"There's nothing fancy about any of the spots I found on the island, but this one is clean and the staff is very friendly. Their restaurant is good and that staff is great as well - which is not an experience we found elsewhere on the island, where a number of folks wouldn't even serve us - they kept telling us they were closed (despite their posted closing times being 5 hours away). I'd stay here again if I found myself back in Tokashiki :)"

"Morino-san was an awesome host at Kerama backpackers - he picked me up from the port and took me to the hostel, which was a 7-10 minute drive from Aharen beach, and about a 5-7 minute walk from the Tokashiki port. He also drove me and the other guests to the beach in the mornings and back to the hostel in the afternoons. The hostel itself is really clean with all amenities that you'd need, and the nice perk of being able to use the washing machine as well. I went during the off season so the place was quite empty, which was nice but heard it gets really packed during the busy season, so would be a bit of a different experience, but I had a lovely time and would recommend it - great value for money!"

"It is an really amazing location, just in front of the Tokashiku beach(local beach). The hotel is a bit old school style, but the staffs are extremely nice and helpful. Suggest to book the hotel room with dinner and breakfast, because most of the restaurants are around Aharen beach, but not Tokashiku beach. Apart from this reason, the meal they provide is very tasty and full! Before we arrive, we think it might be a bit expensive for staying one night there, but actually is totally worth it! "
