Where to stay in Phu Quoc Island
Phu Quoc Island hotels & accommodations

It is a very good place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time at Vinpearl park or play golf. There are a lot of things to do for children: amusement park, waterpark, aquarium, games center, etc. All of it is included in the room rate. Good point about these places was that there weren't many people, especially comparing to Vinpearl park in Nha Trang. So you just...

There is something very special about Salinda Resort. The staffs are warm, friendly, sincere, attentive and helpful. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights at the Garden Villa. The room is big, clean, comfortable bed and nice warm layout making it relaxing even though there is construction going on next to the resort. The noise didn't affect our stay there. The res...

Nam Nghi is a brandnew five star resort located on a penisula in the north-west Phu Quoc. It features beach villas where you can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. The minibar is richly filled with soft drinks, chocolate, French wine, whiskey and Remy Martin, etc. It's also worth mentioning that the TV system not only includes HD cable TV channels, but also on-dem...

The location is great, we can walk to the night market. Morning buffet was also amazing, the pool and beach is also great. But we’re disappointed because the pool was closed at 7 pm. Swimming and drinking at night is one of the best part of holiday in Phu Quoc island, it should be opened till 9 or 10 pm.

It is indeed a very good resort with large space covered by lots of trees, spacious room with awesome furniture and good customer service. Room rate is quite reasonable given it is a 5-star resort. The location is also good to as it is located 5 km around Duong Dong town where visitors can find a variety of restaurants and access to Phu Quoc Night Market. The Shells ...

I was already three times on Phu Quoc Island and the Saigon Phu Quoc Resort and Spa is the best hotel I was there till now. The location is great because it's also very close for walking to the town center and night market. To other side you can walk a long way along the beach and visit fish restaurants, bars and other nice places. The bungalows was great and very co...

We wanted some quiet peaceful time together and we got just that at the resort. It was at a beautiful location and Phu Quoc beach was by far the best I've experienced. Our fridge didn't work well, the water pressure was inconsistent so we had a call and someone was sent promptly to fix that. Great service overall.

Lahana resort is a hidden gem in Phu Quoc.. amazing surroundings, the pool is a dream and the rooms are beautiful and with all necessary amenities. Staff is really friendly although sometimes hard to communicate because they mainly don’t speak fluent english. The breakfast was great and with a lot of variety.. the hotel was great value for the money! We were very pleas...

Except for the water pressure from my room shower. Every are just too perfect to be true. Beach is so much cleaner and beautiful than Sao Beach (what everyone saying the best beach in Phu Quoc in the net). Friendly staff. Bars are fabulous. Foods and beverages are reasonable price. Breakfast variety are way above expectation. Worth every penny of mine staying in this h...

we stayed in this resort while some part of it was under completion. however, this is a promising one to be the best resort in phu quoc island. the room is spacious and lovely designed with a balcony heading to the sea, and also the bathroom has the ocean view. the location of this resort is far away from the duong dong town so tourists can enjoy the wild nature of thi...

Well what can I say, this is the best hotel I think in entire Phu Quoc Island. Our Room was absolutely amazing! The breathtaking view of the sea, glassed bathroom , We got a welcome gift of a bowl of fresh fruits a Vitenamese Hat and SOL Tote Bag, The food was INCREDIBLE. The staff were WONDERFUL most especially Lance the Filipino Manager heading the reception. The poo...

Stayed there for 2 nights. The hotels location is just 1km away from the night market. Hence, you can walk out and in easily. Ammenities is a bit dated, but acceptable, just as other hotels/ resorts in Phu Quoc, their grade all sub-par to normal standard on mainland. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have free airport pickup service. And in our last day, due to...

We got a last-minute booking here over Christmas and the place was great! Fantastic staff, good food, fun Christmas decor and Santa arriving by boat to the beachfront holiday party. We had been upgraded into a larger bungalow upon arrival, then asked to move to our normal class bungalow when another (unplanned booking?) family arrived - it was a minor nuisance to move,...

We stayed in a deluxe villa with two rooms. The room is spacious and clean. The resort is on the beach with calm waters and fantastic sunset views. The resort staff provides good service (especially F&B Manager Chinh and his service staff) who makes sure the guests are happy. There are no restaurants around the resort but the food in the resort is reasonably priced. U...

I 've stayed at this hotel for 3 days with my mom and baby. When we arrived, staffs welcomed us with warmhearts. All the facilities and restaurants are so clean and nice and lots of staffs were managing gardens in the resort so hard. Swimming pool and connected beach were so clean and well-managed. Above all, we were so impressed by attitude and mind of the staffs. Un...

The resort has a nice location, only 15 minutes from the airport (100,000 VND taxi). It's near the center of Phu Quoc island, make it easy to travel to the attractions in north and south. Has private beach, the water itself is clean, but there are plastic bags from other tourists (actually I found that is a common problem in Phu Quoc, some of the local restaurants and...

We planned to stay for 3 nights, but stayed for 11! The best vacation! Great bungalow with view over pool and sea. Fantastic! Comfort beds, Good cleaning, friendly staff who gives the best service 24/7! Helped us to the doctor, rented motorbikes, gave great suggestions what to do, eat and see, not only "tourist traps". Great beach, Good Breakfast, superfriendly staff...

We really loved the Thanh Kieu Resort. We were in Phu Quoc for 4-nights in February. The weather was tolerable and the ocean at that time is clean and not rough at all. The location, the beach, the staff. We really didn't know what to expect but when we got there, we were blown away. The bungalows, although a tad rustic, were quaint and comfy. The semi-outdoor ba...

Without doubt, this is one of the top favorite hotels to stay in Phu Quoc island ever. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by all the staffs. The staffs were extremely friendly and the restaurant is very flexible. We had two awesome nights here and felt very relaxed which obviously added up to our experience. The room were super clean and we surprisingly received goo...

Must to say that we decided to extend one more night because hotel’s service is very excellent. We really enjoyed the hospitality from the staff here. The way they served food, drinks and the way they guided us to explore Phu Quoc. Everything is AMAZING.The Operation manager and staffs were really helpful and considerate to us as we are staying one of the most valued h...

Don't think you can stay anywhere better in phu Quoc right now. This resort is truly amazing and the staff is super service minded. Love it and would recommend it to both couples and families. Only downside is that it is a bit off location but all resorts here are and since the beach is the best on the island there is little need to go anywhere else other than some exc...

We really like the swimming pool and the beach of this resort. The beach is very clean, compared to the others in Phu Quoc. The pool is very well suited to the young children because it is not too deep and just next to the beach. We really appreciate the staff as well, especially those in the two restaurants. They are very helpful and lovely. Overall, we definitely com...

I visited Phu Quoc Island with 3 of my girlfriends and we had the most magical time at Sea Sense resort. we rented two of the beach front villas and their location was breathtaking. you can see the sea from your four poster bed and watch the sunset from your balcony. The Hotel is quite far from the main town so we spent most of our time in the resort and ate lunch ther...

I have almost nothing negative to say about La Mer Resort, cozy rooms with a bungalow-feeling, amazing environment with a lot of trees and greenery. Free bottles of water in the room, varied breakfast with a lot of choices. Great helpful staff, clean and a Big pool with sunbeds and towels supplied by the hotel. The location is perfekt with a lot of restaurants and sma...

We almost felt the value for what the pics showed was too good to be true but when we arrived we were even more happy! We had the two bedroom villa and it was gorgeous! Cheap places to stay in Phu Quoc Island

I booked the triple room for 2 nights. There were 2 beds, 1 big and 1 small so I let my 2 sisters have the big one. The small one was comfy but it could be much better if equipped with a bigger and warmer blanket. The staff was friendly enough and meticulous but a little slack and not so smiling. Meals were acceptable but expensive.

I stayed a long time in Phu Quoc and really liked the island and also this hostel. It has a good atmosphere,a pool and hammocks to chill in. If you are an easy traveller,a backpacker, you will enjoy this place lot. it's simple but has everything you need. the location is on the main road so a lot of shops and bars around. The staff is friendly as well. What I really li...

We stayed here for a few days as we where meeting friends in a different hostel, if we hadn't been meeting friends, we would have stayed here our entire stay. The beds where pretty comfy and each bed has their own fan. The staff are very helpful and friendly, even after leaving we came back for laundry and scooter rental. The restaurant is good and cheap to. The fe...

It is easy to locate and close to the center of Duong Dong town - the most populous town in Phu Quoc and sits at the center of Phu Quoc. It’s just 2 years old so the hostel is in great condition and well managed. Scooter rental cost is VND150k and you can basically go to anywhere on the island within a day. The atmosphere is great with people from all around the wor...

I truly love this place. the staff are honest, was and friendly, especially the security guard who makes sure you are safe and having a good time. My stay on Phu Quoc island was magical thanks to this place. Phu house has free pool table, ping pong and foosball which is fantastic to make friends with other travelers. They also have amazing drink specials on their rooft...

I had a family room for 3 people. The hostel is new. The room is clean and neat. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Hostel right in the center of town, also Phu Quoc island, so it's very easy to access night market or travel to North or South. We had a fantastic vacation. Only one unsastisfied thing that there's no minibar in room. But it's ok.

Stayed here for 5 days. The owner is very friendly and is able to arrange many customized tours around and on the island. Definitely go for the hike to the birds view spot. Rooms don't have airco but the vans were good enough for us. The scooters he rents are the best ones we had in Vietnam. Only less favorable thing about the place is that it is far away from the nigh...

Both me and my girlfriend were very thankful for the service we received while staying at the Guest House. Though a little far away from town and the beaches, we both had a wonderful time and thought the guest house was great value for money. We rented a scooter directly from the guesthouse for 6 days at a good rate and zoomed around town without much concern. They als...

This is a perfect place to stay is you like to stay in a beautiful space surrounded by nice and friendly people. This place definitely maid my trip. The staff is incredible, sweet and caring. The locations is perfect, close to both beautiful natural and the nice little village where you get a very authentic Vietnamese experience. I’ll definitely return to the river mou...

1. The resort is much nicer than it is on the pictures, which is quite surprising to me. 2. The location is good, close to city center 3. The beach itself is clean, nice, not so deep, children can swim easily there 4. There is a restaurant which is run by foreigners; thus, the food provided is of high standard and close to the european taste. 5. There is also Aroma...

Enjoy my stay and hotel. Situated with 5-10 minutes on a bike with almost everything. Staff is super friendly and a smart, always was willing to help. There are small shops with local prices, where you can buy water, coconuts and lot more. Room is nice, pool area pretty is also pretty relaxed place. Highly recommend

The facility was not convenient for beach access, the maids never cleaned the bathroom, the room safe didn't work, the air conditioner was crappy. I usually don't post reviews, and I hate people that complain. But this was our honeymoon and we were expecting a nice experience in phu quoc. It wasn't. Period.

First, carefully booked for 10 days, then extended to the end of the trip for another 10, because I realized that it is better not to find. I think this is one of the best places in Phu Quoc in terms of price and quality: a full-fledged low-cost hotel room with shower and toilet, with its own territory and a garden near the beaches. There are not so many nightclubs ...

Best place to make a tour around the beautiful Islands around, or take the cable car or have the feeling of the local Village. Not far by motorbike to the best beach in Phu Quoc Sao Beach, and also very interesting to have a look to the Coconut Prison. The atmosphere in the hostel is really good, the owner family so kindly, they speak english. Rooms very good equipate...

Air condition, hot water, electricity - forget about it! Instead, this hostel (or actually, three little single bungalows and a family-size bungalow-like house) offers an authentic experience in the Vietnamese jungle. Thanks to Jenny and her family, you will enjoy home-made food on her pepper farm (which, of course, includes home-grown pepper), take morning baths in th...

This is the best experience that we have. The little guest house owner is so nice. First, she is so friendly and helpful (You can ask her for anything). Second, she guided us to go around the island with calm, patient as our long time friend. Third, She also help and offer us the best tours for squid fishing and coral diving. Next, She also allowed us to have a small pa...

This's the first time coming to Phu Quoc Island with my family. Everything is strange, I know nothing but some information in the Internet. This hotel belongs to a family. The son and his wife take care of room booking and services, his mother cooks for guests, and she did it very well, her seafood was delicious. The son had been a vice-president of a tourist company a...

We arrived to Phu Quoc planning to stay 1 night only, but after meeting Mr. Lam and his family, the island experience just kept getting better and we didn't leave until the very end of our vacation. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, clean and neat. We woke up rested and relaxed each morning, ate a delicious breakfast (fried eggs with vietnamese bread and fre...

The manager guy and all staff is very super friendly and speak english very good, introduce island history and where should i go, give me a bike one night free go to drink beer and look around the town ,really good, don't server breakfast "for down cost room" but have local food nearly hotel 20 metter, especially "bung kean" and "meat with rice" food . The room is ve...

Family owned , will help with motorcycle for cheap , don't expect to much as price tells , but when your out all day you have a bed at night ... Nice people and good location Rory's is the bar to go to on the the beach so spend what you save there on accommodation .. Honest people , no frills , explore the island from there

Phu Quoc Bien Guest House is just a small hostel with 5 rooms so the receptionist will remember and have time to serve each guest (even chit chat some small jokes). Our rooms were not very big but enough comfortable with the air conditioner, TV, Wi-fi,clean bed and WC (that seems all what we need for a short vacation). There was not any fridge, this point should be con...

We had a pleasant stay at Phu Quoc An Guesthouse. For three of us we booked the family room with three beds (two queens and one single/full) and it didn't disappoint in size: there was more than enough space for us to spread out. Would have been nice to have a triple room option with three singles (and a lower price to reflect the lower maximum occupancy), but this roo...

Ninila is really amazing value for money. You can easily spend entire days just going between the pool and the beach (I did) eating your way through the restaurants (both cheap and expensive) in the Ong Lang beach area. I did! I actually preferred the closest beach to Ninila (left turn out of the driveway) to Sao Beach during my stay. It was super chill, sunset over t...

I had a nice stay at Tang Thanh Phat hotel. The standard room I had was large and comfortable enough for two people. It felt like my own little house with a shared wall with the neighbor. I got windows with garden view on three sides of the room. It was a corner room in a four-room cottage . Each room got its own spacious entry that looked sort of like a patio and a ni...

Very good, as much as I would have enjoyed my stay better with some roommates, they upgraded my room to a bungalow type for free. The owners/managers were so nice. The rooms are clean. It is also a walking distance to the long beach. Overall, love the place

After two hours of nonstop hotel consideration, I finally stopped and booked with Muong Thanh luxury hotel. The price was 1.66 million VND (~70 USD) for one night stay. I never thought that with the price for one night I could benefit that much. My travel companion and I were allowed to check in five hours early (which was a huge benefit for a five-star hotel), and aft...

I have a business trip in Phu Quoc, the Phu Quoc Ocean Pearl hotel is very expensive location convenient for moving to the area. The hotel is very new, beautiful and luxurious. Staff fun, friendly, enthusiastic. The food is very good. After a working day, I did not have to move to other entertainment places because the hotel has Sky on the 10th floor - the sunset was v...

We had a lovely time at the Camia Resort, the first hotel of our stay in Phu Quoc and definitely the right choice for us! Impeccably designed and landscaped, the huts are dotted along a hill and the beach bar/restaurant is right over the water with world-class views of the sunset. The breakfast buffet was the favourite of our trip. The 3 layered iced coffee was also th...

Our first stay on Phu Quoc Island and we definitely would go back to Cassia Cottage and Phu Quoc again. We loved the cottages, two swimming pools, private beach etc. The hotel staff was very helpful and we felt we got a good value for our money (which is not always the case). The hotel owner has a great story (we only read about the owner but did not meet him). We did ...

It was really amazing, I had great time with my boyfriend there so I would recommend for couple's stay in Phu Quoc. I would come back to this resort again as I love its antique design, the room was very comfortable though it is quite far from the beach (good for exercise though). I think the staff is very friendly, I don't understand why many people complained about th...

Agoda mention the payment should be collected at the property but they swipe my credit card without notice me, when I asked them during my check out, they just told me the payment has been made. From the moment I arrived I felt so welcomed by the owners and their staff. Throughout my stay they treated me more like one of the family than just a guest. They really go out of their way to make sure that your stay is the best it can be and will try and meet any request at all if possible. I initially booked 3 nights at Le Forest, with the intention of booking some...

Really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast wasn't as fantastic as other places we have stayed, but we did eat towards the end of the breakfast times. It is a very clear path to long beach, the resorts section of the beach isn't the best. We tended to just go for a swim and spend the day at other nicer beaches. It is very Central to many restaurants and the night markets. T...

Real reviews for hotels
Phu Quoc is famous for the friendly, fish sauce, dogs but the most is beaches. You can find a lot of nice and peace beaches everywhere.
There's not much to do at night except eat at the night market. During the day there's plenty of places to visit but nothing too fancy.
There are many things to do here. However, I went with my family and children thus stayed only inside Vinpearl which was enough for them.
Didnt think much of this island unless you are looking for a holiday at the beach and eating seafood.
It's a nice island, but quit expensive. The food and products are expensive if compare to Saigon. But generally it's a god spot for city escape.
Very quite and calm island, the citizens are extremely friendly, good place to visit in order to experience local vibes
It is a great way to rent a motorbike and explore Phu Quoc on your own (provided that you are not over 60 lol).
less developed and rural at its basic. Love how rural it is at the local market... But, in time, it will be developed like Danang and Phuket.
Squid fishing and island touring on a motorcycle were the highlights. Seafood at the night market is overrated.
The people were really friendly. They love to help you find the way, give you advices about the places you want to come.
There are rubbish every where. Plastic and glass allover, even at beaches. At sao beach i see, that hotel worker throw bag of garbage srait to beasc.
I have been living in Ha Noi for two years and decided to have a beach break for 5 days. However my negative experiences in Phu Quoc ended up out weighing the positive.
Beautiful islands with so many beautiful beaches with clean & clear seawater and white smooth sand but the waves are not strong, not suitable for people who love surfing.
If you're into sitting by the pool or on the beach just relaxing and doing nothing, then Phu Quoc is a good place to go.
Phu Quoc Island is such a new tourism attraction in Vietnam. I got a bad impression of Phu Quoc Island.
This is our first time travel here. It turned out perfect. We would like to recommend to everyone not to miss out for your short holiday and we will be back again.
In one day, visitors can experience the culture of Vietnam at the local market in the morning, relax on a remote and stunning beach in the afternoon, enjoy a delicious dinner and drinks at one of the restaurants and enjoy accommodation at the variety of hotels and resorts on this superb island getaway.
Relaxing place. Should come up with more activities on the island. generally still not so commercialize yet hence it is good.
It's ok if you take a resort with high paying. Going solo you would pay much for such a city with very high price for eating, seafood is not cheaper than eating it in Ho Chi Minh city.
I was passing through , so could have stayed at any of the beaches out of town . I hired a scooter for 2 days , 2000000 /day .
I think this island makes us relaxed. this island has both well developed areas and undeveloped area.
Great place for a family or a couple to visit. Beaches are clean, the water is warm and the seafood flows.
A nice island with good beach/sand and relaxation. Seafood is fresh, good and widely popular obviously.
Nice island with quite some places and things to discover: - It is an nice island, so all regular sea/beach/sand related: sea boating/cruising/swimming, diving, snorkelling.
A visit to the night fish Market is a must but you can also enjoy fresh fish at all restaurants .Tours can be arranged and i would recommend a boat trip out to go snorkelling / diving extremely cheap well organised and staff at rainbow divers are professional and safety concious .
a couple nights here is honestly enough. Food and drink and hotels are so expensive and not so great.
Unfortunately, being Australian we are spoilt. The beaches here are overrated and dirty. If you want to look at the beautiful sunsets, lie in a hammock, ride around the island exploring - you will have a great time but the water has rubbish.
Gorgeous island with beautiful white sand and clear blue waters. The nicest part of Viet Nam in my opinion.
Phu Quoc Island is totally different from HCM city. The security standard is better. The food are cheaper and more delicious
It's hot! Be careful of the sun. So much to see. Take care with where your hotel is ........ Saw many people walking back and forward long beach area .
