Where to stay in Sapporo
Sapporo hotels & accommodations
It's my 2nd time with Tmark City Hotel Sapporo, and it's also my 2nd time at Sapporo. I am glad to stay here once again, this time round, I stayed a smaller room. As expected, is a small room w everything equipped. When arrival on a raining day, and we don not have umbrella, so we are pretty quite wet after the walk from the station... They immediately pass us towel f...
I'm so happy for choosing this hotel in Sapporo. Travelling as a group of five, so the connecting room was great. The hotel is still new, so you can expect that it is very clean. The location is great, in the middle of tanukikoji. Access from the metro station is easy, just follow the instruction in the hotel website, and you won't get lost. Staff were all nice and h...
Booked here for 5 nights , its still actually our 3rd night. The hotel room is good for 2 pax, japan standard room os pretty small. But everything is clean, the staff are all nice specially those in the breakfast buffet (which you should not miss). They provide all the toiletries and some ladies freeby in reception. Free drinks in reception too, if you have nothing to ...
By Japan standards, this is a decent-sized room for the price you pay, though some may still find it a bit of a squeeze. It is a basic room with no room safe and no wardrobe - just a clothes bar for you to hang your clothes. Do not go to the wrong hotel. There is another JR Inn in Sapporo. This one is the JR Inn Sapporo South. It is better to walk via the underground ...
We were on a 3 weeks holiday through Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo & Hokkaido). This was the best hotel we stayed in. Location is excellent. We came from New Chitose Airport by direct train (no transfers required, which is important if you have kids with you) and got off at JR Sapporo Station. The hotel is connected to JR Sapporo Station via the underground mall....
This is the best hotel we have stayed in during our whole Japan trip. Much better than most hotels in Tokyo (in size and price). This is very near the subway which makes it convenient to travel to known tourist spots. A convenient store is also located just right beside the hotel. A few meters walk you will be in Susukino where most of the malls and restaurants are. Al...
Staff were friendly and efficient. Laundry facilities work fine but would be better if there is a coin dispenser (detergent dispenser takes 10 yen coins, washer and dryer takes 100 yen coins, IIRC). It's close to the action on Odori Park. The bus from airport stops here to drop passengers, but if you want to catch a bus to airport early in the morning, you will have to...
Century Royal Sapporo Hotel is located near the Odori subway station. It is also connected underground to the mall, making it very convenient for hotel guests. Good breakfast buffet spread, too. Downside is the limited number of TV channels for guests looking for entertainment in English. Good thing wifi is strong and you just rely on your gadgets for your entertai...
Location is the best, a few steps away from JR Sapporo station and restaurants/cafes/shops. I am a return traveller and this time I travelled with family of 4, including 2 elderly. The hotel staff were hospitable, friendly, polite and helpful, especially with assisting me with an onsen booking. They also noted down all my needs before my arrival and were able to satisf...
After staying at a tiny hotel in Sapporo and a traditional hotel in Noboribetsu, this was a refreshing change. A very comfy, spacious, modern zen-furnished and nice new hotel in the heart of Sapporo with an in-house Onsen. Just note that the Women and Men Onsens alternate between morning and afternoon on 3th floor and 5th floor. Reception was very helpful but not all o...
I've stayed at four other hotels in Sapporo and this one is a nice balance between price, comfort and location. Our room was a little more spacious at a lower price point than a couple of the business-type hotels we previously stayed at in Sapporo. It is located along Odori Park, but the hotel is several blocks away from the nearest subway exit, which makes a big di...
Will book with this hotel again in future travel, my husband and I felt lucky to have chosen this hotel in Sapporo, guest relation officer mr nagazawa is excellent, all staff at the reception wonderful attentive servive
I was travelling to Sapporo with 10 other family members and had booked 5 rooms. The location is very near to the sapporo station where it provides excellent access to all the places that we wanted to visit. The staff are nice and well versed with English. They are also very kind to provide us advice on where to visit. They are very helpful in helping us to get informa...
Located right outside exit 3 of Honsui Susukino metro station, linked to the covered underground mall Pole Town (which stretches from Susukino area to Sapporo Station). Walking distance to Nijo market, Don Quiote and Daiso. Many evening food options in the susukino area, very lively after the closure of malls at 8-9pm. Convenience shop on ground level of hotel. Hote...
We stayed in the standard size room this time. The room is big and we can move around freely. It’s a room with a lot of window so that u can enjoy the sunshine easily. The hotel room is clean and tidy. The hotel staff can speak and understand English well. The only point that it has an disadvantage over other Sapporo hotel is the location (it takes 8-10mins walk from J...
Paid triple room for two nights about $470++[breakfast for 3]. Thought it was a steal & booked after reviewing many hotels in Sapporo. Very basic room but everything was there. H/e, I won’t repeat booking if coming back if given the same room quality. Staff are good and courteous, location is about 1km from Sapporo station. There are under pass with many shops and res...
The hotel is closed to Shin-Sapporo station both subway and JR, it takes about 10 minutes to get Sapporo station. Around the hotel, there are shopping mall, for shopping and dinning. The room is larger than orher hotel in sapporo that I stayed, Only one complaint is wifi is available around lobby.
The hotel location is superb. The room although a little but small but as a typical japan. This would consider average. However, the view is fabulous ( try all 4 sides and still like everyside) The service staff has no flaw here. I can only think of few other hotels that has a more impressive service than this one (those are not in hokkaido and also come with rid...
Very conveniently located to the JR Sapporo station (as long as it doesn't rain or snow). High quality toiletries are provided (no shower cap though). Their twin room is bigger sized than most rooms in Japan with plenty of space to move around even with two big luggage laid out. Complimentary breakfast choices are limited and the same every day, but all are of high qua...
Just a street next to Sapporo JR station, the basement subway also linked to JR station, which is very convenient The room are small and comfortable, just like other hotels in japan, but trendy designed with essential equipments But the price is a bit high when comparing to other hotel in sapporo
The distance was a bit too far for me. I booked this erroneously without realizing there were a lot of hotels in Sapporo with same name. The hotel couldn't allow for a change. They were not flexible on laundry service. No pressing irons to lend to clients. The laundry service takes a day to be ready. I feel this has to change. All in all, good service.
We stayed here because none place whatsoever available in Sapporo that weekend, but we were nor dissapointed. Not that far from Chitose station, super clean, love the shampoo and soap provided, must be high end ones. The room is big compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan. Totally recommended
The Sapporo Park hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in Japan, and I would definitely consider coming back. The staff and service levels are excellent, and the breakfast is good. I had a problem with my reservation when I checked in over the Christmas period – my own fault – but the staff and management at Front Desk were very helpful and they resolved m...
The hotel was so good, I literally bothered to even leave them a review on Google! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC! They spoke super good english (this young fair lady, sorry did not get her name). We were travelling around Hokkaido, Osaka, Kyoto for a total of 12 to 13 days. This was the BEST hotel among all the hotels we stayed at. I wished all the hotels had such ...
This hotel is fairly new, about 3 years old and it's more modern than the other hotels in Sapporo area. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We like that the rooms are more spacious than the other hotels we browsed and the interior is quite modern. The hotel's location is excellent, it's within 5 minutes walk from Sapporo station and Tokyu dept store. There are...
A little corridor in the room, it makes the room much more larger and more space to place our luggage. We lived in the highest floor -25/F, which can look at the whole Sapporo. A really nice view outside the hotel. But we cannot see the Odori Park and the Television Tower, because we are horizontally aligned with it. Price is super cheap among other hotels in S...
This hotel has become our place to stay when in Sapporo. I have stayed at other hotels while in Sapporo, but this is an excellent choice for singles and families. They can make the larger than normal (for Japan) rooms fit up to four beds; the internet is direct connect (no wireless in the room), but it is a solid connection to the internet.
Very impressed with the hotel's 5-star hospitality. Room was great and staff extremely helpful! Though not next to subway station, it's convenient with a bus stop for many bus lines running right in front of the hotel. Short taxi trips to many key locaions. Stayed at other Sapporo Hotels but would still choose Renaissance again.
Pros - Great location, walking distance to Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower, Tanukikoji Shopping Street & Pole Town shopping, which is linked to JR Station shopping too - Reasonable price - Very clean because the hotel is still pretty new Cons - Staffs’ English is not very good - Room is kind of small, but I believe most hotels in Sapporo are similar I love the location ...
I and my friends stayed here for 5 nights and we had a pleasant stay. It's 1 minute walking distance away from Hosui Susukino subway station (blue line) which is 2 stations away from JR Sapporo station. The problem was we couldn't find lift/escalator at Hosui Susukino subway station so we took stairs and carried our heavy luggages. It's better to go to Susukino subway ...
Cheap places to stay in Sapporo
A wonderful campsite in a glorious location. I really enjoyed staying in my tent but the next time I come back I might rent one of the cute little chalets.
bedroom, bathroom and toilet are clean. There may be not enough hot water for shower if many people use the shower at the same time. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk to Sapporo station. It is a bit difficult to find the hostel as it is opposite to a residential building, no big sign to help you locate the hostel. Tanukikoji shopping arcade(狸小路) is close to the host...
Grids sapporo hotel was a very convenient place to stay since it is in the heart of the shopping area. When you go out of the hotel, you can easily shop. Around 3 mins to don quixote store and a lot of shops nearby. It is also very accessible to the tram stops and walking distance to the different tourist area in sapporo. I just walked to the hotel going to and from th...
Location is right around Susukino which is where you wanna be during nights for a lively atmosphere. A bit far from JR Sapporo station, but you can take the tram if you like (not covered by JR pass). About 30-40 minutes walk from Sapporo station. The hotel is nice. It’s like a combination of internet cafe/entertainment center/manga comics/capsule hotel. I enjoyed read...
Everything is incredible ! Staffs are friendly and helpful. I stayed in Female Dorm 8-bed, the room is so unique which give you privacy and I think it's queen bed size. Bed is comfy and I had really good sleep after 18 hours journey on 3 flights. Too bad due to tiredness I can't join their small party at bar below. Minimarket just next door, walking distance to Susuki...
loved this hostel ! had great facilities including two sitting rooms, a big kitchen and laundry facilities. our double room was very small but thats what you get in japan! we did have to ask for another blanket as we were there over new years but they were only too happy to oblige. the location is great! its about a 10 minute walk into Susukino, a major nightlife dis...
Had a great time staying in this capsule my first time in Japan and I chose Sapporo Hokkaido the place to spend my travel alone and this place exceeded my expectations.. Stayed here for 7nights and all I can say is the place was so clean although you just need to stay away the capsule from 10am-1pm because that’s their time for cleaning the whole place. Sapporo capsule...
I reserve double non smoking room. This room at first floor. Inside the room have air condition, heater, electronic fan, shampoo, liquid soap and refrigerator. It's convenient. Staff is very friendly. Thank you for helping me. The hotel near Sapporo station and Sapporo government. I try to traveling alone in Sapporo. You can walking from hotel to travel place in Sappor...
The staff are nice. They offer simple breakfast which is nice. The bed is comfortable amd warm. Hope to get to stay with them again when I come back to Sapporo
Owner of Sappolodge is very kind. I had beer everyday alone, he sometimes have an effort to make a conservation with me. And I met two japaness Hiko and Youa. Hiko is not stay in sappolodge, but she come to here everyday to meet others. She is cute. Youa came to sapporo to go Amuro Namie. He is from Okinawa. But he cant swim lol. He looks very kind. I was ve...
I booked via Agoda app last minute and unfortunately booked the wrong room type (mixed). I sent a message if I could have it changed to a different one if available and I was glad they were able to accommodate the request. The place is nice and very clean. Amenities are great also. It's quite far from the main Sapporo/Odori/Susukino area but should not be a problem as ...
All staff I met here are helpful and nice. Yuto, Misu, Yudai. Special thanks to Yudai when we need help for another stay in Sapporo. That day the train between Sapporo and Hakodate was closed due to landslide/heavy rain and we forced to stay one more night at Sapporo. Unfortunately, the guest house was full and Yudai tried his best to assist us. With his assistance, we...
We stayed in this hotel for 6 days 5 nights in time for the Sapporo Snow Festival 2016. The hotel was nicely located walking distance to Nakajimakoen subway and a 10mins leisure walk to Susukino. Sometimes we even walk as far as to Odori Park, yes it is doable, you just have to brave the frosty winter weather. Staff speaks good English too, especially the lady receptio...
I've been visiting Japan for several times already, and I can easily say Tentoten is one of the best hostel that I've ever been too. Coincidentally, this happened during my first visit to Sapporo. Location was good, if not decent. Pretty close to the Nakajimakoen metro station (a few minutes walking). 24H convenience stores are scattered around. Surprisingly, the host...

Highy recommended.. and value for money!! i stay in winter to join opening of ice festival in Sapporo.. Close to this hotel there is a Chitose Aoba Park which have nice view of snow and beautiful park.. also not crowded and you can enjoy there before come to Sapporo. Hotel was suitable with kids and have playground. my room was big and clean.. bathroom also comforta...
Only expected a place to crash for a night but meeting the host made it one of the more memorable experiences in Hokkaido. It was great talking to them. Just super positive vibes! This guest house is also very very clean--just completely spotless. Much more than all the rest in Sapporo in the same price rang. I was told the bed sheets were 100% linen! It was super comf...
Pros - good location with basic facilities. Cons - Dissatisfied with the reception of one of the staff when we came an hour before checkin. Speak no English and unfriendly. Just point to put our luggage. Room bit small.
The hotel is located in the red light district of Sapporo but it’s safe to walk around. I saw many travellers walking around with their luggages. 5-10 mins walk from the metro station and many restaurants near the hotel. Very clean room and friendly hotel staff. But if you need to take JR for one day tour, you need to transfer at Sapporo Station. Definitely value for ...
I stayed here during the Sapporo Snow Festival and this one was cheap when compared to other hotels. I had one room with two guest and price was "for one guest". So, this was a good deal. However, it was still quite expensive, because the season was on. Room was tiny and it was annoying sometimes. This is an old Japanese business hotel, so is was slightly worn out. Sti...
There is a curfew! From 00:00 until 06:00 the doors are closed. There is no Wi-Fi in the room, only downstairs on the first floor. Moreover, you have to bring your own towels, because you do not get any. There are only two shower rooms all the way at first floor, there are only toilets on the same floor as the rooms.
This was my second time staying at Hotel Vista Nakajima Koen. The rooms are a great value when you book in advance, and the shower is the roomiest of any Hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The room also has a nice feel and the location is very convenient. This is my go to hotel in Sapporo.
It's great value for money! The place is near Hosui Susukino station, which is just 1 station away from Odori stn. We stayed there during the duration of the winter festival. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast is okay and I dont think the choices change that much from day to day, but everything is decent. Still 5*! Red Planet was the c...

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Susukino. It's a bit of a walk from the main Susukino Subway station but there's a Tram station near by. There is a 7-11 and Lawson close by for some late night food. We stay at this hotel mainly because of it's location near other main hotel in Sapporo that has buses to the ski resorts. The room is quite small b...
Near Hosuisusukino Subway (a plus factor). Very near the Susukino area, the Nakajima Park, Odori Park and Tanukikoji. Very quiet especially at night which makes it a good location for me after a whole day of walking/strolling around the city. Big toilet but I had some concern about it, there was water leaking on the floor and I don’t know where it came from. They clean...
The Ino's place is very good for services. So, I will come back when I will gone to Sapporo, Japan.
The room is very clean and comfortable with every facility you will need. For female travelers, the hotel considerately provides the independent bathroom for use. Also, the hosts are very friendly and willing to help. Definately a nice place for economic stay.
-best location near JR train station (chitose) but not busy because it's located in residential area -very nice and helpful staff (he is owner) -clean and relax space in plcae like homestay where u share space with local owner -only one thing i want to complain is just justy 1 restroom for upper floor -overall is very perfect and it was great time I slept in this trip(...
This hostel is one of tbe best i've stayed so far. We stayed for 4 nights and all the staff are excellent without exception. The hostel is almost.in front of exit 2 of Kita junachi jo subway which makes it very accesible to all locations you"ll visit. However. as in.almost all hostels, no lift is available and that will prove difficult for those with heavy.luggages jus...

Stayed here for 4n from 12-16 June. Booked a grand deluxe family room and we were blown away by the size of the room and the bathroom! The room itself has more than enough space after having 4 single beds in it. Our 4 luggages can be opened freely and with the huge amount of items we bought in japan, it is still relatively spacious. The bathroom itself boasts a jacuzzi...
i like sapporo excel hotel tokyu, primarily because i love hokkaido! :) it is just 4 minutes walk from nearest station (nakajimakoen). the hotel is very near nakajima park which is a very beautiful park. the staff are nice, and accommodating. there are convenience stores which are very near the hotel for travelers who are on a budget. it is a good place to stay if ...
I don't frequently review, but I'm doing it this time as I feel that this hotel is not as bad as some reviews pointed out earlier. I had given this hotel a miss due to the not so good reviews by other travelers, but had booked it last minute due to some technical issues that left me stranded with no hotel at Sapporo last minute. The hotel room is new, reasonable size,...
We took a bus from JR station not knowing they have a free shuttle from Odori Park. The fare was cheap and we enjoyed looking at all the stops. Using waze when we neared Jozankei the bus stopped outside Jozankei Hotel. We should alight here as Hana Momiji is opposite Jozankei Hitel. But waze says it was still 1.3 KM away. There was no English name Hana Momiji outside t...
Sapporo Prince is a beautiful hotel. It has its own hot spring spa (which is a famous recreational activity in the Sapporo area). The views from any room are magnificent. Because it is a circular shaped building, you are guaranteed a great view no matter where your room will be facing since the city of Sapporo is spectacularly backdropped by snow capped mountains! the ...
The room is very big compare to other hotel in Sapporo. It's near to subway station and Nakajima park, and also bus stop from CTS. It's very nice to stay here.
Stayed at ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose for 1 night, to catch up an early morning flight. The hotel is just about 10-min's walk to the train station, convenient stores, a "book-off" shop, and even a huge supermarket. The free shuttle-bus to airport is very convenient, and just a couple of stops away from downtown Sapporo by train. The staffs are very helpful and friendly, t...
I arrived in Sapporo via a free shuttle bus provided by a resort hotel at Lake Toya. The drop off point was just outside Sapporo JR Train Station and it was snowing heavily and temperature was below zero degree. It was impossible to walk on surface road. We got into train station and walk thru underground walkway. To our surprise, the hotel is right outside exit 21. ...
It is a hot spring resort in the small city of Jozanki which is about 1 hour by bus from Sapporo or about 1.5 hours from airport. The bus stop is just on the hotel door step. Check in and check out are fast and efficient. The Japanese style room has no beds. They put sleeping-matt (bed) on the floor with a nice cover; when the guests at dinner they prepare the beds, an...
- Location : I think it's not the problem because I take the shuttle bus from Sapporo which take us to in front of the hotel. Also you can take the bus from Sapporo to which the bus stop is very near to the hotel (around 3-5 minute) - Shuttle bus : They provide shuttle bus from Otaru park (in front of NHK building / Sapporo TV Tower) which depart 15:00 from Sapporo an...
The buffet style dinner and breakfast was good but not luxury. The price is a bit over for that. Though there was bus to pick us from Sapporo station and the staff was very kind and friendly.
The hotel environment is excellent, facilities keep well but getting old and need re-decoration. Room is much bigger than hotels in Sapporo, it is clean and comfortable. Shuttle bus stop can easily found outside the North entrance of Sapporo JR station, but it take 40min for each travel. Special thanks to Mr.Ito, he is an excellent and professional staff who help us...
I was surprise when I reached Chisun Grand Sapporo. The hotel is definitely value for money as it is located near the shopping district, the room including the bathroom was very spacious and the staffs were very helpful. Further there is no additional charges when I left my luggages at the hotel while I travelled out to other parts of Hokkaido (ie. outside of Sapporo)....
Hotel provides free pick up and drop off at Sapporo that makes transfer very easy. My family of 5 (include 1 child) took a Japanese room. The futon beds were very comfortable (especially in the cold winter), the hot spring was great. My child also enjoyed the pool. The food is average, caters to tour groups. Generally we had a good time there.
A great location near the airport bus to Chitose new airport and Toho subway. There are 3 sleeping room with accommodation like a kitchen gas stove microwave rice cooker etc. A nice bathroom with a small tub is very cozy.
The house owner informed us there is no free car park at the last minute - the date we arrived (he said there is free car park at the beginning and so we paid the rent). Although there’s a paid coin parking nearby, it’s related to the integrity. The room is not clean enough too.
Luxury hotels in Sapporo
We were on a 3 weeks holiday through Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo & Hokkaido). This was the best hotel we stayed in. Location is excellent. We came from New Chitose Airport by direct train (no transfers required, which is important if you have kids with you) and got off at JR Sapporo Station. The hotel is connected to JR Sapporo Station via the underground mall....

I can only think of few other hotels that has a more impressive service than this one (those are not in hokkaido and also come with rid...
The Novotel Sapporo Hotel was a nice place to stay. It's conveniently located near two subway stops and not a long walk to Suskino. There's a nice park behind the hotel and a couple of great little restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay whether on business or just on vacation.
The overall experience of this ryokan was amazing right from the start. They provide complimentary bus shuttle from Sapporo (near Okura Hotel) to the ryokan, but please remember to make advance reservations with the hotel for seats on the bus. Upon reaching the property, the staff was very welcoming and check-in process was brisk. So we were quickly settled into our ro...
Both me and my husband loved this place. Great infrastructure and conveniently located within walking distance of the beautiful Lake Shikotsu. We stayed here for 3D2N from 29/11/16 - 01/12/16. By this time, it was already snowing in Hokkaido. The hotel is probably not fully booked at this time as we often find ourselves exploring their lounges with nobody else in sight...
This is a spa & onsen hotel for local Japanese, staff do not speak English. The most important part is there is no bathroom inside the room, you can only take shower in the public onsen with others, may be is a not comfortable for a tourist like me. The view around the hotel is magnificent !!!!!
Everything is prefect but the pot and sauce pan is too old.
I had made contact with the owner in the weeks leading up to our trip to Sapporo so there were no hidden "surprises". The apartment was large and could accommodate two people quite comfortably. It had everything that one could need for an extended stay. The directions emailed to me prior were wonderful and everything went like clockwork. The streets were slippery with...
Very good location and clean. The sheets and towels were a little cheap quality, and the the kitchen would be difficult to really use. Those traveling with curious toddlers might want to note that it,s not totally childproofed. In particular, if you have a climber, note that there are not safety grates on the windows. We didn’t have any problems with our toddler, howe...
good location not far from fish market Susukino Odori can walk to everywhere. Clean room area bigger than hotel . Very valuable. But should have instruction for every equipment and remote control because they are all Japanese alphabet no English anymore .
The host provided very detailed information on how to use the electrical appliances in the room. We appreciate the fact that the host gave tips and guides to the various attractions nearby as well. The room is very neat and tidy and is really full of Hello Kitties. Nice place to stay in.
It claims that the house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but it actually has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We were little disappointed. The surrounding area of the house was great and wonderful. However, the house was not so clean. I would strongly suggest that they should clean the house and recheck the house before they rent it to the guest. In fact, the fee for cleanin...
near to nijo market n clean
House is clean, host is responsive. Near to Nijo market. But..... no daily cleaning and house looks small (Probably the unique jap way)
We love the concept. Kitchen is equipped with basic utilities to cook. Electronic bidet. The apartment is on the 8th floor. We rent in heavy winter, this we feel the nearest subway station Hosui Susukino is a little bit difficult to reach due to slippery road and heavy accumulated snow.
- No check in instructions sent with my booking. - Poor communication before and during the stay. Unanswered emails regarding check in for 2 days before arriving. - Unanswered phone calls while I was waiting for 2 hours out the front of the building for instructions. Did not even have the decency to return the phone call “after her dance class” instead emailed ...
very nice location and good price. sapporo is very high price. if you want to good price hotel. i recommend. but not clean blanket. T T
it was a very good experience and relaxing quality time with loved ones. though the hotel staff wanted to charge us the room fees what we have already paid online...so make sure you check your bill before you sign. otherwise there is not any unpleasant moments in the hotel.
This is a nice and clean studio apartment that has everything you need and is in a good location. There are lots of eating places and interesting spots nearby. The instructions to enter the apartment was very clear and easy to understand. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Sapporo. Just some feedback to the owner (1) put up some English instructions o...

Sapporo is easy to love. Despite its cold weather and gloomy snow storms the people here are very warm and welcoming.
its a nice place to visit in the winter. It has Snow. its kinda cold... but goes with the territory..
Sapporo is a beautiful city and we can have a lot of activities either with family or groups or business purposes.
Central Sapporo is only about 3 stations. If you walk along the Namboku line, the Sapporo and Susukino stations marked the ends of the Central Sapporo area.
Sapporo is a good stop over city if you want to see the other cities in Hokkaido. I went to Otaku and Norobeitsu from Sapporo.
Sapporo is a very small city (I mean the Tourist part). You can go to most of the touristic places within the 3 stations of Namboku Line (Sapporo, Odori and Susukino stations).
Great city with lots of shopping and dining to choose from. Locals are friendly and helpful too if you ask them questions
there's a lot of day trips available in sapporo. most things are quite spread out. if u want to visit all the main areas comfortable and add in 2-3 days of sking, then u'll most likely need about 7-10 days.
We will come back again because we had so much fun & we would like to like to go to the Sapporo snow festival.
Beautiful place with many places of interest and cultural to explore. A great place for seafood lovers as well
Stayed in the area of Susukino with lots of shopping and dining restaurants ! Good food and there is a shop called Tokyu Hands where we met a nice chinsee Japanese speaking salesman by the name of YANG , who was very helpful in helping us in our shopping and handling matters related to Tokyu Hands.
Sapporo is a small town with one main street for sightseeing and shopping. The distance from Sapporo station to Suskino is only 30 minutes walk.
This is a good town to visit if you have children. There are lots to do here. You can visit the chocolate factory, the wine factory and cultured temples.
The food is good, and the people are nice. It's not easy to drive around the Sapporo station area for the foreigner due to heavy traffic.
Sapporo is a place to visit definitely, but should be here in winter time I reckon. We went there on the summer season and there's not much happening.
Its a very nice city, and surrounded by many sattelite city that you can go to like Furano, Otaru, Hakodate, Asahikawa, Tomakomai, and Chitose
It's small compared to Tokyo or Osaka, and definitely much more spaced out. In terms of shopping in the major shopping arcades, there really isn't much difference from one Daimaru or Parco to the other.
This is the great city for sightseeing, hot spring and great seafood. We were there in mid July. The temperature was bit hot on the first day but the rest of the trip was between 16-22 degree Celsius.
After sweating from the humidity in Tokyo, I was surprised when I arrived to cold weather! Yet, it felt good.
Sapporo is good place to stay but can try to stay other place with 2 night 2 night so don need to travel back to hotel in the night time
During the snow festival, we must visit there once in your life. There were many snow scultures around Odori park.
Beautiful city, feel different from other big city in Japan. The people are more friendly, and the food is great.
You can't miss the city, with food, shopping. i will definately recommend the hokkaido university, 狸小路 and 成吉思汗 meet
It is easy to get around! Very friendly and accommodating people! But most of all the attractions in Sapporo are great!
Food paradise for those who love food. Fresh seafood such as crabs, scallops, sea urchin, you name it.
There are many interesting shops which I think are cheaper than Tokyo. The people are also generally friendlier & this place is less crowded compared to Tokyo.
We recommend staying 3 night at Sapporo city, 1 night at Otaru (visit ski resort), 1 night at Hakodate and 1 night at Chitose.
Great place to visit. Plenty of great food at reasonable prices. Plenty of shopping. Night life can be fun and relaxing.
Sapporo is a modern city in Japan, and you can visit Otaru on a day trip while staying in the city. The public transport is quite convenient, hence it is suitable for most people except old folks who are not mobile.
City filled with good hospitality for tourists ( much different from some southern cities like Osaka) not congested like Tokyo but compact easy accesible and slower lives with more relaxation, less competitive.
