“It was a room without windows, but it was good.”
The Agoda site sometimes has misses, so I went without any expectations, including the surrounding facilities, but the indoor experience was better than I imagined. However, since there are no windows in the room, I cannot recommend it for those who want to open the curtains and bask in the morning sun. In Taiwan, many hotels do not have bathtubs, but it's recommended for those who must have a bath. The bathroom had no windows, so there was some mold visible, but it felt relatively clean for a place without windows. There were no unpleasant odors from the drains at any time. However, even though the room had no windows, there were mosquitoes indoors that woke me up at night. The security is strong, so the risk of unlawful entry is low, but I felt that since there were mosquitoes in the elevator, they could follow someone in and enter the room. The path to the entrance has an atmosphere that you wouldn’t typically see in Japan, but I thought it was understandable if you considered you were abroad. By chance, there was also staff at the front desk who could speak Japanese. Since I was using it for business and paying on-site, it was good that I could request a receipt smoothly. That said, don't go in expecting the same experience as a Japanese hotel. There was no ice machine. However, if you want something, there are various shops around the hotel, so it's not inconvenient at all. With just a short walk, there's a station nearby, and there are plenty of taxis, so there’s no trouble with transportation. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, and places to eat, making it comfortable to spend time after finishing work. I would definitely like to use it again if I have the chance.
