The room is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. You can enjoy a 180-degree sea view from the balcony. The staff welcomed us with some fresh fruit. He is friendly though his English was not very good. The only thing to complain is... before our trip, we emailed the staff for recommendation about car rental near Namhae intercity bus terminal. He gave us a company name but when we arrived in Namhae, that company refused to rent us a car because we're not Korean. This surprised us and made it very difficult to travel within Namhae.

I wish I had stayed on Namhaedo for longer - it's a very special part of Korea with gorgeous scenery and fairly unspoilt culture. The pension itself is very nice, with its strongest feature being the very helpful owner Peter. The room itself was all good. Namhaedo doesn't have much in terms of restaurants so be prepared to either have your own food or travel reasonable distances to eat. It's not an easy place to find so make sure you have the phone number for the pension and full address details so that you can put it into your GPS or give Peter a call.

The most memorable stay we had in Korea and for the writer, all time best. Pension is located at the most perfect place with sea facing orientation and a mountain behind it where one can hike up to explore the nature and beauty. Owner is the most remarkable host we have encountered so far. Very fluent in English, very helpful, honest, considerate and sincere in meeting our needs and even gave us siund advice on transportation, meals and sight-seeing itinerary. In conclusion, we will definitely stay at the Pension again if we visited Namhae again. Its got the homely warmth and feeling, modern on the outside, traditional inside. Super Place to stay.

I stayed at the Pension while visiting the Namhae, and the room is fantastic for the price. The pension is very clean and modern on the inside, and the jacuzzi tub and balcony both offer sweeping and breathtaking views of the ocean. The owners were very helpful with directions and advice for sightseeing, and there is a bus stop just outside the pension for easy access back to the center of town. The breakfast in the morning offers a great variety and is delicious! I will definitely stay here if I come to Namhae again one day, this is one of the best pensions I've come across!

There is only 2 restaurant around the hotel and doesn't hav convenience shop. Me and my husband are not Korean, we couldnt drive but go around with Taxi for this Namhae trip. Ajumma of this hotel is so friendly and always call the Taxi for us. Taxi driver was friendly too. The room is clean and satisfied. Every morning we watched sunrise in the room (is really romantic for couple). Namhae is really a relaxing place.

This was our first time at a pension and I was pleasantly surprised. There are many pensions in Namhae and we passed many as we were driving to our location. This pension is located on top of a hill and so was a little less accessible than the others but because of this it was more isolated and private. There was a nice picnic bench outside of each pension. The manager was very nice and informative and even brought us extra blankets. There was free parking available. The only negative was that the pensions are close together so we could hear what was going on around us at night.

it was my first time in korea and it was particularly difficult for my friends and i to plan our route when we're unfamiliar with the place. we booked this hotel since the yeosu ones were fully filled, and namhae happened to be the next closest. on our first day, she brought us to a mart to buy all our necessities, then to a very nice bibimbap restaurant for dinner and made sure to instruct the owner to help us call for a cab once we're done. the very next morning, she cooked breakfast for us! the friendly owner did everything to help us get our way to the expo, helping us call and book a taxi to a ferry, getting our ferry tickets, and even planned for our way back! we were sincerely touched by her efforts for us. thank you for making our stay such a wonderful one!

The owner was very helpful and accommodating, she called taxis for us, and provided us with anything we needed. However, the location is far away from most attractions, and there's nothing around the hotel. The view from the room is of a landfill, and there's an abandoned waterpark nearby. Getting back to the hotel at night was very difficult. Would not stay here again simply because of the location.

The view from our Ocean Suite was beautiful! However, almost everything else was subpar. The room and overall facilities are old, broken, filthy, and everything is in need of massive renovations and maintenance. The staff are kind a friendly, but they are well understaffed when it comes to maintenance and running the hotel properly. This place was maybe a beautiful gem when it first opened, but now it’s worn out and well past it’s prime. It is sad because you can see great potential, but everything needs to be renovated or replaced. There is no easy walking path down to the beach besides along the narrow curvy road, no cafe or restaurants or much of anything at the place or nearby. The address for this location does not come up on Waze, Apple maps, or google maps, we used Naver Maps for proper directions. Although we loved our view, sadly we will not be returning.
