Great Resort Option”
Amazing resort experience. Food quality is amazing and is only surpassed by the staff and service. Every single person on the staff here I encountered was top notch and helpful. Again, the food and drinks are unbelievable. A bit pricey relative to being in the Philippines but I imagine it is the same if not cheaper than other resorts in the areas. I'm Canadian and the food prices were identical to being at home. Pools were very nice and clean. They also were good temperature and must have had the perfect amount of chlorine as your eyes didn't burn under water. Fast little water slide too. Every morning I was up and out of the room by 430(the days are always short in the Philippines) and I hung out at the private beach for an hour to catch the sun rise. Also cool to be able to connect to WiFi throughout the resort, even in the ocean and definitely along the beach and pools. Amazing views and the white sand is some of the finest I've ever experienced. They are constantly raking the sand, it was so nice and fine like powder in some areas. We took advantage of the free paddle boarding and kayaking each day... again, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful for such activities. If you are staying longer than a few days or have lots of money to burn there are many activities the resort can line up for you to keep you busy. Lots of motorboat activities and even seadoos. We mostly used guest services to arrange rides to activities just off of the Mactan island such as SM Seaside Mall, Ocean World and Anjo World Park. Also unlimited free water bottles is nice. Feel free to use the ice as well, it won't get you sick. Cannot wait to come back.

This is an alternative smaller hotel. The staff keep the place exceptionally clean. There is a Kiddle Corner with desk activities and toys if kids want to take a break from swimming. Do bring beach toys. If you did forget, they do sell a bucket and shovel in the gift shop. The first pool has a shallow kiddie pool area--right by the restaurant. A 2 swing swing set us by the left side of the beach. It also has a fun double slide. There are rooms facing the sea but we opted for a room on the 3rd floor for a good deal. The rooms are not that far from the beach...unlike the bigger resorts. Do try this place if you want a cozier resort. For breakfast, we opted out the buffet as we just take our breakfast light. They had very good French toast!--Do try!

The hotel complex is rather small and quite intimate so it feels safe for our friends that bring young children. The driveway to the lobby is quite long and location is basically in the middle of nowhere so the guest will have to get grab/taxi to get in and out the complex. But taxi/grab pricing is affordable so it’s not a problem and the restaurant serve reasonable pricing food as well. Staffs from the security to check in counter, housekeeping, restaurant, and pool staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Room: Room is clean and quite spacious with semi hard but very comfortable bed (we find the bed more comfortable than Bluewater Maribago’s bed). From our experience, we found that most hotels in Cebu have hard bed. There’s enough electrical plugs dotted around the bedroom and spacious working desk/make up table with a good size mirror. We have a corner room so we have a balcony as well. The in room dining pricing is very reasonable (we attached some photographs). The standing shower is inside the bath up, there’s mold on the bath up but water pressure is strong. There’s standard bathroom amenities and no shaving kit and vanity kit but we brought ours anyway. Food: They have 1 restaurant (la marina) and a bar. La marina is where they serve good array of breakfast with Filipino dishes and desserts, pancake, omelet and noodle station. The staffs at the food station are all nice and friendly. We ordered some lunch here and food was not bad for resort standard. Supreme Halo halo was really big and perfect to share between friends. Although Mac and cheese was not as cheesy and quite watery😆 Fried rice portion was huge and a bang for the bucks! Gambas al Ajillo was tasty and yummy. We had mango and chocolate cake and it was really good and not too sweet. Luna bar opens at 4pm to midnight, the bar staffs are all very nice and friendly like the rest of the resort staffs. They have Happy Hour on selected cocktails and mocktails daily from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at PHP

Location: 30-45mins ride from the airport. Were able to book a Grab/Taxi when we checked out. We liked that the location is away from the residential area, that you can literally relax from the city’s noise. Room: Although the room I booked doesn’t have a view, but it’s very spacious and squeaky clean. We also appreciate that the staff made an effort to decorate our room to welcome us on our wedding anniversary. All the things listed in Agoda are available in the room. Robe is by request. Food: Everything we ordered during our stay is delicious (Nakakasira ng diet 😅). We ordered their BBQ platter on our dinner date, I’m sure the seafoods they served are fresh, I and my husband loved it. Their sliced Ube cake is 1000/10 🤤 Super sarap! Kahit di ako mahilig sa cake, nakipag-agawan ako haha! Yung Breakfast buffet naman nila has a lot of options. Plus points pa na may available silang Congee during our overnight stay 😍 Staff: Everyone is so helpful and warm. As innnn.. Amenities: Their beach has white sand. Nakaka-sad lang kasi under renovation yung parang dock nila when we went there, and it’s lowtide kaya we weren’t able to enjoy it 🥲Kaya sa pool nlng kami. There’s also a free use of paddle board and kayak, na di din namin natry kasi nga lowtide (not their fault obviously). Each morning, I woke up to breathtaking views of the ocean, which set the tone for a day of relaxation and enjoyment. The dining options at Costabella are excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes that cater to different tastes. The pool area is a haven of relaxation, with comfortable loungers and attentive staff ready to assist. However, I did encounter a minor hiccup during my stay. One day, I had to call housekeeping three times to get my room cleaned and restocked with Nescafé. This was a bit frustrating, especially considering the otherwise high standard of service the hotel maintains. Morevoer water activities are overpriced. Despite this small inconvenience, my overall experience at Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel was wonderful. The serene atmosphere, combined with the luxurious accommodations and excellent facilities, makes it a fantastic destination. If the minor service issue I experienced can be addressed, it would be absolutely perfect.
