Nice hotels & places to stay

We booked two rooms as there were four of us.We required one handicapped accessible room and one standard room.There were no photos on the website of the handicapped accessible room (bathroom;position/number of grab bars,toilet height etc.)When I phoned to request this I was told it was not possible.A simple Smart phone photo would be adequate. I emailed the manager and was told the same thing.Eventually these were provided when a staff member from another hotel in France intervened on my behalf.As it turned out the room entrance and room size was close to impossible to navigate in a wheelchair however the bathroom was very large and well designed.We requested the standard room for our friends be one with a view and it certainly had a fantastic view.Thank you!The location of the hotel was terrific.We appreciated the inclusion of the WIFI and it worked well from our room while we were there.The tea/coffee in the room was also appreciated.

We stayed in room 22 and I’m glad I spent a little extra on it. The view is spectacular. There is a balcony and you can surely enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine!!! The rooms are spacious. The bathroom clean. The staff are very courteous. We arrived early however the very sweet lady at the reception let is check in early! The breakfast was good. The lady and the young man(sorry didnt get their names) were very kind and helpful!!! Just to be aware of a fact that the lift is too small may be just about fits two people, but that wasnt a huge issue. It is close to all the sights including the viewing point, the flower market, old town etc. Overall a 4 star hotel!!! If only there were a pool!!!!!

The rooftop has panoramic views all around Nice. The hotel is well located, a bit back from the beach away from the awful tourist streets. After checking in we visited the rooftop bar for some salad. We were impressed with the view and returned after dinner (the staff had recommended an excellent restaurant in the old town). We met some Nice locals who had come to the bar, as it seems to be well known in the area for its views. The furnishings in the room were a bit old but comfortable.

Really nice hotel in a great position for central nice and the old town. Excellent staff. My only criticism is that the indoor pool was not heated anything like enough. It needs checking daily and adjusting when necessary. It is not the point that it’s connected to the outdoor via a plastic cover and that’s why it cold. It simply needs turning up the heat to make like you would expect from a heated indoor pool. On our last visit we stayed at the boscolo extra autograph hotel which is the Hyatt’s competitor. Their pool was properly heated. Please review this as it was one of the main reasons we chose the Hyatt. But the pool was too cold to enjoy.

We spent a week in this hotel in august 2019 and had a great time. It’s location is excellent - 7 mins from beach, train station and main shopping street, and near to most main attractions. The hotel facilities - gym, spa, rooftop pool and outdoor jacuzzi were superb, a real treat and absolutely made our holiday! Design wise it’s a little more traditional and the bedrooms were smaller than we expected but overall the facilities of the hotel and it’s location more than make up for this. An excellent hotel - would definitely stay here again when in Nice.

Fantastic old Dame of a hotel, just a garden away from the Negresco but significantly less expensive. Nicely refurbished rooms, some with fantastic views. Staff all very efficient and kind. We were upgraded to a larger rooms as we had booked twin beds and originally assigned a queen. This was a corner unit, handicapped accessible with large wet bathroom. Some delightful interior design features. Parking was 1 euro per hour in the next door public car park.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean, with good wardrobe space. the high ceilings made the room feel a lot bigger. Nice big window with traditional shutters and double glazing. Staff spoke good English. The only sour point was a charge of 24 euros on the credit card when we got home for use of the mini bar which we did not use (the tried to charge us 24 euros for a coke, diet coke, water and tonic water). However, after a few emails the hotel very kindly refunded the amount - but beware - it may be best asking them to remove the items as soon as you arrive or get them to check it when you check out. Aside from that, we would definitely revisit the hotel as it was in a great location for everything - bus to/from airport, restaurants, bars and the shops.

Clean and cozy room at a very convenient location in the city center. Nice and helpful staff. If you arrive at late night, ask them in advance so they will instruct you how to get in the room even after their reception time is ended and you can officially check-in next morning. Some simple kitchen equipment, dinnerware and cutlery are provided in the room so you can cook simple dishes bringing in your own foods and seasonings if you like. Supermarkets are near by or within walking distance. One concern to me was that the room was described as "no view" room, but I actually had a good view of city and open sky from a pair of tall windows, which was better than I wished for. This hotel is not for someone who likes to have services for everything or an opulent, gorgeous stay at a five-star hotel, but one of my best hotel choices I ever made, as I would rather prefer staying with taste of a local life.

I booked this hotel because it was near to the place I am going to board a midnight bus nearby. I did not expect a high quality of apartment hotel since I have been travelling a lot but Appart'City was really surprised me with the clean room and kitchenette and toilet. I particularly like the kitchenette because got dish washer and even microwave though the place is small. Of course with all the pots and utensils. If I ever travel to France again I will definitely stay with them again.

It was an awesome view of the Nice rivera, worth all it takes to stay at Radisson Blu. It was a clean hotel and the front desk staff was very helpful in checking us in, giving an upgrade to a room with very good view. There is a tram station right behind the hotel from where airport and the old town are away just a 7-8 minutes ride. There was excellent breakfast and very good gymnasium and sauna. If there's a place in Nice to make you feel special, it's the Radisson Blu!!

We had a great 2 nights stop over in Nice. Check in is super quick. All staff was nice and friendly and spoke good English. Close to train stations but beware the taxis here is a rip off 25 euros for less then 15 min taxi ride from Nice Ville station to the hotel... Come on! Room was clean although the carpet could do with a good scrub. There's a lot of Halal butchers, fast food and restaurants close by. Shopping centre where you can buy groceries, clothes shopping etc. is just across the road. Hop on hop off bus stop just down the road about 10 min walk, everything is walkable distance. They have a self service laundry too but the only thing that sucks about this is the dryer doesn't dry in one cycle you have to do 2 cycle. Bit expensive to wash your clothes 4.50 for wash and 3.50 to dry (forgot the exact amount sorry) If we ever come to Nice again would definitely stay here!

The staff first struck me as nice and friendly. The rooms are comfortable with air-conditioning, a great plus in the summer when Nice is hot and humid. The lockers are also useful with many compartments to keep your items, though do bring your own padlock. There are curtains for your bed if you need a little more privacy. Space inside the room itself is rather tight, though and it's not so convenient to put on the sheets yourself considering how big and heavy the mattress is. The bathroom floor is easily wet (would suggest to have a bigger towel or mat for the floor), and lacks hand soap at the sink. On the ground floor the common area is pretty nice, though I believe there is no kitchen for self-cooking. It is well located, very near to the train station and walkable to get to the coast and old town. The area feels safe and quiet and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. All in all would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone wanting to stay in Nice.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. It started with a warm welcome at the front desk with well informed staff. We liked the location of the hotel convenient to tourist areas, old town, walking streets and restaurants. The good buffet breakfast and the free newspapers available in the lobby were a nice bunus. We understand that free internet is coming soon but we had to subscribe to Orange to get connected and resented paying for that when most hotels seem to offer free connection.

The only bad thing I have to say about the Nice hotel was the fact that the air conditioing was off in the rooms. The room was stifling overnight and we had difficulty sleeping. Staff explained that is was off until mid May. They supplied a fan, however this was not at all adequate and we had difficulty sleeping. This is so poor for a 4 star hotel. Would not recommend staying here until air con is on, after May.

We checked in rather late, around 11pm,which was no problem at all, smiley hotel staff- the room is normal "small size" for this line of budget business hotels, fine though for a few nights only. At the same time, you could see the hotel was trying to bring design into a business hotel atmosphere, colorful rooms and lobby were appreciated. The bathroom and shower were nice, bed was very comfortable and very adequate size for a couple even...overall I recommend for those that want a cheap but yet nice designer option close to the airport

Funky and newly renovated hotel, so everything worked. Had a very serene and quiet feel about it the whole time I was there. I was kindly granted a room that faced the inner courtyard, so it was so quiet and perfect for a good nights sleep. Breakfast each day was good with enough continental choices available. Some may say it was repetitive, but at home I have the same thing for breakfast each day anyway! A few blocks from Tramline to get to old town and beach (or 15 min walk) and a few blocks to train station for your day tripping. Very glad I chose Ibis Styles for my stay!

Ideal for backpackers. You can use the kitchen to eat food, and surprisingly, there is a sauna and a gym in the basement. Conveniently located near department stores and Massena Square. And the staff responded well. It seems to be good at cleaning. When you travel from Nice to the suburbs, you have to find accommodation here. will have to pay for breakfast. And it was a shame that there was no olive oil in the kitchen such as basic sauce, sugar and salt. There are only kitchen utensils.

my wife and i were on a road trip around europe so one of the points for choosing this hotel was that it had secure parking. parking is very convenient and is located directly opposite the hotel in a multi-storey with its own private section which can only be accessed with a key code. we also chose this hotel for its location and price. in fact we were visiting monaco but the prices for a hotel there especially with car parking is very expensive. the location was great for us as monaco is just a short drive away and downtown nice is 10mins on public transport. the staff were very friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. room was a decent standard and was more than comfortable for our stay.

We loved nice!!!. The location of the hotel is perfect only a 10 Min walk to the train station the beach and the shops and cafes are all around you. The rooms where big enough and always kept clean, when we first arrived the hotel staff where welcoming and helped us get a good understanding of the city, the only bad side of the room was that we had to keep the doors of the bathroom and toilet closed as you could smell the sewer, there is a restaurant outside the hotel on the corner the best food we have had in France by far was amazing !
