a car to drive around). Famous cafe and restaurants such as Midwinter Green, Thames valley, chocolate factory etc are all within around 10 to 20 mins drive. The room is clean and staff are friendly. This place is absolutely for nature lovers, the flora and fauna is so r...

It was a great location close to all the activity in Khao Yai but was fall enough away not to be in the crowd. The hotel is part of a hotel-condominium complex with more than enough parking. The room was well appointed and of high quality furniture. The bath/shower could not have been better. The breakfast, one had a choice of three set and were excellent. Oh yes...

if you are looking for a best hotel with great service and location, this is a best one in your choice. With the location beside by Kao Yai mountain, you can surely that this is one of the best place with great view(like you are in The Great Gasby movie) good air for your lung and cool climate even in the summer!!(15 degree on the morning) I really love it!!

Khun Tuey was very helpful both before reservation (lots of information provided) and on arrival. He also made sure we had a pleasant stay. The housekeepers are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for family or friends gathering/bonding as it gives you such space you won't find in any hotels. The house is huge, it looks like a hotel. Built an...

We had a really fun time at Villa Paradis, we are a group of family with 3 rooms. The staff kindly put us together in the same area. We also called in the last minute to add 2 extra beds, which they prepared for us. Breakfast was basic, we had to wait for quite a while before the food is served. Location is private, you will need a car as you do with all hotels in Khao...

I thought it was a resort but it is bed&breakfast. Anyway, we enjoyed staying like a home, very relax & cozy. It was so silent, no other guests as there are only 1 villa with 2 bedrooms and another room for 2 persons. What good is it is pet welcomed but they charged 500 Baht. However, as the landlord do everything by themselves, the cleanliness needs to be improved a b...

D Varee Charnvee (formerly Rancho Charnvee) is a really peacefull resort in a beautiful area close to the border of Khao Yai National park. The room was a little small, with just the beds and the toilet. Staff's English was very limited, but nonetheless they were always very courteous and smiley. Breakfast was slow and a little disappointing. But good thing was the villa is located next to the Chocolate Factory, which is one of the most recommended restaurant to visit in Khao Yai.

There is no problem to find the place with GPS but the resort staff didn’t tell us where is our unit and didn’t tell us no need to check in, how and where to get the unit keys. We realised that there are many different companies resorts at Marino. We went many rounds. So the driver called the resort, the staff doesn’t know how to speak Simple English. Our driver too...

Real reviews for hotels
First of all, there is no City of Khaoyai, nor a town, nor even a village !! It is an area, and a large one at that, adjoining the less up-market Amphur of Pak Chong.
Good for people who wanna stay away from the town for a couple days :) but still got some good food and good facilities
It is much quiet as compared to Bangkok. Chance to appreciate nature and move away from electronic gadgets.
KY is a very relaxing place to visit. I recommended Primo Piazza to be visit in the morning , can have tones of photos taken in there, must try visit the grape farms (vineyard) nearby if there's time.
A place to recommend to friends. Feeling peaceful, natural environment and nice place for photo shooting , side seeing and relaxing.
We went to the cave template it was a nice place to visit. All the food at various restaurants were good.
We when to visit sun flower but we have to paid for ticket , we travel with 3 years old kid and have to pay ticket for kid too it's unfair
Sadly, Khao Yai has become an upmarket get away for HiSo Thais. Have been many times but each time I go I find that access to areas has become more difficult because of new developments, motels, golf course etc.
The "city" is very small and most people go there for the National Park... so there isn't much to do.
Love this place, it is better to travel to this area during Thailand Winter time to enjoy the scenario.
Beautiful scenery of forests and mountains. Enjoyed the winery and vineyard tour but the quality of the wine was uninspiring.
