"The room was comfortable and clean. I loved the location the most as it was really close to the start point to hike up to Machu Picchu from the town. It is still close enough to the restaurants and shops nearby, and also the tourist center and bus station. It was easy to find from the train station as well. Staff were helpful and gave good recommendations for restaurants and directions. I wish the Wi-Fi was better."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but clean and everything worked. This hotel like so many others in this jumping off spot to Machu Picchu is located adjacent to the busy train station. The trains don't run all night but it is busy during the day. We wanted to get to Machu Picchu early and were able to have a coffee and something to eat at 5:00 which was great. They allow you to leave your luggage with them while you visit the ruins which helps a lot."

"I chose this hotel because It was close to the Machu Picchu Train station, the bus station and it's right by the river, which was very soothing at the end of the day. It's clean, modern and has a high water pressure and hot water. However, it's definitely NOT value for money if you're looking for a bargain. NO coffee maker or tea kettle in the room. Bathroom is very small. NO bathrobes, no slippers. Very basic for what you pay. Breakfast was extremely basic--not what I would expect for the price you pay. Overall, the hotel served its purpose, but I felt I overpaid. Also, the sauna/steam room wasn't available when we were there. Another bummer for not having these facilities available during winter time."
