We booked the Shankar Hotel for a few days prior to our departure from Nepal. We had stayed in a few different places during our stay and the Shankar was the best! Their facilities are immaculate, their staff are professional, kind and knowledgeable, the room was not overly spacious but adequate for our needs. Our breakfast was included and the freshness and variety wa...
This hotel is slated as a 5* hotel but is a medium 4* they lack good service and the hotel needs an update to consider itself 5*. The rooms are small but the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms were very good. Breakfast was very good but they did not offer an egg station. The Indian/Nepali food was very good! It is convenient for walking around Thamel and ot...
It was my second stay in Royal Penguin-2 and I will stay here again on my next trips to Nepal. I’d say the hotel is really the best one in Kathmandu - you get more comfort than in some 5-star hotels here and prices are very reasonable. Nice new rooms with very comfortable bed and all necessities, staff always ready to help, and their restaurant is… wow, you just must s...
spent 2 nights there after arriving in Kathmandu, then after 2 nights in Nagarkot hilltop village came back to Shambala. By far the best hotel I stayed in while in Nepal. Breakfast was 1st class as was the staff, also comfortable clean room. After returning from walking around the chaotic streets it was so nice to have a relaxing massage in the Spa followed by dinner in...
I traveled to Nepal with my best friend and stayed at Kantipur. I remember we were so happy about taking a nice shower and tucking ourselves in the bed that had an electric blanket. We were also provided with hot water rubber bottles which kept us warm. The hotel's architecture is something we could not get over, so beautiful! Everything was super clean, the staff was ...
very comfortable, staff friendly, on third visit were upgraded to Suite room the breakfast was very good, attended the barbeque, a lot of variety of food for meals transport was easy to get to go to town , Dissapointed that hotel did not make arrangements to pick up or sent to airport unlike other hotels in Nepal. Would recommended this hotel to people who can a...
We stayed in a lot of hotels during our time in Nepal. This was by far the best of any. The value for the money is simply amazing. Our entire time in Nepal was marked by unfriendly hotel staff regardless of the price of the room. Avataar is beyond friendly, even the security guard was kind. I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff is. My only regret was that we...
i spent my last night in nepal at the katmandu guest house and had a good night's rest in this unexpected splendid oasis in the middle of thamel's din. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. initially i was to be in an old small room on the first floor with a tiny view of the garden - i had just arrived from pokhara and was told early in the morning at 9.00am t...
Superb treatment from the staff. Room was also excellent. The restaurant and laundry service are bloody expensive. We visited 10 hotels in Nepal and this was the only one where we did not have free Wifi connection. A place to relax in the middle of Khatmandu's chaos.
Dwarika's is the best hotel in Nepal, no question. Consequently, it is extremely expensive by Nepalese standards. Agoda price were a third less than the rate quoted on the website and it was roughly. It was well worth the splurge. The hotel itself is beautiful, the evening bbq perfect, it's close to the centre but a peaceful haven and the only down side was that the po...
The Annapurna was the best hotel in Kathmandu city when I was doing fieldwork in Nepal in the early 1970s. But it was beyond my means, so I could only appreciate it from afar except for a few meals in its excellent restaurant. When I had an opportunity to return to Nepal, I booked the Annapurna at least partly from nostalgia. It was ok, the restaurant was still exce...
I booked Dwarika's resort for my parent's recent visit to Nepal. And i must say they had the best experience in both service and location. A special mention for the food prepared there. It's unbelievably fresh with perfect taste. The staff is warm and welcoming. I'm glad i booked this resort!
Great end to a grueling 10 day trek in the Annapurna circuit. By Nepal standards not cheap but overall extremely satisfied.
It was an adventurous journey to the top of Raniban Retreat paired with the amazing nature sights and complete relaxation. It is such a unique idea to choose that location to set up a hotel that I would list it as the second best thing in Pokhara after the views of Annapurna. Really good hospitality and the food is too good. I will visit Nepal again only to spend anoth...
We stayed this hotel 3 nights. Actually we booked only one night but decided to stay longer. All of staffs are very nice and kind! We will visit here again if we have chance to visit Nepal again!!
it's worth staying this hotel for several although the price is much higher than others and it's far from Kathmandu. the view arounnd this hotel is fantastic, the service of staff is very good, and the equipment in the room is better than most of hotels in Nepal. But there is no other choice for dinner except in the hotel.

i've been lots of times in nepal, and this hotel will be my loveliest place now. this one is really cool! i had a big balcony, extra-comfortable, bright room with a large led tv and 24-hours electricity/wifi (that is really hard to find in nepal), comfortable gym with a toe cam and sauna... well... everything was very comfortable. in their restaurant (also with ...
Nothing compares to this facility in the southern city of Bhairahawa, Nepal. Went there with a family expecting much because of the write-ups about it. I was not disappointed. Having spent a few weeks in homestays, tea houses and budget guesthouses in various parts of Nepal, I'd learned to appreciate the little things we take for granted such as heating in winter, unlimited hot water and power. Now this may sound basic but it really felt like a luxury at the time! Stepping into the Radisson, I was greeted by porters, an impeccable lobby, a s...
First time in Kathmandu and Nepal. Overwhelmed by the entire country and people. Staff at Mulberry were very polite, helpful and simply cannot do enough for you. Very good breakfast choices, and the food was super tasty and fresh e...
Loved our stay t the hotel. Can't complain anything about the hotel. From the staff to facility to food it is the best property in Nepal as per my experience. Unlucky for us that due to extensive cloud we were unable to witness the Himalayas from our room balcony. But hope to be there once again in near future.
we stayed in this hotel for a night and was the best hotel we have stayed in nepal in terms of the facilities, comfort level, and interior. staff are very helpful, the night manager is very knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions on the activities and tips for the next trip. it is only a few minutes walk to fewa lake and the restaurants. there was nothing to compla...

We stayed at this hotel twice on our Nepal trip. We travelled as a family of three adults and one baby. The staff were great and always tried their best to make sure that our stay was perfect. We highly recommended this hotel and we will be back next time we visit Nepal.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Maya Manor hotel. I was a week in Nepal fro work, and after a day travelling in the dusty traffic and visiting various fields it was nice to go back to a quiet place, away from the bustle and noise of the streets, but still pretty central. And not too far from the airport. I had a room on the 6th floor, it was huge for me, as I was trave...
Their behaviour was very nice with us.It felt like we were in our own home!!If we visit nepal again will surely go to this hotel.
This place is quiet and peaceful with fantastic views towards the valley and mountains. You can also see Everest when the sky is clear. To name a few, Moona has been so sweet and...
We were tired of bugs and cold showers so we decided to stay at Dahlia for a while. It's really like a good European hotel. Very clean and fresh with a big breakfast and nice dinner. A proper hotel. We also left our stuff with them when we went trekking. They had a guard taking care of the bag and everything felt really safe. It is a bit more expensive for being Nepal,...

There are two tuki resort one is a new building having deluxe room and above and other is old building having standard room. The two buildings are facing opposite to each would request any one who is booking a room their to thoroughly check the rooms and in which hotel buildings are they going to reside.
The manager Samil and Prem went way beyond their duties to ensure that my stay at the hotel was a stay that I would remember for years to come. From organising trips to information of the local area, their knowledge was exceptional. The staff at the hotel were also very, very polite and helpful in all matters and were also friendly. I was made to feel part of the Th...
If you are traveling on a budget and you want to explore Durbar Square, I highly recommend Wanderlust. Excellent value considering the location. WiFi was strong and reliable. Bed was sufficient. Hot water in the bathroom although I had to wash myself with water from a bucket (small inconvenience). Easy and reliable laundry service. Very friendly and helpful staff. The...
This homestay is located steeply downhill from the main road in Swayambu, next to a filthy stream. There was a sewer odor in the house. Although advertised as a room with private bathroom, my large room had only access to a rooftop shared toilet (plugged up most of the time) and cold shower. There was no access to a sink, so all toothbrushing was done over a drain in ...
The location is perfect, I meet very nice people, had a lot of fun but they are re-modeling, so if in some point you want to rest... it’s not going to be that easy! Taking that out everything is perfect and they have a very nice view to the lake!
This is for me, the best option to stay in Bhaktapur: in the middle of city center, close to a lot of pagodas and temples, simple but good breakfast, and cheap... Next time I'm going to stay here again!
Superb Location. Clean with good showers (and hot water!). Staff are very shy/not communicative (perhaps because of poor English?), was difficult to get any information from them (transport, tours, treks, places to eat etc. They had no clue). We arrived at 9pm on the first night and asked if there were places to eat to which they responded that everything was closed an...
Very nice hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. Always ready to arrange tours and reserve transport. Very good breakfast place across the street, Himalayan Cafe We enjoyed our stay very much Mogens and Lone Denmark
Bed a bit small and the kitchen needs more essentials. Lovely rooftop. With great views We had a lovely time in a nice neighbourhood 8minutes walk from the Boudhastupa.
Great vegetarian menu, amazing people and a warm hospitable vibe, I couldn't have asked for more. Before, after or even during (if your flight is cancelled ) trekking, Hotel Yog provided a relaxing atmosphere where you felt at home and free to be yourself. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the area and are always willing to help you with your plans or trave...
My friends and i stayed in the hotel, two days before and two days after our trek. We booked a room for 3, which come with a nice attached bathroom. We didnt know that our booking comes with free breakfast, until the owner asked us, why arent we having our breakfast? And we are glad he asked! Breakfast was nice with free flow of coffee/ milk tea. Hotel staff are friend...
I found Shree Tibet on-line and after a very simple e-mail confirmation I was picked up at the airport by Shree's driver, Surendra, at midnight, and taken to Shree Tibet. I was greeted by prayer wheels in the entrance and the warmest staff who had a room waiting. I walked into my large room with double bed and ensuite. WOW. Was it 4 star no, but was it instantly home,...
staff is kindly. little clean. good location. january is cold season , so many people have flu.
first time to kathmandu and the staff offered a pick up service so it was cool, i was glad to meet the driver at the airport and asked him to drop me first to the tourism board to get my trekking permit (it was almost closed). he even lend me rupees as i havent exchanged my currencies to pay the permits. the last day i stayed i got to meet the owner, he was really frie...
The hotel is centrally located close to all the necessary amenities like many restaurants, walking distance to Katmandu Durbar Sq, the staff and the owner Mr Hritik is an honest and friendly person and very often he walks with us to the sightseeing place to show us where it is. Highly recommended. Best Value for our money. You will not regret.

I can truly recommend staying at this place. The people are super friendly, it is very clean and super close to the center. In the morning one can eat breakfast for cheap and the food is really good. They are very uncomplicated.
Enjoy the real Kathmandu up in the hills away from the worst dust and pollution of the city. The family is nice and the mother makes amazing dhal bhat! Recommended!
The bed is comfortable. Toilet is very clean and they provide hot shower, which is all you need the most after few days of trekking under very cold weather. The place is quite remote from the main street but the lake view make it worth. Never fail to locate nice and cheap/average price restaurant around this hotel area. The quilts were found stains. Staff took immedia...
i stayed two nights here when arriving in porkhara and another one night here after seven days trekking, it's very clean and comfortable, big beautiful courtyard and big soft bed and hot water for shower, breakfast is very good. most important, staff are very nice and helpful, they book tourist bus ticket for me. if i come to porkhara againt i will still stay here.
our room (no.5) was very nice and clean also very close to lake. good value for money really. room is really insect proof however this all goes in vain because there is a huge gap between door and floor that is enough for a fat rat to pass through. mosquitoes are frequent visitors and also roaches from outside of there is any left over food. overall its a really pleasa...
I really love the location of this hotel. It is not on the main road of Pokhara , Fewa Lake.... it's about 5 minutes walk to the main road where all the cafe's and shops are located at . This makes the hotel a really peaceful place and not noisy at all. Perfect if you are trying to chill in Pokhara! It is also near the organic cafe which serves really good food , near ...
Location is great as you have straight feelmfor Nepal. Staff is very friendly will help you with anything you need.Rooms are clean, nice mattrases, great bathroom.
I stayed at Hotel Himalaya Yoga in Thamel, Kathmandu for more than a week. Initially, I only booked for 2 nights. I came here because of a positive review from a Kathmandu Guide book. I extended my stay after the first 2 nights. I've been staying in this hotel for a week already. Will stay for a few more days before I head to India. These are the good things abou...
Best place in all of Chitwan! The owners are soooo friendly, beds are clean, rooms are awesome little jungle cabins. Great hostel environment to meet awesome people in.
Brand new facilities and very clean rooms. Great shower and bathroom. A safe place to stay. Very nice staff and they spoke great English. The included breakfast was very good with an Omelette or Boiled Egg, Tea or Coffee, 2 Slices of Toast with Butter and Jam and 1 Banana. The Hotel also has a good restaurant just around the corner. We were able to leave our excess lug...

We have stayed in Yatri in our resent trip to Nepal. We took two rooms for ourselves and parents. Rooms are big enough, clean, pleasing ambience. Staff is very polite, humble, warm and welcoming. The Summit Hotel exceeded my expectations for hotels in Kathmandu. Nestled among other hotels and windy roads you would never expect the Summit Hotel to have such beautiful grounds and gardens. It is peaceful within the hotel grounds and I felt completely safe there. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and just an overall great experience for my first time in Nep...
Hotel Tibet International is one of the best hotel in Nepal. You can book this hotel with a good rate through agoda. The room is so huge & clean. You can easily walk to the UNESCO site the Boudhanath stupa. The staff were very very helpful & extremely nice. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit. You will not regret staying there.
I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel had recently been renovated and is modern and smart. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is good - there are many restaurants in the hotel and up the road and it is a short walk from Thamel. Good breakfasts.
The rooms are far enough from any road that you won't hear any road noise, but the hotel is just a short walk to the lake and the main tourist area. It was quite chilly during our visit (January), and the heater function on the air con unit worked great. The WiFi was decent for Nepal and the breakfast selection was good. The staff all spoke excellent English and wer...
Very nice Hotel in Pokhara. We ended up in the Honeymoon Suite, which is very spacious, clean and well decorated. Check in was nice thanks to welcoming staff. Nice terrace on top floors. In the room: clean and hot water. Bed was very comfy. Bathtub was supposed to offer jacuzzi and hydraulic mechanisms (big asset for the room), but it was not working and the hotel d...
Every now and again, you have the privilege of staying somewhere special. I could go on and on about the standard of the rooms, the food, the peaceful garden and above all Suraj and his team of staff. I have travelled to many countries in my 50 years, from some wonderful Youth Hostels in New Zealand to 5 Star luxury Hotels in Venice, Vienna and South Africa, small fr...
My wife is very choosy about the hotels and i am very cheap. 😂 So its always tough for me to book a hotel meeting all the expectations. This time it was fulfilled. The room was big enough, the balcony was good. You can see the world peace pagoda and the mountain and the cloud touching the mountain. You can easily spend a whole day just sitting there with a cup of tea ...
If you’re looking for a hotel to stay in Boudhanath, Kathmandu, LOOK NO FURTHER THAN HOTEL GHANGRI. Perhaps you feel that you should stay right around the stupa. After my 18-day stay, I would advise against it. Ghangri Boutique Hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the stupa and in exchange, you will have an AIR CONDITIONED ROOM, NO MOSQUITOS, NO BARKING DOGS AT N...

Our stay was very relaxing. The pool was awesome, one of the best in Nepal. Very clean and refreshing. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had great views. The shuttle to and from the hotel to town was great, no need to pay for taxis.
The staff were friendly and helpful, food was wonderful. I had a nice view from my room which had lovely furnishings and was very spacious. Great location! My only grievance was that the courtyard does not exist as per the photos, it’s actually completely empty and looks like it has been for a long time now, which was such a shame as this was a big selling point for me...
The Arts hotel the best hotel in Themal are becouse bear of all thing (ATM).Bank.shoping.and also the staf are very very freindly and the General Manger to solve any problem imdatly. The room its very very clean and the service room also good last when you came to Nepal and stay in this hotel
This is probably one of the more luxurious places to stay around Fewa lakeside area. It has a pool, sauna, and spa, which looked fairly nice. Pool is pretty much indoor. Room was large and well-appointed, and had a nice balcony. I think they were in the process of doing some renovations during our stay, but it wasn't disruptive. In fact, it was one of the more quiet ho...
when we entered into the resort, we thought, what kind of place is this. but when we went towards our room, by seeing the walkway, lots and lots of trees and lush green surroundings, felt really relaxed. this hotel is away from the noise pollution of traffic and you can enjoy your stay with peace. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I am going to book myself for the sa...
We booked two types of room, the forest view rooms are the lodges beside the main building, the interior is practically the same, but there will be no view of mountains esp when u get the room on the 1st floor, 2nd floor is ok, rooms are also comfortable. The Mountain View rooms located on the main building and when the weather is nice, u can see the sunrise from the b...

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Park Resort. We were exceptionally supported by , one of the front desk staff. The facilities are stunning, especially in contrast to other places both here in Chitwan and across the country. We loved the restaurant and encourage you to try some of the Nepalese food a la carte. Our favorite dishes in Nepal came in the simple, but we...
An oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle Kathmandu, great atmosphere, great decor. 3 great restaurants in the adjustment garden/Art Gallery. And we are also very glad to rediscover the great art of hotel concierge that's lost in a lot of 5 star hotels, in Baber Mahal Vilas Kathmandu. A superb experience. Thank you so much.
We really enjoyed our stay at Barahi. The staff was very professional, the guides were good and complex is very peaceful and nice. The food was also quite tasty. It is, however, very expensive for Nepal and they are definitely charging high for the wine in the restaurant! Great stay overall, though.
Pavilions was everything my wife and I were hoping for. The beautiful natural setting, tucked away in a small village, is a peaceful retreat. The design is tasteful, with wood, stone, slate and other natural materials creating a rustic-elegant effect. Our room was huge, comfortably furnished, and provided us a private view of the snow-capped mountains. The pool was col...
My father and I got many complimentary the other hotel in Nepal could not give us. Free airport shuttle, snacks during the day, and even free espresso because we checked out too early. If we ever have a chance to return to Pokhara, Pokhara Grande will absolutely be our place to stay.
We arrived on time but waited for two hours because the local agent of Agoda in Kathmandu didn't make the booking/reservation on Crown Plaza's site. Crown Plaza was saying that they cannot view our booking coz it was not appearing in their system. We waited and they served us with refreshment while waiting. The view outside the hotel is breathtaking. Plus the interiors...
one of the best experience in Nepal. Staff is superb supportive and polite.
So many pros. Only one con really. The USD $20 per person one way to the airport is ridiculously expense. Should be more like USD $5 or just set a price for the vehicle like ₹1600 - ₹2000. Just taking advantage of tourists who don’t know better.
It was like in a dream, couldn’t believe that it came true in undeveloped Nepal full of bad hotels and services. Breath-catching views from multiple big windows, huge and nicely decorated rooms, some interior design details were also hypnotizing, beautiful garden to walk and look around from the hill top, very helpful and competent staffs. I will definitely come back, ...
The stay at Park Safari was a perfect stay at a good price. Ashok Arya the manager was helpful and courteous. It's a new property which is maintained nicely. The property is huge and ample parking space. Breakfast is lavish. The only minus is the Wifi Connection and the finding of property. A proper signage is required. It's a beautifully made hotel and all efforts ...
Very friendly staff. Design that is attentive. The lobby is like a home just relaxing. Organic coffee is delicious Garden Restaurant. The hotel is located near the Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel. Is useful because most things are aligned in front of supermarkets. However, since the hotel is very popular, so it is recommended to book three months ago.
I spent 2-3 days here in the beginning of December. If you are looking at this property, you are here for Chitwan National Park. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Not only was the food amazing and the staff VERY helpful and friendly but their tour guide Rajan K.C. is the most amazing and helpful person ever. The first day I took a jeep tour of the park but wanted...
This is a place where your have to spend more time to appreciate. We were in a rush and tried to fit everything in but the weather wasn't in our favor. The staff was very friendly but not completely knowledgeable. They tried to accommodate all of your wishes but I wished they were more engaging. Nevertheless, this is a very nice place to stay off the beaten path.
Feel u part of the family.... Super clean and helpful. Provide u information for the trek and also help u book the bus and taxi. 100% recommended. Stayed 3 nights. Good breakfast
I booked the room for $10.69. When arriving was told it was $17 with tax and it was late and had no other options. Place was not clean bathroom hair in drai and filthy shower curtain so I did not shower. Asked about airport taxi for next day and was told 300 - 400 rps. Next morning manager offered ride and when arriving at airport demanded 2000 reps. What appeared to ...
