Nagarkot hotels & accommodations
Overall a very nice hotel, but a little pricy in comparison to other similar standard hotels elsewhere, maybe because of weekend stay. Its still the best hotel in Nagarkot though. Also, would've been better if the hot water shower was much hotter, as our stay was still within winter season (early Feb). Best part - staff were very friendly and attended to all our specif...
I stayed this hotel two night. Clean Room, Good service, Best view!! I don't know another hotel in Nagarkot, but I think this hotel is one of the best hotels in Nagarkot.
It was a rattling ride up to Nagarkot, and the rocky driveway to the hotel gave us pause. But once we got into our room, we were thrilled by the clear and vivid view of the Himalayas. This is why we came to Nepal: to be with the mountains. We arrived on a holiday (the Nepalese version of Deepavali), and the hotel was short-staffed, but the man who helped us was excell...
We had an amazing time in The Fort Resort. We just went for 1 night to enjoy the beautiful views of Himalaya in the end of our Nepal trip and we wanted to stay more. The hotel has a unique architecture (feels like you travel in time) and has the best location in Nagarkot, sited on the top of the hill, surrounded by beautiful gardens where you can just enjoy a cap of te...
This is our second time visit to the Hotel at the End of the Universe. The early morning view of the Mount Everest from the hotel lobby was awesome. Excellent location and cottages to hang out with friends. We enjoyed a lot. The cool breeze and the sound of sweetly swinging tree leaves was really peaceful. Last year the experience was good also. They renovated the hote...
You'll find Hotel Chautari after a winding and bumpy journey up the mountain from the Kathmandu valley. If you've not prepared for the infrastructure, or lack of it, it may come as a surprise. Nagarkot has been developed from a hilltop hamlet into a a series of hotels along the mountain pass, but there is little else. The hotel itself is lovely: fantastic location ...
Had a nice stay. One can stay there for the view from the hotel. Staffs are very friendly. There is no extension phone in the room which made us difficult to communicate. Food quality needs to be improved.
The owner of the "B&B Nagarkot" is definitely the kindest hotelowner I have ever met. He and his family made me feel welcome at all time of my stay. His sister offered me tea or coffee when I arrived and everyone was smiling all day. The room was clean and I was surprised that I even had a balcony. The toilet and the shower was very modern even if it smelled a bit, bu...
I initially booked a different date for my trip to Nagarkot. Mohan, the owner, is kind enough to allow me to change my booking. I only stayed here for 2d/1n but it was all worth the experience. They also arrange transport from/to airport. I did sunrise and the view was simply breathtaking. I walk from the tower back to the hotel and I enjoyed it a lot. Even the sunset ...
the garden was cozy and nice but the location was really something like soso. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the top to get the view of sunrise. The worst thing was that there was no hot water for shower! the warm water flow was definitely not enough for taking a shower, except that u want to catch a cough... The rooms get freezing during the night and u can bare...
We stayed all over NEPAL and have travelled extensively in Asia and elsewhere. This hotel was the most expensive we stayed at $41+tax. Hotel is located in a prime spot in Nagarkot with awesome Himalaya views (on the clear days!) -a 'mock-chalet' style affair catering for primarily (90-95%+) Japanese day tours. We got room 115 - huge with Western bathrom/hot water seati...
location is good, but not the best. need to book hotels earlier in busy season.
It was pouring down with rain when we arrived, but the staff lifted up our morale with a welcome cup of tea and an electric heater. The weather cleared over the night, and the stars were amazing. The sunrise was pure magic, with a fantastic view from our private balcony over the Himalaya chain. Breakfast was good although very slow. The trail path is close by, an easy ...
Excellent view, one of the best in that area. If you were to book, be sure to book either this or the Himalaya beside it, as they provide unblocked view of the sunrise. As for the rooms, those living in the city may not be able to get used to the room as it's very country style. Very simple room and toilet. The towels look dirty and so we used our own. Power blackout...
I went for a business trip to Kathmandu, had a night stay in Nagarkot at New Dragon Hotel. The Location of hotel is very fine, i.e. away from all the Hustle and Bustle. Hotel manager is good man and so his wifi password. Best thing is food, great food here. Highly recommended.
Wasn't expected as I booked from online, I would recomended you to see first before you booked. Why pay more for cheap service. Bad experience of me is Tv is not working condtion, not good welcome, reception is third grade, absence of hot water, towel is in bad condition, not outstanding view from my room .
The pillows were hard but the shower was the best I encountered in Nepal - really hot water and great water pressure. Make sure you get a room with a view, not facing the street. The place was good but nothing that stands out.
Friendly staff, big room with hot water shower and great views. Downstairs rooms can be a bit noisy if rooms above are full due to wooden floors. Otherwise a lovely peaceful area located out of town. Plenty of walking/ hiking tracks. Breakfast is adequate and restaurant/deck area is relaxing to enjoy views. Friendly staff who can arrange transport, treking etc. W...

Real reviews for hotels
Nagarkot is a small village, the people are lovely, the amenities are good, the views are terrific. There is a wide choice of accommodation from one star to five star, there are lots of options for eating, some hotels have spa options if you so wish.
Nagarkot is a great place for family or group picnic near the tower.Food is available locally as well.
Nothing much to do here. Spend for one night only and then decide to stay for couple more nights after.
A country area with fantastic views of the Himalyas and fresh air as well as possibility of short treks
There are not many activities besides walking/ hiking. In the city which is stretched along the road are several little shops to buy snackks and chilled soft drinks.
Nice view of the himalaya. Needs more infrastructure , good roads, good handicraft shops, street lights in town at night
Only good thing is can see the himalaya mountain. And of course the people there were very friendly.
The views on the view tower is so great. It takes about an hour to walk from the hotel to the view tower.
The best mountain view of himalaya which is not far from Kathmandu, only an hour drive away. The weather is nice.
Once you debark the bus you are met with a quaint valley village, lined with stores selling fruit and snacks.
On a clear day you can see the Amazing View of the Himalayas! Dont miss the sunrise or the sunset...
Most hotels are not in the village, which is located 20 minutes walk from most hotels. Hotels are mostly on a ridge with a view of the Himalayas
