"We have stayed at many hotels in Yangon and across Asia and this was such a surprise to us! The sleek and modern look immediately assures you that you are in a 5 Star hotel. The location is great with amazing views. The breakfast was very good also. But, the best part was the service/staff. Not only our family, but others who we met there were talking about how great the staff was. For us, they made my daughter's 13th birthday one she will never forget. She felt like a princess. I was a Wyndham member in the States and this was my favorite Wyndham yet! This is now our preferred Yangon hotel!"

"The accommodations are basic and clean enough, but it’s the service that really stands out. When we got to Yangon as our first stop, having great service was key to starting the trip off right. They were so accommodating with check-in, making phone calls for us, helping with my friend’s lost luggage, letting us extend the room until 9 PM for half price (rather than pay full price, which many other guest houses would have done), and just general advice and other services. The location cannot be beat, and it’s high up, so we were able to get a good view of where we were. We didn’t try the breakfast, but I believe that it’s also basic. I’d recommend and plan to go back to stay there if I’m back in Yangon. "

"If you're planning an international vacation and are considering something different, then travel to Myanmar. Two recommendations are easy to make: (1) book your stay at The Loft in downtown Yangon and (2) hire tour Guide "Han" from Toursbylocals.com. The Loft is a funky and cool boutique hotel in the capital city of Yangon, Myanmar (formerly known as Rangoon, Burma). Reasonably priced, The Loft is fashionably decorated in a funky, cool style with super clean rooms, hallways and common spaces. The main floor restaurant and lounge is run by Chef Ludovic Carptuant and serves the best French cuisine outside of France. In room air-conditioning provided daily relief from the constant heat and humidity outdoors. Front desk, concierge and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. For two veteran business travellers who have seen a lot of hotels over 20 years, we are not exaggerating when we rate this hotel with 5 stars - as good as any top hotel we've stayed in."
