“Family of 5 honest thoughts ”
I originally picked this apartment because I thought it was a private residence and the price worked well for my family on a budget. The pictures looked nice, but the website vs Google maps had different buildings listed. There is a DonQ, Family Mart, and gas station all within walking distance. The local beach (5 minute walk) left a lot to be desired. It smelled of sewage and had a lot of trash everywhere. We used the beaches elsewhere to swim. The apartment was clean, had a washer/dryer, mini kitchen, and some of the basic necessity items. The pictures listed must have been from other units because the colorful bedding and flowers were not in our rooms. While having 3 full size beds was nice, they were very uncomfortable, the pillows were flat, and there was some minor staining on the sheets/duvet covers. The couch was covered in all kinds of stains (it was covered with a blanket). There weren't trash bins outside for us, so all the trash (for a whole week) had to sit inside the apartment in bags. Kinda unpleasant... Having a washer/dryer definitely allowed us to pack lighter and keep up with the towels/bathing suit changes. There wasn't a hose outside (at least not that we saw), so washing off sand was a bit challenging. We did have to go buy 2 portable fans, because even with the 2 AC units, the apartment was hot. It also smelled a bit like mildew when we first walked into the apartment (they had literally just finished cleaning it). Overall, I think its an ok place to stay for the money. You'll have the basics and if you can sleep on a hard bed, you'll be just fine. If you want the finer things and perks of an all inclusive vacation, I'd suggest a resort.
