"We loved the out of the way location (easy to drive to but not sure about easiness with public transportation). Many vineyards around made for a delightful afternoon walk with lots of photo opportunities of Mt Etna behind grape vines. There is a first class restaurant — Ristorante Da Antonio — a short walk away. This restaurant itself would have been worth the drive. The hosts Velinda and Gabriella (I hope I remember correctly) were very welcoming and friendly. Made us feel right at home and shared fresh pressed olive oil made from their own trees. Our room was comfy and warm. We would return. Grazie milli!"
