Best hotels & accommodations in Nay Pyi Taw

Last month, I stayed just one night. I ate dinner too much because food was wonderful. That's why I got a stomachache. I went to a reception desk and asked they have a kind of tums or not. A manager Nyein Chan said they cannot give me any medicine if I didn't go to a hospital. Well, it was not that serious so I said it is ok then. I was walking around robby to feel b...

I was surprised to find out that I really liked Nay Pyi Taw, although it is an unusual city. Everything is very far from everything else, and for the most part you hardly see any people anywhere. The Park Royal Hotel, however, is a very nice place, super clean, great facilities and the nicest group of people working there. The pool, gym and sauna/steam area are all top...

All very well managed also a 2:00 am arrival is quick and room ready , good flexible breakfast also a la minute and cart .. Best Value for money Italy Cuisine in Nay Pyi Taw with Chef comes and talks with Guests for extra s.. Super Clean and good TV , Internet all inclusive. The Hotel Royal Ace is located south of Nay Phi Taw. It is a new hotel and just opened one month ago. Very nicely designed, clean and very good for conferences or business stay. The staff were excellent and most accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for business and conferences.

The hotel is sprawling, and for the most part, you won't encounter many other guests at the pool, tennis court, lake-side walking path, or even in the hallways or main restaurant. Nay Pyi Taw itself doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of nearby restaurants, so the hotel restaurant is your main bet. I personally had a few hits and misses there. The spa, however, is a h...

Empty hotel cuz of Nay Pyi Taw not the problem of hotel. Great staff, great breakfask. great pool just for me and my friend. even u order from hotel, its a little bit pricy but with good quanlity. we rent the semi motorbike for 10000 for 12 hours from the hotel. and didnt find any other motorbike rental shop. If u wanna book bus ticket from there. Be aware that the bus...

Very helpful and friendly staffs. New and large room. Easy to find location. But as Nay Pyi Taw is still not a crowded city, the hotels seem too big and distanced from place to place. Modern and peaceful city. People are nice. But taxi fare is too expensive.

We spent two nights there, it’s a good budget option for Naypyidaw (which will be the most expensive portion of your trip in Myanmar, expect to pay more for everything) Pros - Nice breakfast buffet, water boiler in the room to avoid using plastic bottles, we could rent a scooter (4000k an hour, yes, it’s expensive yes), friendly staff. Helped arrange bus / taxi for o...

Good things: The staff were friendly and honest. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. The mountain top view is beautiful. Bad things: So the hotel looked about equal distant to the ministries zone as the other hotels in north and south Nay Pyi Taw on the map. But it is actually really far up the mountain. Even with a driver, I felt like the hotel was too ...

I really recommend this hotel to others looking for a good place in Nay Pyi Taw. The staff are very accommodating. They allowed us to have an early check-in. They can also arrange a car for you to go sightseeing in Nay Pyi Taw. The place is really good if you want to relax.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was at my own private residence. Entire staff had smiles on their faces and were happy to answer any questions, assist in any planning, and really made this stay memorable even if it was for business trip. Great breakfast with a really friendly staff who aims to please you the moment you walk in. The restaurant staff manager i...

However, only able to stay as it was heavily discounted. It was probably built and designed for upscale travellers. Sadly, the capital has an over supply of rooms and hotels seem hardpressed to fill their rooms. Overall, impressive hotel in terms of size, facilities and design. Modern comforts are cleverly incorporated while retaining Burmese traditional design element...

I have the good experience with the excellent service of this hotel, the hotel staffs bring me the service that more than my expectation. The manager hotel is so nice to me, he help me to depart from Nay Pyi Taw. Thank you so much for your kind and nice service, I'm happy so much with this hotel.

I arrived and they told me the room is 30 USD, and I explained to them that I can book it on Agoda for 23 USD. Instead of just paying them the money for the room, they had me book it online while standing at the counter. The wifi was terrible, the staff doesnt speak English. I asked them if they can call me a motorbike taxi and they told me to walk to the main road and...

Rooms were very big and nice - but note that the the configuration is King OR 2 singles, not King AND 2 singles, which resulted in us booking a room short (but Agoda was helpful). Rooms are very far from reception and breakfast, and the hotel is woefully understaffed. My father requires walking aid, called for hotel buggy 3 times over 30mins and each time staff said...

I was astonished at the layout of the entire hotel. I did not expect it to be a hotel of bungalows (intead was expecting a high-rise). There's not very much to be done in Nay Pyi Taw as far as touristy activities but I expect this will change given the lead up to the SEA Games tthis year and the marvellouis scale of building in the neww Capital. The hotel is close (5 ...

Was expecting a better conditioned room given the review that I read online. As it is located in the hotel zone, it is considered much more centrally located than those in Hotel Zone 2. The room is clean but very basic. The toilet used a shower curtain to "wrap around" the shower point with the pole sagging badly. The breakfast is really not amazing with limited seatin...

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped organize a bus ticket for me, and car rental service. The gym and the swimming pool is very nice and functional, although the swimming pool water looks very green and not completely clean. The hotel room smelled a bit like sigarettes even if it was a non-smoking room, otherwise very nice ho...

While there's precious little to interest a tourist in Nay Pyi Taw apart from the surreal vastness and near-total emptiness of Myanmar's purpose-built capital itself, those visiting the city could scarcely do better than the Tungapuri Hotel. Situated - like nearly all other accommodation options in NPT - in the aptly named "hotel zone," the Tungapuri is a taxi ride ...

Good basic standard at very reasonable price for Myanmar. Be careful about availability of taxis as no public transportation and this hotel in hotel zone which is pretty far from Bus terminal from Yangoon while a little closer to train station but still remote due to the pecular layout of Nay Pyi Daw. Hotel manager could secure booking of taxi at reasonable price, alth...

On a good location, smiley face, helpful, beautiful staff. With this price, I think this is the best hotel so far I've found in Nay Pyi Taw. Stayed 2 weeks without any problem. Hot well pressured water, good safe box, nice and very clean towels bed sheets. Rooms are well designed. I highly suggest this hotel. Have a very helpful manager too.

I stayed in New Ayer Yar Hotel for 5 nights. I like the size of the hotel room and its big (I got 2 Queen sized beds in the room with plenty of space left). The toilet is big and there are sufficient power points. The General Manager, Mr Aung Moe, is friendly and speak very good English. He is hard working and he is always around to greet and talk to guests at breakfas...

Our stay here was different to say the least. Naypidaw is an empty city, as was this hotel. When we arrived the place looked closed with nobody around and not even any power on, lights, A/C, nothing. However on check in we were told that there were no standard rooms available and we were upgraded. No complaints there! The room was huge, as was the bathroom and both wer...

Nay Pyi Taw may be the strangest city many people may visit, and its empty airport, streets and hotels may make you wonder whether there has been an alien abduction, but a clean hotel, with a beautiful garden setting with friendly helpful staff win thru. Ok, it's a bit of a way from the CBD and the airport, but everything in NPT is spread out. I would definitely use th...

The Director, Miss Moe, gave us a lift herself in the evening as we could not get a taxi. All hotels are in a hotel zone and it's best to get a motorbike taxi. Miss Moe and her staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. There were very few guests so we were treated extremely well. The WIFI connection was outstanding in terms of being in Myanmar. The bedroom was v...

this hotel is perfectly located in the lush greens of the city of nay pyi taw. i have never experience such a beautiful landscape and sights around than here. the hotel is very clean and it is a great place to do any kind of business you can think of. the taxi drivers are cheaper than in other cities of the country and will drive you to the other end of the city for ju...

I had to pick this hotel because there wasn't any other available on Agoda at the time I booked. When I arrived in Nay Pyi Taw I discovered I could have find a room in a more centrally located area of town, but I had already paid and so I went to my room. As I saw the room I was quite happily surprised to see how big it was, but then my joy got immediately broken by ...

Traveler impressions of Nay Pyi Taw
Nay Pyi Taw, the new capital of Myanmar, is a sprawling, mainly boring city created by the government of Myanmar.
it is new city and there is nothing else other than government offices. You may force yourself to go there if you have meetings.
Naypyidaw is once of the strangest cities in the world, illogically conceived by the then military dictatorship who decided that the capital must be moved away from the coast, where Yangon is located.
The Fountain Garden Park is fantastic at night. about 60c per visitor, with some spectacular fountains and light shows.
THIS IS THE OFFICE RUNNING CITY. OTHERWISE THE PALCE IS REALLY BORING. BUT HAVE TO GO THE PAGODA THAT MADE BY JADE AND REALLY WONDERFUL.
such a weird city. i would only suggest coming here if you need to for work or a conference or something.
Located in between Bagan and Yangon, it is worth passing through for a quick visit. The expressway is a very safe road and the drivers follow the rules with sensible speeds.

Nay Pyi Daw is the biggest City in South Ease Asia. It has been built nearly 5 years ago and the road is very wide comapre to other Cities.
This is a small and friendly city. Nice to walk around the city and spent time with friend or colleague after do some businesses.
This city was recently built specifically for the military and government elite and there is absolutely nothing to do in this city, it is almost surreal.
