"The desk officer can communicate in simple English & very helpful. He up grade my Deluxe room to Deluxe suite. Thanks.(maybe he see that I brought along my 4years old son). The hotel interior & exterior very beautiful, unfortunately, lack of maintenance. Maybe because of Narathiwat is not a tourist center, so most of the customers are local. For me, paying at RM120++ is really value for money. (include 2 person breakfast). Can't complaint much. The pool size is average. They have LIFE SAVING training there. So, my husband & my son only can swim at certain area. But, is fine as I enjoying looking at the children learning the lesson. The room come with bathtub. My son enjoying himself very much. The room size also comfortable. Only thing that the curtain a bit dusty & old. They should replace a new one. I feel very safe in this hotel. The restaurant in the town name MANKORNTONG superb. Food taste good, good environment & price very reasonable. "

"This is my 3rd night which is an extension stay (My review was dated 4 Apr 2017). The nearest town is Narathiwat Town, about 20 minutes by car. This town is great for eating and shopping, and offers many attractions such as Buddha statues and temples, and is the point for further travels by bus or van to other major towns. I have stayed at several hotels in this town before but Banton Beach is still my number 1 choice. Unlike Narathiwat Town which is all about crowd and traffic, Banton Beach is purely nature with swaying coconut trees, fine beach, and clean fresh air. My favourite activity at Banton Beach is just sitting at the veranda at dawn reading my favourite book and sipping hot coffee, with the subtle sound of ocean waves in the background. Amazingly peaceful. As I am doing my reading, the sky slowly changes colour and the first rays of sunlight begin to appear. This is indeed a wonderful nature's therapy. As I was venturing through this small village, I came across a new development not far from this resort - a horse ranch with stables and horse trails. This is another thing to look forward to and I will check out this new attraction in my next visit. Throughout my stay, I have already made many friends with the villagers, who are the most friendly people I have come across in Thailand."
