"The first place that I have been on holiday where the views are the same as the photos you see advertising the hotel. White sands, aqua blue seas and a real tropical island paradise. Of course Paradise has a price tag and it’s pretty hefty but then you must remember that living on an island is not cheap. Generation of electricity, desalination of water removal of waste by boat, hotel staff living on island as well etc all have to be paid for. We went bed and breakfast and so paid for evening meals at the restaurants at the hotel where you should allow GBP200 per night for a family of four. Think of it as eating in a top restaurant but located in the Maldives. Oddly enough, whilst the food is expensive the alocohol is relatively good value. USD 5 for a beer, USD 7 for a glass of wine and so on. Everything is priced in USD at the hotel and best to bring a big pile of cash to avoid additional credit card charges. The water sports are also quite expensive. It was USD 80 for 1 hour on the trimaran, USD 60 for 10 Mins on the towable inflatable and 55 USD each for a half day island hopping tour. Avoid the island hopping tour as it is just an excuse for the boat people to take you to a local island and gift shop where they try to sell you expensive souvenirs. Although I don’t think badly of anyone for trying to do this as life is tough for a local living in the Maldives and they have to make their way in life some how. I found the hotel staff friendly and helpful and the beaches and sea are second to none- superb. The accommodation is a little tired and needing maintenance. All in all an excellent holiday and worth the money we paid although expensive "

"i was checked in at the 25th july (at the afternoon) and stayed for 3 night at this hotel. i only have 2 days full to explore maldives are thursday and friday, saturday on the 28th i left to the airport at 7.30. well anyway after checked in, i booked 2 packages, one day snorkeling + island hoping and one day tour to resort. first problem, there was one guy whos working at the hotel and he really unpolite, never smiles or just say hello and just ruin all my schedule, all the packages that i booked with him. he just gave me bad experiences while staying there. for my first trip to island hoping and snorkeling was messed up, he didnt call me in my room after im waiting (because this guy didnt know that my first day actually for snorkeling and island hoping but he brought me to the office for the resort, it because he nanager didnt tells him, so stupid communications. thats why we were so early, because he tought im going to the resort) and so after im lated for 45minutes. im in my room waiting and he didnt make a call and he blamed me and says i was slept (stupid) and after he sent me to join another snorkeling trip that only half day without island hoping and the bad thing they didnt give my money back from $45 full day to Half day that cost $25. so i have $20 in this hotel. well noted this is my first trip. and it was the time i just tried to be calm because it was my first day and my first time in maldives. okey now the second day that also my last day in maldive, after i booked a full day trip to the resort, the hotel sent me to another resort that i didnt booked and i get back to the hotel without any solutions from the hotel (the guy and his manager just doing nothing) they "dint care at all" with our situation and condition as a guest, i paid all the packaged but they didnt organized us well, they just take the money. they have zero responsibles of us, they only know just arguing or fights back with their stupid thoughts. and after all i asked my money back ($10"

"cheap price for an awesome four star hotel experience looking for the best but cheap accomodation with excellent service? this hotel is for you! Arena Beach Hotel. Tip 1. Book on Low Seasons to get half price deals. We even got upgraded to a Sea View Room! Just ask if they are available. Best eat all you can breakfast! Book a room with freew breakfast and you wont regret it. Tip 2. Who says going to Maldives is expensive? we have our Snorkeling, Turtle watching, Wale Watching, and Sandbar experience with Free Lunch for only $25. They have evening dinner by the beach for only $15 (eat all you can experience) unli pasta unli barbecue and so much more! Tip 3. Hotel transfers are only $50 two way (shared speedboat). When you land at the Male Airport there is a free call or free telephone to call anywhere in maldives as long as it is landline. it is located at the information assistance booth. Tip 4. there is nothing much to do in Hulhumale so i recommend to go directly in maafushi. maafushi is one of the nearest and cheapest island in maledives. outside arena beach hotel has a public beach where you can enjoy ur bikinis! and mingle with other tourists! questions? richangelo168 instagrm"

"First of all I’m a Solo Travel who went to Maldives even I’m aware that it is a Couples Paradise. I still pushed through with this trip because all I care is just to have a Good Island Experience especially in a group of islands in Maldives. + I found Malahini to have a Good Island Accommodation Deal compared to those Luxurious Islands. They have Speed Boat waiting for you when you arrive at the MLE Airport. The access from the arrivals to the boat was just across the arrival exit. - (though I waited for another guest for almost an hour which made me a bit pissed) but its ok. They welcome you in their Lobby with their Special drink with Cold Towel. You’ll have to pay separately for the Speedboat Going and Going back upon arrival . So just have it ready. The Staff are so Nice from Check in to Room Clerk, Baristas in Azul (their island bar) to their Waiters in the Maaga Restaurant. I didn’t even feel so alone at all. Beautiful small Island. I’ll come back for sure."

"Thanks for making our stay nothing less than AMAZING !! As soon as we got down from the boat, we were greeted warmly by Ibrahim, the guest relations manager at Narnia Maldives. The smile on his face made us feel so good. He guided us to the hotel, which is very close from the ferry point. As soon as we entered the hotel we were welcomed with refreshing drinks and fresh towels which was really needed after an hot afternoon boat ride. The rooms are beautiful, AC is the best part, superrrrr cool. The rooms are well-furnished, big, bathrooms are well lit with open shower, clean and spacious too. All this is always kept clean by the staff. Each day after the rooms were cleaned, we would find a new towel arrangement on our bed. Sometimes a swan, a dhoni, a flower. My wife used to just love the creativity. :-) The food is very good too, nice breakfast, good fish curry, I specially loved the coffee which was server 24 hours whenever we ordered and was offered free of cost. We enjoyed fishing trip and snorkelling trip with Ibrahim, Hassan, Suja who make sure they are always around during these trips, guiding us, clicking pictures with Go-Pro, making sure The overall staff is very friendly, always ready to answer all our questions. At evenings they played guitar, sang songs. It was really very good environment overall. Thanks Ibrahim, Arush, Suja, Hassan and all the others at Narnia for making our stay memorable. Thanks Salman for "always ready to serve" attitude, specially the coffee. I recommend everyone to experience Narnia, will definitely suggest to my friends and family. Would be the first place to stay whenever in Maldives."

"Special thanks to Joey, Rekha and Yasir from Grand Park Maldives. Joey is very patience in touring us around the hotel prior our check-in. We feel very welcome by her and her colleagues when we arrived at the hotel. We were surprised by Rekha's extra miles service. We missed the chance to see Dolphins swim on our Day2 when we go for our breakfast. So we arrived earlier on the next morning. But we still didn't get to see it despite staying there over an hour. However, after we left not long later, the Dolphins arrived. Rekha remembers our room number, and she called to inform us. She deserve to be complimented. As for Yasir, he also deserve to be complimented. We were having our dinner at the Resturant before we depart to the airport. He takes the initiative to help us keep track on the timing to ensure that we don't miss our ferry timing to the airport. We would definitely recommend Grand Park Maldives to our friends and family when they travel to Maldives!! "
