Taketomi hotels & accommodations

This hotel is expensive but worth it. The hotel is just besides the beach which gives you complete freedom to enjoy moments with your loved ones anytime you wish. Be remembered that unlike certain countries beaches in Japan are available to general public thus you won't find sun beds or any such thing in beach arranged by hotel. You can hear the sound of the waves when...

Great staff, no doubts about that. poor food offer, no gym, no WiFi, the resort urgently needs a total restructuring, the room and facility status are far from what showed in the pictures and by the way the brand name is not Allamanda anymore. Agoda you should double check your offer in details before publish it.

We are a family of 5 who chose to stay at this resort for 2 nights. We read about the fantastic cakes and coffee and didn’t mind the older looking estate from the photos knowing it just went through a makeover. We knew we would be spending time outdoors as we had tons to do. Upon check-in, this unpretentious place did not disappoint. The owners are also the chefs who s...

She prepared us simple breakfast (toast, fruits, veg, egg/sausage; complimentary for those booked en suites), advised on activities, helped us on car rental, etc. We ordered dinner and were not disappointed. The Japanese style meal was delicately prepared, ample and delicious. We did not have a Jap mob...

The staff are very friendly and helpful! Although the near pier was closed by weather condition when we arrived, there is a free shuttle bus from the ferry to the hotel. The restaurant opposite the hotel is excellent food and drinks, one of their staff can speak well English! The staff dropped us off at the pier when we left. Will come back again for sure!

Staffs are very friendly, but they don’t really speaks any English so you must present yourself by body language, but they do there best to help you. You can rent their bicycle to go around the island, it’s very convenient, but the bicycle they offered are quite rusty. I didn’t reserve any meal plan with the hotel, I had my dinner and lunch at other restaurants.

This was an amazing little place, basically in the jungle and walking distance to the beach. The whole place is just begging to be photographed, and feels so relaxing. The owner was a very accommodating guy, he could speak some English and even accommodated for our gluten-allergic travel companion when he made the epic breakfast (which is pretty much unheard of in Japa...
