"Yilan train station was only a 5~8 mins walk away, and the night market is just across the road from the hotel, how awesome is that! They open till around 1am, and there's just lots of good food and shopping in the area. A grocery store is located nearby as well. Breakfast is superb too, a must-try is the 'lu rou fan' or braised meat with rice. You may also like to try the Su'ao cold spring at Su'ao, which is a mere 40mins train ride (or less) + a 5mins walk from Yilan station.
