Fantastic!!”
I travelled to COMO Cocoa Island with a baby and wife. The hotel is so baby-friendly that we could enjoy everything without any worries. Ask the hotel provides a variety of fabulous foods and drinks especially the cocktail, dark chocolate martini, is one of the must try items there. The sea is unbelievably beautiful, the staff is very friendly, the room is clean and designed like you can feel ’Moldives’. Anyway don’t waste the fantastic opportunity to feel the COMO Cocoa world.

Amazing service, privacy, views”
Love the concept that there was only 30+ villas (compared to some islands which had 100/200+ villas). Aside from meals, you may not really see other guests for several hours, which is great for providing a secluded peaceful tranquil holiday! The house reef was so close to shore yet was teeming with sea life! The views and room were really top class. The only thing that beat all of the above was the customer service. The level of attention, accommodation, and service that the staff provided was one of the best that I’ve ever experienced! It was a pricey stay but it was well worth it!

Exactly what you expect - Paradise.”
Choosing from the multitude of resorts in the Maldives proved a little daunting at first. So many positive reviews, so many picturesque Atolls to choose from: you are spoiled for choice, especially if - like us - we wanted nothing more specific than a relaxing, quiet honeymoon in a beautiful setting. I can safely say that after visiting Como Cocoa Island, there is no need to even consider any of the other resorts in the Maldives. We were safely whisked out of Male Airport and into a waiting speedboat, and within 45 minutes we were shaking hands with Benjamin, the general manager who greeted us with fresh coconut water and insisted that anything we wanted, we need only ask. Como Cocoa endeavours to live up to this in every way: you truly feel like - unlike many hotels and resorts - "no" is an answer you will not receive when speaking to any staff across the resort's facilities. We had breakfast food that was not on the room service menu, we had extra portions of dishes that we particularly loved with no fuss, we could walk anywhere, swim anywhere and relax anywhere. Como Cocoa will bend over backwards to create your own private escape from reality, and they'll always do it with friendliness and sincerity. We stayed in the Dhoni Loft Suite, which was both incredibly spacious and practical. The balcony overlooks the house reef that demands to be explored with the free snorkelling gear, which we did frequently and proved to be one of the highlights of the trip: we saw a multitude of reef fish every time we swam, as well as daily sightings of small (harmless) reef sharks, stingrays and the odd turtle. The aquatic centre is open daily and provide you with a range of different guided tours, as well as friendly advice on where to go and what equipment to take. The single restaurant on the island was absolutely fantastic, offering an intimate setting with a varied and delicious range of global cuisines. The facilities are - without exception - clean, modern and inviting

Amazing Island ”
I can honestly say that our recent stay at the Cocoa Island resort has by far been our best holiday ever! We were only there for 5 days and this is our only regret, that we weren't staying there longer. From the amazingly friendly staff, to the wonderful fresh food, the BBQ night with lobster was just amazing. This place is paradise. We stayed in a Dhoni Suite which was just perfect, amazing room and felt like we were on our own private boat at sea (without the feeling of sea legs!) and being able to have our own private deck to sun bathe on and watch the world go by was just trully relaxing. To top this off being abe to step of the deck straight into the most turquoise green sea was just magical and being able to snorkle out to the reef to see the most amazing fish, was just unbeliveable. We loved every minute. We also loved the fact that there was a lovely pool that you could relax around should you wish with day beds on the island itself as well. We loved sitting in the bar playing games as well......scrabble, monopoly, dominios, it felt a world away from our normal lives and felt like we were on a magical desert island. (although the fact they have wi-fi throughout the island is a real bonus!) The beauty is that as there is only 33 villas on the island, it felt very secluded and not busy or overcrowded, and the fact that it is a short boat ride from Male, makes it incredibly easy to get too, especially for a short break like ours. We just loved our stay and were trully sad to be leaving this paradise island but already looking forward to being able to return one day to paradise, soon. Cocoa Island, you are the Island of our dreams.

Cocoa Island castaway”
What can i say? This has got to be one of the best, if not THE BEST beach holiday my husband and I have been to and we are the ultimate BEACH BUMS. Cocoa Island certainly delivered on many fronts; from the impeccable care and service from our personal butler, Muru to Gustini, the friendly guest relations officer, to the smiley lad who cleaned our villa every day. There are a 150 resorts to choose from in the Maldives but i wanted something private, personal and luxurious. With only 33 villas on this tiny strip of sand, privacy and quiet bliss was what we got. And the attention and care from all the service staff was spotless. My husband and i felt so spoiled. We booked a one bedroom villa and thankfully we did. It was huge. A spacious indoor and outdoor bathroom, a living room, plush bed and a big sundeck to lounge around in, spot baby sharks and crabs. We also spent inordinate amounts of time gazing out into that gorgeous open water and skies, the colour of azure blue. It may be a tiny island but there are plenty of things to do. We gym-ed, we spa-ed (SO GOOD!!), we used the hydroptherapy pool, we snorkelled every day and just took long walks around the island, catching sunrise, and sunset. It was incredibly romantic and peaceful and i wished we had more time there. There is only one restaurant, Ufaa but we weren't bored with the food choices available. My personal favourites from the lunch menu are the lobster roll, burger and soft shell crab jumbo roll. Trust me, i'm a picky eater and i love my food. For the dinner menu, you can't go wrong with jobfish, pasta (the alaskan crab risotto), and the themed dinner nights. The quality and presentation of the food from breakfast to dinner was always outstanding, truly befitting of a five star luxury resort. Cocktails were also done very well. As much as I try to avoid carbs, their homemade breads (presented with every lunch and dinner) are hard to resist.

As close to perfect as you can ever to get”
We travelled to the Cocoa Island Resort with our 10 month old baby, which we were a bit worried about given these sorts of places tend to be for couples and people looking for some R&R. However having the baby with us posed no problems. Even when we dined at the restaurant the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. It was just pleasant dining in the villa however, either inside or on the lovely patio by the sea, and given the fast service we never had to wait long for our food to arrive. There was also a free menu for infants and the chef would prepare any sorts of vegetables and so on in any manner we desired. It's the small things that count but that really helped as we are fussy about what our baby eats. On the subject of small things counting, the room had free Nespresso, which was fantastic. Of the four capsules provided two were decaf. When I pointed out that I didn't drink decaf, I expected them to bring two more capsules of the non-decaf Roma. Instead they brought two whole boxes of it. And when my wife asked for extra water, again they brought a whole carton of it! Always promptly, always with a smile and always with a few playful comments for the baby. It's impossible to describe just how beautiful the resort is. Even if you look at pictures of it on the internet it doesn't do it justice. I live in Asia and hence have been to quite a few nice islands and beaches but this has to be one of, if not the most perfect islands and beach I've seen. The go to a lot of effort to make sure everything is perfectly clean. And because it is relatively small, even though the resort was supposedly full, you don't see many people around and quite often can have the perfect beach to yourself. Every villa is a water villa and has easy access to the sea so going snorkelling is no problem. The food is good but as with everywhere in the Maldives on the expensive side. That's not even a gripe, it's a fact of life. Would re

Perfect getaway”
Low key and high quality, COMO Cocoa is a great place! The island is tiny and the number of rooms is small, but it provides all the service and attention you would expect from a big 5 star operation. Healthy food options galore and an excellent dive/marine activity centre. To be honest though, the house reef is so good you don’t need to go too far to enjoy the best of the Maldives!

So close to perfect in every way”
Cocoa did almost everything perfectly. Super friendly, hard working and efficient staff. Clean & nicely decorated rooms. Manager who remembers your name and check to see how you are doing. I can see why Cocoa ranked #1 on Tripadvisor. I have never seen fruits being cut and presented so perfectly at breakfast in my life. And to this day I still don't know how the server remember my omelet fillings order correctly(I asked for 6 fillings and I spoke fairly fast too) without writing it down. As the Manager said, this island has a certain magic that drains stress out. I have never felt so relax and close to nature like this before. Personally, I think this may not be the place to stay if you have hyperactive kids or you are shopaholics or party animals or workaholics. But it is an ideal place for people who wants peace and tranquility.

Ideal Honeymoon Spot!”
My wife and I spent our first week of our honeymoon at Cocoa Island. We both agreed that this place is what our idea of paradise is like. Stunningly bright blue/green waters, beautiful over the water rooms, kind staff that will do anything/everything for you. We loved how intimate the island was. With a smaller amount of rooms available, we really felt we had the whole island to ourselves at times!

Total bliss!”
We spent 7 nights at Cocoa Island Resort following the good reviews on Trip Advisor. The place did not disappoint. Our villa over the water had us so close to the beautiful marine life. It was only a short swim from our room to some amzing reefs, coral and fish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served up delicious, top notch food! Highly recommended.

The perfect holiday”
Excellent resort, it is no wonder it was rated #1 on Tripadvisor. I never regretted a single moment choosing to stay here. Service was fantastic from the moment I was met at the airport, right up to departure. It was just the quiet getaway that I needed. And the island itself is beautiful! White fine sand, coupled with waters in various shades of blue, and not a piece of litter in sight! Waking up in the morning to the sight of baby black tip reef sharks and stingrays right outside my room added pleasure to the stay. The COMO Shambala spa rendered professional services and I was very pleased with my masseuse. I would definitely come back for more!! Kudos to Felix and team!

Expensive hotel with breathtaking views”
wife and i stayed at cocoa island for our wedding anniversary and we were simply amazed at how beautiful it was on the island. the staff were all very friendly and the service was always above average which made a real difference. the food was very good and fresh, something that is very important to us! a big plus for the hotel is the fact that you can snorkel right behind your suite and there is an abundance of soo many fish - we even got to swim with a sea turtle! it's an absolutely amazing place to visit...quite pricey so its probably a place i would go to only on certain occasions (not with family or kids)

Perfect honeymoon ”
Room: The Dhoni Loft Suite was big and extremely comfortable. Very thoughtful but chic interior. You can jump out of every balcony straight into crystal clear water! Staff: Immensely helpful with a personal touch. I like their high staff to guest ratio. Resort: Breath taking island, only 30 minutes speedboat pickup from the airport, very private island with only 30+ rooms so no annoying tourists, great marine life for snorkelling, the spa/massage was excellent. Best resort i've ever experienced in my life!
