Where to stay in Yangon
Yangon hotels & accommodations
I traveled to Myanmar with my family. We stayed in Yangon for 2 nights, flew out to Bagan, then came back to spend one more night in Yangon. Both times we stayed in Yangon, we stayed at Esperado Lake View Hotel. The hotel is nicely located, easily accessible to taxis where for about $2 you can get to downtown. The rooms were very nice - newly renovated with modern...
My dad and I stayed (not "couple") there for 2 nights to start off our trip in Myanmar, and what a great choice this was. We were SO impressed by the attentiveness of the staff there. One of them in particular (sorry, no name..) once helped us get a taxi, the driver turned out he didn't know where he was going and we ended up taking a different one later. Next day, the...
Well situated, beautiful architecture, wide rooms and nice bathrooms, friendly and efficient staff. This hotel is very pleasant and I used to spend some nights here when travelling in Myanmar. The price is high like in every five stars hotels in Yangon and the Emporia restaurant is not very good but the Hokaku (japanese restaurant) is very well known in Myanmar and I...
Rather expensive but this is considered one of the best hotels in Yangon. Hotel is currently undergoing some upgrades. Hotel has a few restaurants, Italian, Chinese, and a Bar. This hotel is located a few miles outside of the city which is good as the city is currently very congested. 5-10 mins to the city by car. Most places to eat and see are outside of Yangon city s...
We always enjoy any opportunity to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Yangon. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are pleasant, helpful and efficient, and the morning breakfast buffet is massive and delicious. Also the location in downtown in Yangon means that many sites and shopping outlets are within walking distance.
Having stayed in several Yangon Hotels previously, it was great to find this one. Internet works and is an OK speed. No power failures at all (not even 1!) The staff were the usual Myanmar friendly and helpful, (except the girl on the tours desk, a bit aggressive). The business services area, is functional, and everything works!! (if this is your first trip here, wor...
From the moment i drove into the hotel the feeling was completely different to other Yangon hotels & even hotels in developed countries. The space, tranquility, hotel layout (beside the largest lake in Yangon) & service, deserved special mention. Large impressive lobby. Room facing the largest lake in Yangon, clean, orderly, strong wifi ...... just nice for business t...
The Rose Garden Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to several sights, such as the Shwedagon Pagoda, the Kandawgyi Lake, the main railway station and downtown Yangon. My room was nicely aquatinted featuring traditional Burmese culture and styles and it had all amenities one could expect from a five star hotel. I particularly liked the small bouquet ...
I love this hotel. I have stayed in many Yangon hotels, but this one really has character and so do the staff. Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally pleasant and helpful including the house keeping, the chef, the restaurant and bar staff and reception. It will definitely be my preferred Yangon hotel in future . Thank you
Enjoyed the meals taken at night they were reasonably priced and the set Chinese Meal I would definitely recommend. The Chefs maintained a constant visual presence, especially when their International Buffet was served at week ends, and also during Breakfast. The room was very comfortable, and rooms could be requested facing the famous Sharaweddogon Pagoda. A sunset ca...
Loved our stay at the Melia Yangon, hotel entry was so grand and beautiful centre piece hanging from the ceiling, staff very professional and polite, our room on the 22d floor was very spacious with beautiful windows and views, bed was massive and very comfortable, breakfast was amazing with so many choices of tasty food. Hotel is across the road from Inya Lake where y...
We stayed in City Star during the Thingyan Water Festival in Yangon and it was an unforgettable experience! What we like about the hotel is its very strategic location in downtown with many tourist spots in walking distance. The staff are very friendly and accommodating especially Mr. James who helped us in many ways during our stay in Yangon. The food taste very good ...
Very good service. Def one of the best, if not the best, hotel in Yangon. Very clam and relaxing. Staffs are friendly and well trained. Good breakfast. the room was great, the TV is a little outdated, but I guess it is decent enough.
Even though pretty much almost all the hotels are overpriced in Yangon, Clover brand rips you off the least compared to the other hotels in Yangon. The Clover Plus is the newest addition to the Clover brand, so everything is nice and brand new. They even have key cards for room access instead of actual keys. I haven't seen other hotels in Yangon with this old technol...
Newly opened in the second half of 2018. Rooms were big (about 60sqm for the standard room) and it was thoughtfully designed with the traveler in mind. The bed was large and super comfortable. Easily one of the best hotels in Yangon to date.
The room is clean and tidy. We have a room facing to the Shwedagon Pagoda and we can see the light at night. That's very nice! Shower water is hot and big. Bed is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. The service is also very good. There's a gym and shower room on the second floor, so you can take a shower after checking out. The only shortcoming is the locati...
3rd hotel in Yangon, Myanmar for the past 1 1/2 yrs and this is the best hotel. It is near the airport, clean, new and modern. The roof top bar is one of the few good place to relax and entertain. Negative: the water pressure is low and the shower curtain used is not in line with the modern image.
It was very pleasant stay. Great location downtown close to most sight of Yangon, hotel was smack in Chinatown with market stalls around the corner-lots to see and buy. Of particular mention is the staff and service..... Of all the hotels I have visited (including world class 5 star hotels), this ranks as one of the best service I have ever experienced. From the check ...
This hotel is one of the best hotels in Yangon. All our group members enjoyed the stay and the breakfast was amazing!
Room has a little refrigerator including ice maker, hair drier, large TV, hot water despenser, hot shower. Breakfast was almost same everyday. Room was so clean than any same-rate hotels in Yangon. Hotel rate is getting high quickly in yangon. This inflated situation is not good for us, and for them. I wish the rate be going normal as other prices in Myanmar. Locatio...
We stayed at Hotel Accord for our last two nights in Yangon. The beds were super comfy, the staff very helpful and rooms very quiet at night despite being in the heart of a busy area. The location is great near Dagon Center 1&2 with a lot of street life and several restaurants right outside the front door. The Owner was often in the lobby helping guests and was very fr...
That was my fourth time came back to this hotel. I usually email directly to the hotel for my bookings because they give special rates to the returning guests like me. But this time i booked through Agoda because of my very last minute plan to come Yangon. Hotel Yankin is good value for money and convenient for me to go around different parts of Yangon.
booked the deluxe room with no breakfast online. When check in at the Hotel, they offer us with executive room which includes use of premium lounge which includes soft drink all day long and snacks and finger foods also we enjoy happy hour cocktails and any alcohol for two hours. All that for extra US$35 a day. The pool was great just wish that it was more closer ...
I been to Yangon many times and The Link is probably the best hotel in Yangon with the range of 50-100 USD. Hotel is new so all facilities are still in excellent condition, staffs were friendly and location is right in the city center. Only one issue is the selection of breakfast which is quite limited. Otherwise, this hotel is perfect stay in Yangon
After receiving a discount on the room rate through my rewards points, our room rate ended up being very reasonable, but even the standard rate is much lower than I was expecting for Yangon hotels. Having said that, maybe rates have finally started to fall as there is more competition and my stay having been during the low season, it's not like there were too many tour...
Had a suite room. Very spacious and divided into bedroom and lounge area with Sony TV in each room. Hotel is old style but clean and comfortable with wonderful staff. Breakfast is basic but adequate. For me, having a large supermarket next door was a big plus. Plus good rate to change money at hotel. Transport from hotel to attractions like the Shwedagon pagoda was che...
the best thing about this hotel is the central location. you can just walk around to see some major attractions of yangon. i'd say it has "traders location" without traders price tag. check-in and check-out was quick and easy. wifi worked. the room was clean and tidy. a bit small, but adequate for us. we didn't have breakfast as we were leaving very early, but a modest...
Very good and clean new room with facilities. Serene place. Free breakfast. Nice and attentive staff. Near Shwedagon Pagoda. Competitive price. High standard compared with other hotels in Yangon at the same price range. Highly valuable and highly recommended. ห้องสะอาด มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน พนักงานกระตือรือล้น ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส มีอาหารเช้าฟรี ห้องพัก...
Cheap places to stay in Yangon
November hostel is a very clean and well designed hotel. The staff is always paying extra attention for any needs you might have. Good value for money, very central.
Me and my friend stayed here for two nights. They arrange pickup from the airport. They welcome us with a drink, which for us is the best juice we ever tasted in Myanmar! Hehe. That no matter how tired we were, it always satisfy our thirst. Really. We arrived before checkin time so we waited on the rooftop of the building where you can have a sneak peak of Yangon. Room...
I stayed in a single room — it was very comfortable. The bathrooms were the cleanest of the hostels in Myanmar I've been to. Staff was super nice and helpful; they let me check-in early without extra charge. (I checked out at 7.00am, and overheard the staff tell a group of travelers that they could check in then. At 7.00am! A few other hostels charge for early check-i...
My friend and I stayed here. This place is amazing. It's super clean, the bathrooms are comfortable, showers have high water pressure and hot water. Basic but great breakfast served every morning. Beds are super clean. Living quarters basic: cozy in a good way but more spacious than I expected. Plenty of counter space and chairs to do work if needed. The best part was ...
This is the best hostel in yangon. I've already been on three separate occasions and every time I need to go through yangon i always go back. They are very reliable. The staff is so helpful and kind with everything from bus tickets to directions around the city. Their English is really good and improving. The beds are big and comfortable, and very clean hotel-like shee...
I stayed in a 8-bedroom dorm that I was really satisfied with. This room has no bunkbeds so everyone gets their own bed, which was quite big and comfy. You also get a fairly big locker and if you don't have a lock they can supply you with a key. Breakfast is fairly simple - eggs on toast, but it's enough to keep you going until lunch. The dining area is also quite nice...
Six floor with no elevator, a lot of natural day light, ventilation is good. Room is quite small, 4 double beds , two and two stick together, has no hangers, table or chair to put your stuffs. Has two fans, one broken, I was the only one in the room, if the room is full (4 persons dorm), will be extremely crowded as there isn't much space ,no air-con, ...
Stayed for 2 nights. In general, I must say that this place is quite a good one. Value for money is guaranteed. I'll list some items for those who want to check this place more. Pros: - Cheap - Spacious room even for the dorm type. - 2 ACs in my room - The evening staff can speak English - Generally clean. Begpackers were the one who are dirty and stinking. Cons: - S...
It was really great. I usually don't stay in hostels when i travel, because it's always uncomfortable. But coming to Yangon and checking coup,e of not expencive guesthouses i didn't like them and decided to check this hostel which had really good reviews. It was a good decision! Hostel is good located, it haa the best shower i had in Myanmar, spacious rooms where you a...
Probably one of the best hostels I stayed in in Myanmar. Welcoming and helpful staff, even with unusual situations (me dropping in a day early due to illness that changed my plans). Rooms and showers very clean. And downtown Yangon is a cool place to stay :)
Great location with staff genuinely trying to do a good a job. From reading discussions on other blogs, I would not recommend staying the super cheap, windowless rooms. If your room has a window, you should be satisfied. There is no hotel safe or even a store room, but leaving my passport, etc. was not a problem. After two weeks in and about Yangon, we surprisingl...
My wife and I had a good two night stay at this hostel. We were able to walk to many places in Yangon which was nice. The taxi rides are cheap to the temples if you don’t want to walk. The hostel was clean and they were always willing to help!!
I was spending 3 nights at Shwe Yo hostel during water festival holidays and had a good time in Yangon! The family owned hostel is a great place to be: Best location, very nice and helpful family and staff that speak good English and help you a lot with travel planning, things to do around Yangon and prepare the most delicious (vegetarian) food I had so far in Myanmar ...
The staff at this guesthouse is really extraordinary. I was welcome warmly, attended in the friendliest way, I was helped with further taxi/bus connection, I was given tips etc. The guesthouse is all new and in a perfect condition and a nice decoration. The rooms look much better than on the pictures of agoda! For a breakfast you can chose between a Western one and a M...
The room and bed is so clean, the owner or manager can spoke well English, great and best information they tried to provide. This is just in-front of the main street of China Town in Yangon, and so easy to get most of the places or street, vegetarian restaurant is just walking distance. Can take local bus from Sule Pagoda to airport is just 500 kyat that's so cheap!
I loved to stay here and in fact favoured it over a seemingly more luxurious Hotel which in my experience with Yangon Hotels usually has no charme and can be dirty and often has no comfortable seating areas ect. This hostel is much better value for money. The wonderful staff is helpful, kind and professional. They will not overwhelm you with suggestions to do things bu...
1st & foremost, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Had a long chat with the manager and he explained both the high standards of training while his love to be able to connect with customers, which explains the lovely atmosphere at 20th Street Hostel. Other travelers commented that the WiFi here was the best in Yangon. They allowed us to use the toilets and ...
Agga Guest House is a nice place to stay in Yangon. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is close to 19th Street where one can enjoy the nightlife. Yangon hotels are very expensive and this is one of the better options if you don't want to stay in a hostel. The rooms are spacious.
I don't usually recommend a place. The BaobaBed hostel China Town i stayed at is pretty new and very clean. The building is an antique which is amazing. They did i a good job renovate it yet also reserve all the wood doors and ceiling original. Have a very cozy common area, coffee and bar area. The staff is friendly, I really enjoyed staying there. if i go back to My...
Nice stay in this hotel. Location is very good and I found the rooms and bathroom very clean! Staff is very helpfull (booking bus tickets, giving direction and ways to go to places around Yangon). No window in the room but most of the similar hotel are the same, + you can't expect more for this price, as hotels in Yangon are quite expensive. They should improve the b...
there are three great points to recommend you to stay here. Firstly, employees are so kind and friendly. They will try to do their best to respond your request. Secondly, this is the cheapest hostel in Yangon and even Myanmar. So if you wanna save your money, this hostel is suitable for you. Finally, wifi connection is great. you can use line, youtube, and facebook ...
If you’re arriving late in Yangon - BOOK HERE! It takes so long to get into the city and it’s just not worth the hassle if all you need is sleep. It’s muchhhh easier to get to the bus terminal from here as well - so if you plan on landing in Yangon and heading immediately down south, this is also going to save you a ton of travel time. The bed is comfy (room had more...
I have travelled to Yangon many times and this hostel is in the best location near bogoke market, it is clean with quality linen bedding, the simple breakfast with fresh coffee is better than most, the restaurant and coffeeshop provides excellent cuisine and some of the best fresh coffee in yangon, the staff and guests add to the great vibe of this place, games availab...
We arrived Yangon by Train from Bago and this hostel is just 5 min walk from Yangon central railway station, which is in the very city center. Also the airport bus is just in front of railway station. Best to stay here if you plan to use train for traveling along the country. Just 10 min walk to Sule pagoda, which have many buses to go to everywhere in Yangon. Hostel...
We had a very pleasant stay. Beatyland II is one of the best value for money hotels in yangon. The staff's service was superb: very kind and most helpfull. They managed to arrange a taxi for us to quite a remote place which took then 2 hours to arrange and didn't charge us.
I was traveling in Yangon, arriving back from the countryside where I had picked up an illness. My Fiance and I arrived at Lotus not knowing what to expect, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is spotless, the rooms are good sized (bigger on the inside, smaller on the side with windows). The rooms are all air conditioned and the bathrooms are imm...
Nice location, great facilities, pleasant staff and accommodating management (owner is cool) BUT I found a bedbug, just one, but still enough to lead to the possibility they multiply and become a problem. The owner seemed very open to hearing about and addressing the issue, so hopefully the problem is eradicated before your stay. If you get bit in the middle of the ni...
During our trip to Myanmar we stayed there twice and both times we were very satisfied. It's a nice and clean place, close to Sule pagoda, shops, food corner, night bazar etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have free transport to the airport and when we arrived to Yangon they also picked us up from the airport (for free) which is awesome! Breakfast is good. B...
The Four Rivers Hostel is an excellent "home-base" to explore the bustling city of Yangon. The center of Yangon is just a short walk away, at the same time the hostel offers all the anemities needed to recharge the batteries (nice interior set-up, clean bath rooms, large beds etc.). Would definitely stay here again! We visited in late Dec 2015 and stayed for 2 nights ...
All accomodation in Myanmar is more expensive than the rest of SEA, so this is something to expect, however this place is absolutely worth it. Very clean facilities, comfy bunks with curtains, locker and reading light, and a decent breakfast. Security guard is the absolutely friendliest, and him, with the night clerk, saved my butt getting a taxi to the bus station in ...

This is my third time at the Merchant Art - this time for 12 days. It's my go-to hotel. I travel to Yangon for business and previously tried several pricier places - Yangon hotels in general can be quite pricey for what you get as compared to hotels in some other cities like Bangkok, which cost more, but are much classier and are good valuefor money. However, for th...
Brand new hotel - opened on Jan 1st 2017. Room is extremely clean, and well furnished. Shower Area / Toilets spacious. Staff are very friendly. Lobby is uniquely-designed. Good food - though the menu was slightly limited as I was one of the first guests and the full menu wasn't on offer at that time. Beside the hotel, there is a good thai restaurant, a very popular ...
I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay that is with reasonable distance to Yangon International Airport. It is no more overpriced than any hotel in Yangon. I would look into my own transportation to and from the airport as the hotel charged $17 per trip and a regular taxi would be about $5. Breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.
It was such an extraordinary experiences our stay at Vintage Yatch hotel in Yangon. From the three hotels that we have stayed in Yangon, this hotel fascinated us for its unique façade and facilities. It is really extraordinary not only for its façade and facilities but for also for the remarkable services rendered by its staff. A very notable services provided by their...
If you're planning an international vacation and are considering something different, then travel to Myanmar. Two recommendations are easy to make: (1) book your stay at The Loft in downtown Yangon and (2) hire tour Guide "Han" from Toursbylocals.com. The Loft is a funky and cool boutique hotel in the capital city of Yangon, Myanmar (formerly known as Rangoon, Burma)...
A wonderful new hotel near the airport. If you are in Yangon for a while and want to explore, it's probably not the best location because it's a bit far from the main attractions, but if you are coming/going from the airport or highway bus station it's a great hotel. It's new and the staff are really amazing. It looks like maybe they are doing some formal training prog...
This is one of my top choices of hotels in Yangon. It's almost to the standard of the main top hotels like Traders and the Park Royal but much cheaper - although it' still a bit on the pricey side. It is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly - a great hotel for both business and pleasure!
First, don't get confuse. There are 2 Clovers in Yangon. 1st is Clover Hotel and 2nd is Clover Suites. Both are located in Bahan area. Good Things about Clover Suites: 1. It is NEW! 2. There's a roof top pool and a gym which has a nice view of Schwedagon Pagoda. 3. Cheap and good food in restaurant located at level 5 (suitable for Asians - around 1,500 to 3,500 kyat o...
As a seasoned business traveller I can recommend this place without reservation. Excellent staff, facilities, and Suites. Its restaurant, bars, pool, gym, convenience store etc are very nice and well managed. Its in a very good area of Yangon with other restaurants, Embassies, bars and shops all near by. Please note that the suites in Residence 2 are far larger and m...
I tried several hotels in Yangon but at the end always come back to this one. The hotel is not too far from airport but not in the city center. Anyway you will always take Grab or taxi, so it wasn't an issue for me. The room is clean, and like most hotels in Myanmar, the staff are super kind and helpful.
An older hotel but has been maintained well. Offers good spread for breakfast. Room size is big and clean. Tuck at a quiet area in Yangon.
Stayed here one night before an early morning flight out of Yangon International. It's very close to the airport (which is why we chose it) so I wouldn't recommend if you want to be in and around Yangon city. Secluded and quiet (when they're not doing construction) with pool, gym, and spa. Really helpful and friendly staff. Dining was great. Buffet breakfast was good....
The good: 1. Spacious and clean room 2. Comfortable bed 3. Complete toilet amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste (Colgate and not some PRC brand) 4. Movie channels available on TV 5. Friendly and helpful staff 6. Breakfast spread was reasonable by Yangon standard The bad 1. At USD140 a night, you could get far better hotel in other cities like Bangkok ...
Away from the downtown hustle and bustle. Close to airport. Choose this place if you want a quiet spot to rest between your travels in Myanmar. We rented this hotel for the duration of our stay in Myanmar, so it was nice to have a "home" to get back to between our many trips around the country. Don't expect any fancy breakfast. They need to work on the water pressure a...
I always stay in this hotel when I come to Yangon. I like good location near by Airport, just 10 minutes. This hotel provides good facilities so that value for money.
Fantastic staff, supremely helpful, friendly and professional. There is not much to see in the near location but taxis and plentiful and very, very cheap. Wholly recommend this notel

a stunningly restored taste of colonial rangoon, the strand offers old world charm *and* world-class service. we had read complaints that the operation did not live up to the potential and history of the property, that rooms were tired, that staff were so-so, etc. we found none of this to be true: the strand is surely on the list of the top historic luxury hotels in t...
This is a brand new hotel in the heart of Yangon city. Traffic is rather congested to reach there. Anyway, this is common sight in most places of Yangon. The hotel is located in the middle of a lane and it took our driver quite some time to find the exact location on the first day. The entrance of the lane towards the hotel are lined up with street-food hawkers which ...
We have stayed at many hotels in Yangon and across Asia and this was such a surprise to us! The sleek and modern look immediately assures you that you are in a 5 Star hotel. The location is great with amazing views. The breakfast was very good also. But, the best part was the service/staff. Not only our family, but others who we met there were talking about how gr...

Real reviews for hotels
Noisy city--tons of honking--with dangerous pedestrian conditions but also vibrant, diverse and home to some interesting historical sites.
Yangon is good to travel for historic building and famous Shwedagaon Pagoda. It is very safe to travel alone or at night time.
most pleasant Asian city I have visited , the lack of motorbikes and tuk tuks make for much less noise and air pollution, the wide tree lined streets which are kept relatively clean are packed with interesting buildings and street vendors who are quick with a genuine smile
My two days were clearly NOT enough to explore Yangon properly. I think I'll come again - this time with my bicycle.
A developing city. Traffic congestion is high, but drivers are keeping to their lanes. Will be very interesting to Buddhists around the world.
It is a nice place that comes to life at night. If you are looking for a place that is fun to relax than this is the place for you.
Its a good starting point when arriving in the country, but you're better off spending your vacation in the more rural parts of the country.
The place is different in term of practices and customs, it is necessary for tourists to know the do's and don'ts in their chosen destination.
The traffic is nightmare. They should improve public transportation, particularly, subway, in order not to deteriorate the beautiful scenary of Yangon.
choose the month of November to visit which is after the rainy season and still quite warm. The traffic is bad so allow for some extra time when travelling around.
must bring: slipper, umbrella and translator is a historial city, with full of temple, taxi honks and crows.
The habit of chewing betel nut leaves and spitting all over the place, even the taxi drivers are disgusting.
I say again is the most dirtier place i come by in the whole of asian country, all is slum area even in the city, very bad impression for tourism.
still not developed, and are under strict government control. taxi fare should be negotiated, and all shoops close at 10 pm.
Yangoon is a busy town with unique culture. There are unique food, language, and traditional dress. You can find a man wearing traditional outfit with working shirt and slipper everywhere and it does look really beautiful and amazing.
Budget your time wisely. Traffic is Yangon is worst seen. Out of 8 hours of tour 4 spent in traffic.
traffic is pretty during rush hour and certain main access road, transportation and traffic rules could have been better, be careful align from vehicle as you would be getting off on the main road.
Tourist taxis could be rented by the hour or days. Thiis is cheaper and the airport transfer may come as free.
Expect the unexpected. Explore the markets, try the local food. People are typically friendly in Burma and i feel rather safe walking around.
When I first visit Yangon on this 04Jul 2015, I was just surprised to see this beautiful city. Nice clean & Green city, paved path, structured roads, friendly people, very safe, family friendly city.
I came to Yangon without any expectation. So I did not get disappointed. After seeing the pagodas, they make me wanting to come again.
Negotiation on cab fare is required whenever you hop on to the cab. The locals are friendly and approachable.
Yangon has almost all the infrastructure for receiving crowds of tourists. The people are generally nice and friendly.
People are friendly & polite, however will still recommend you to get a tourguide or friend to walk around the city, as there are so many story for the developing country!
Yangon is an old city under transformation. Many colonial buildings badly need touching up to exhibit its old glory.
I have been visiting Myanmar for over 30 years. In that time I have seen many changes. Yangon itself hasn't changed much, but with new interest in the place there is foreign money and new buildings and renovations happening.
Yangon offers a couple of attractions. The most amazing one is Shwedagon Pagoda. It is just breathtaking and requires a sufficient time to just go there and chill, watch people and enjoy being there.
Yangon is an interesting city with a lot of variety in terms of the types of people you will meet. If you are interested in five star travel with a lot of tourist attractions to see, you may be disappointed.
Poor infrastructure with too much cars causes a terrible traffic jam, like, Jakarta and Bangkok used to be.
Yangon supposed to be most develop city with MYANMAR. But the road infrastructure and transport system is way backwards with massive jams on most road l travelled.
