It's the best hotel we ever stayed in New Zealand. Beautiful hotel, good location, professional staffs. The reception is 24 hrs we had no problem checking in after dinner time. They even upgrade us from a queen room to a one bedroom suite! We felt like we are visiting a show room. The suite is a dual key, double storey unit. There is a bath tub, a professional washing ...
The location of the hotel is incredible. Just one corner away from the Auckland tower, a large grocery store where u can buy necessities including food souvenirs like chocolate at affordable prices. It even has a souvenir shop right beside the entrance. The lady there was awesome and most of the items are reasonably priced. There was one wooden carving that was a few ...
After a long multi-stop trip around both islands of New Zealand I wanted to stay somewhere comfortable with a hint of luxury and some style for our final days in the country. After a lot of searching I settled on the Naumi due to the impressive styling of the lobby and rooms, the location near to the airport was also very useful for us. Upon arrival we were immediately...
It was superb, the room was very nice and spacious. The bed is very comfortable, one of the best we had enjoyed in New Zealand. And you can also enjoy amazing sunset view by the lake, just in front of your room, with Remarkables Mountains as the backdrop, simply beautiful. The staffs were very professional and informative. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointin...
Our stay at Mt Cook Lodge and Motels was amongst the best of our month-long visit to New Zealand. The weather was fantastic which meant we were able to enjoy the stunning scenery and surroundings from the comfort of our family apartment. The family apartment was ideal for us as two friends travelling together and everything was excellent. Staff were friendly and welco...
We loved the location and the one bedroom apartment we got. Nice for both of us traveling at New Zealand. The location were good but there’s the construction going on. It didn’t disturb us that much as we were out during the day and by the time we get rested, it’s all good. The room has complete amenities for us to make good use. Clean and spacious
This hotel is beyond perfection.. i have come to visit south island of new zealand for it is well known for its beauty..and this hotel shows this new zealand reputation.. the view from our room was beautiful , facing the lake and snowy mountains.. and all the staff were friendly and helping me with everything needed.. and guess what? Even all the staff (woman 😅) were ...
We loved the environment of the hotel. The atmosphere of the place is young and modern. Our room was very spacious and confortable. It had a living room, a kitchen, bathroom, main room and a small room with an extra bed. We also loved the the breakfast! Delicious breads, fruits and many other options, all free range and organic. Unfortunately we didn't have time to ha...
I can say that Villa del Lago is the best accommodation I had during my trip across New Zealand. The 2-bedrooms lake view villa was large, completed with living room, dining area, and kitchen as well. The unit is very nice and comfortable, the rooms are clean and spacious. And the view is simply stunning! We had an unobstructed view to the lake and mountains from our b...
this hotel is great. it has the best heater from all other hostels when i stayed at new zealand. i stayed in the four ensuite female dorm. the room is large and sufficient for four people. the shower and toilet is separated. there is a balcony where we can hang our laundries. there is a 24h groceries store near by. it so close to the lake and to anywhere else. the inte...
This was my favorite stay in New Zealand. The view of the mountains, just wow. And best WiFi of my trip. I hope to return one day.
My spouse and i had the best experience in this apartment. It honestly has the best of all worlds. Value for money, Jaw dropping scenery and some of the most friendliest and most helpful staff one could come across. The apartment is situated nearby to literally everywhere. Its only a 10 minute drive from the airport and to the towns nearby. Its also nearby to lakes an...
Booked into the hotel for my last night in New Zealand, the first time I was there, I was given the highest floor, however the 2nd visit, I was given the 1st floor, did not expect the walls and the ceilings were so thin that I can hear a lot of foot steps from the floors above in the middle of the night till it was a bit tough for me to sleep. I think the hotel can imp...
Hotel 115 is located in the center of city, 3 minutes away from a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes and has everything you need at a good price. The hotel is unique because it’s is part of a restoration project of Christchurch heritage light-rail. Basically, the hotel building is the old city light rail deposit, now converted to a covered shopping area with...
this is a nice hotel with good facilities for a four star hotel in new zealand. it is located on the main street in auckland (queen street) just on the edge of the cbd. there were a good selection of resturants within walking distance and the hotel itself has a good resturant. it has good connections to and from auckland international airport with an airport express b...
We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. This place is beautiful! It is one if the best place that we stayed out of the 2 weeks in New Zealand. I would love to stay for longer if it was possible. Haha... Toilets downstairs and upstairs is a bonus. The bathroom is so spacious just like the rooms and the living area. The kitchen had everything to cook up a good meal. B...
We booked a 3 bedroom apartment at Mantra Marina. There were 7 of us in the family and all of us agreed that this was the best place we've stayed in New Zealand. Love everything about it, my mom enjoyed using the state-of-the-art kitchen too and the walk by the lake was just superb. Town centre is just 5 mons drive away.
our stay at peppers beacon hotel and queenstown were the highlights of our trip to new zealand, it was our first visit to new zealand and although we went during the rugby world cup to watch the rugby matches we were so glad we came to queenstown as well. as soon as we arrived we were immediately upgraded to an apartment with awesome views over the lake, it was breath...
Everyone was SO helpful. The staff was always able to answer our questions. They had taxis ready when we needed them, they made sure the shuttle was on time and where to eat, what to see. Nothing was too much trouble. We came in from a cruise and stored our luggage before flying out to Cairns for 4 days. Our flight back into Auckland didn't get in until midnight. There...
We were so happy with our 6 day stay at The Glebe in January. We stayed in the studio room which was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had everything in our kitchen even a rice cooker! It was the best provisioned kitchenette we have ever stayed at. They provided you with an abundance of every amenity even down to the dish soap. The ladies who run this f...
Unfortunately, due to extra late arrival of plane into New Zealand, we did not check-in until early hours of the morning and thus missed a dinner booking at the hotel's restaurant and had a shortened night's sleep. However, the bed was very comfy and breakfast location and breakfast itself very good. The only issue to consider for visitors is to be sure to have a good ...
We will certainly return as the hotel exceeded most of our requirements. The only downside was that all wifi was charged This is increasingly uncommon in the hotels where we stay in New Zealand, the US and the UK.
Stayed in Christchurch for our last night in New Zealand. Stumbled upon southwark apartments while searching for accommodation in the city. It is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed although quite compact the room features are your essentials. Could do with better sound insulation it's never nice to be woken up but someone else's baby crying at 6am. Other notab...
The staff were very helpful and pro-active with our special room requests even before our arrival. They also would do unexpected cleaning such as putting dishes left in the sink into the automatic dishwasher for us while we were out. The only drawback was that the bedroom was small and offered no luggage rack or even space to set two large suitcases. Closet space and...
Edgewater is the most beautiful hotel we stayed in New Zealand, Situated conveniently around Lake Wanaka it has one of the best facilities to vouch for. The lakeside room have specatacular view of lake and the balcony opens up into the garden area around the lake. The rooms are big and spacious with great kitchen, dining and sitting area. The service is prompt and we h...
The 2 bedroom apartment was small for anyone staying longer than a few days. Kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. Bathroom small but shower good & lots of hot water. Most disappointing thing was there was no WiFi. This I believe is an issue in new zealand which hopefully they will be sorting soon.
quiet and nice place. one of the best places to visit in new zealand
Overall the hotel was good. The location was by far one of the best in Quenstown. Hotel rooms were decent with large bathrooms but age is showing. Limited television channels. There is no free wifi access except for 30 minutes in the Lobby Area every 24 hours which was very disappointing considering the prices we paid. You would have to pay otherwise. We have stayed at...
Cheap places to stay in New Zealand
Great hostel for the money. Large old house with nice views. I also got upgraded from an 8 bed to a 4 bed dorm for free which was nice. There is some wear and tear and things that could use an upgrade/fixing/replacement. The mattress was not the most comfortable and the bunk bed I was in transferred a lot of the movement of the person below me. It is a bit of an uphi...
Perfect place to stay that's super cheap however I wouldn't book all females again because I don't get along with them, apart from that you can't go wrong for $20 tbh
This is a very good backpackers hostel, the staff very nice and polite. They allowed us to use the bathroom even we not yet check in the hostel. The hotel is centrally located, which very near to shopping area (QUEEN STREET)and other famous visiting area like sky tower, train station britomart, voyager new Zealand maritime museum and etc...
We booked a private double room with ensuite bathroom. When we came into our room, there were no towels. When we asked about that at the reception, the answer was "We don't put towels in the room. Guests must ask for it.". Strange policy! The kitchen was big enough with everything you need. Unfortunatly, tea and coffee are not provided for free. Wifi is also not ...
So much better in the various aspects of a hostel experience in Auckland, New Zealand than say, Choice Backpacker Hostel. Paid only slightly more in my case but better in terms of worth. And good free breakfast!
Very good and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good price for New Zealand. Not in downtown, but easy to go by car (2 minutes). Would stay here again for sure.
Lovely staff that are baking all the time and you get to eat the goodies. Nice free bread all day, free breakfast, noce size rooms, the house has chracter. Nice atmosphere. Stay here!!!
The vibes in this hostel really depends on the backpackers that are staying with you that day. One day I had very quiet but dull night because my roommates won't speak, the other times I had people who mingle very actively at the lounge, which is cool. Lots of DVD options at the reception to kill your time, comfortable bed is real gem, and short walk to beautiful beach...
Centrally located, this is one of the best hostels I stayed at in New Zealand. The rooms have high ceilings which gave the dorm rooms an open feel unlike some of the more cluttered places that are comparably priced. Beds were comfortable and sturdy, and it had everything needed. Plus it was atop a rock gym for those who like climbing :)
The best thing about this hostel is the staff. They were so nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions you had about what to do while you are in the area regardless of your budget. Most of the staff were travelers as well so they understand what you are looking for. They have parking in the back which is great if you have a rental car for NZ. The room I was s...
I had a good time at Silverfern, the staff were super helpful and friendly, bedroom was nice and clean with other interesting guests. The kitchen was large with good appliances and equipment. Toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. Location is good near main bus terminal and Sky Tower. This seems to be one of the best hostels in Auckland.
The room size is good, so does the size of the bathroom. There is a fridge provided (an additional benefit). The location in the central of the town would be great if no irritating noise from the pub at the ground level. The linen feels not so clean, and we suspect there might be thousands of mites as we both kept scratching ourselves throughout the 2 nights stay th...
The single room is basic but has everything you need for a simple short stay. Probably the best basic room offering for budget range, room includes tv, tiny fridge and basin with hot water for washing face and brushing teeth which is great. You won't get the setup for this price anywhere else in Wellington CBD, it's extremely central close to major bus stop. The shared...
My stay was pretty good. I had a nice surprise when I found out my dorm was shared, but I had pleasant roommates. The rooms were a bit small, rooms only had cubby sized lockers. Bathrooms were clean. It was fairly loud at night because k'road is the party strip, but nothing overbearing to where we couldn't sleep. The breakfast is only toast. Staff was friendly, they ha...
The kitchen is quite small, and when several people are cooking at the same time, it's crowded. I got a room that was facing K-road, which means, it comes together with the noise from the pubs and on weekends, it could go until 4am. Friendly staffs, great location to grab food within a short walk and meeting new people (if the right people are staying there at the same...
Perfect location for those who are taking campervans/motorhomes for your trip in New Zealand. Many companies are nearby such as Jucy, Britz, etc. So if your flight arrives late after midnight, it’s convenient to actually to stay here rather than go all the way to City centre which will cost you alot of $. Staffs are friendly. They even offer to do a wake up call beca...
Not far away from the Intercity bus station - a 5 minutes walk only. Google map does not know where. I was there on a Friday. Next to the hostel is a nightclub. So it was noisy. But with earplugs no problem. The owner was very friendly and he told me about the noise. If you use earplugs a very nice place to stay.
Great stay in nice warm comfortable bed.Had a good sleep in a quiet charming place.Enjoy the great view at the roof terrace garden. Good value for money as it has all for any traveller. Big nice kitchen and plenty of space for privacy.Good free WIfi network. Place is just minutes to city center and all the great cafes and shops especially to Pak n Sav and take-aways. W...
Booked 1 night in private bunk bed room really basic but clean, hostel in the city center close to the octagon, friendly staff at the reception, free car park in the street 5 min walk to the hostel, good free breakfast, free wifi, for the price we paid and all the facilities I recommend this hostel
They provided us the best accommodation service so far in New Zealand and will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is planning to go to Franz Josef. I will surely stay here again if I get to visit Franz Josef again! ;) Thank u again for the best offer and hospitality.
I've been travelling thru nz and this hostel is the best! (no "one of") I stay here everytime when I'm back to Taupo! Everything is perfect and the beds are definitely the most comfortable among all the nz hostels! Love the cute hostel dog! Friendly staff, clean kitchen and big but cozy common area! Small tips: the merch of the hostel are AWESOME!
Great staff, clean facility, very original hostel.
The hotel (hostel) is a very nice old building walkable distance from the city centre. The rooms are big, bed confortable. The building is still under renovation as it's very old but this is one of the great feeling there. The he Hungarian guy at the reception and everywhere around the hostel is super friendly and helpful (especially with Hungarian travelers). Thank...
This was by far the nicest backpacker hotel I've stayed in. I plan to stay in the other Haka lodges in other cities when I return to New Zealand. My only small complaint is that the main bathroom area was closed off for cleaning at the most inconvenient time: right about checkout time when people were rushing about looking for an available bathroom. Other than that, ...

We arrived at around 6pm and the receptionist was about to go out, so he gave us a very quick check-in without taking us to the room, nor telling us how to access the internet (though it's fine because the wifi has no password). The place looked messy, and the kitchen (where guests also socialise as there is no living room besides a small TV room) was small. People sta...
We were upgraded as we arrived as I think they thought we were to old to stay with the young folk, amazed by the breakfast and soup for dinner was all in the price. Quality place to stay would recommend it to any body
Initailly chose this as it was the cheapest one. Ive read some reviews about how awful it is because its dirty, its not a 5 star hotel but it is a nice place to stay. Its a bit dirty in the way that hostels can be sometimes. Most of the dirt I saw was from guests not wiping down the table after they used it ans dirty dishes in the sink. The staff are super helpful, the...
Pleasant stay. New Zealand houses suffer from the fact that the thin walls is very sound conductive and we could hear the guys walking non stop upstairs (but they quietened down later in the evening). The lodge is weary of reviews about the noise aspect, BUT this problem is with most hotels in NZ and I think it is pretty unfair to pick on this hotel. So ignoring that, ...

Totally I lived in this hotel for 4 times during Oct to Nov 2010. Agoda is offering very good price for this hotel and make this hotel is really outstanding and value for money. To be fair, this hotel is really 4 star hotel standard. Comparing with the hotel in New Zealand, this hotel looks still new. Recommend to choose standard room rather than the studio room.
The location was exactly how I like - not right in the city centre (no noise, no crowd, no pollution), but very close it. By very close, I mean easily walkable. There's a short cut to reach the centre centre by foot - which is uphill (only about 100 meters or so - the rest of the way is quite flat) when you go back to the hotel but almost all of New Zealand has big ups...
Really great location to get up the mountains for skiing or go exploring to Arrowtown but also still close to central Queenstown. Only a 5 minute drive from the airport so convenient to get to once you arrive. Having the washing machine and dryer was really great and they provided the washing liquid too. Having the full kitchenette was also fantastic as it meant we cou...
After a 3-week tour of New Zealand, we stayed here to rest up, do laundry (no charge for community washers/dryers ... and one of our rooms even had a washing machine in their room!), and shop before heading home to the USA. I cannot say enough about their wonderful staff.
The heater in the room for cold days is not enough, need to ask for extra heater or electric blanket. We traveled I'm new Zealand from 5/17, I know most good quality accommodation can provide in the room(strong heater, air condition, or electric blanket). We are traveling with baby and our parents, we can't let our family have chance to get sick while sleeping. One of ...
As our flight into Queenstown arrived early in the morning we transferred to this hotel expecting to just leave our bags and return later in the day. Upon arriving, the duty manager took it upon herself to liaise with housekeeping staff to have one of the two rooms we had booked ready for us within the hour. The duty manager took our mobile number and called us within ...
excellent room, best bed comfort I have had in any hotel around the world, good surprise at the equipment available in the kitchen. great heaters so found it lovely and warm!!
The room is spacious and feels very new and clean. Staff was very friendly during the check-in and advising on the check-out routine, as we will require the keycard for the carpark before checking out. There is underground hotel car park available. I'm not sure if it is a 1-1 ratio of parking lots to the hotel rooms, as the car park was full. Location is good, as it ...
booked the motel for a night of rest before exploring the franz josef glacier. the alpine glacier motel resembles a typical motel with car parking and a reasonable and clean room, which was pleasantly spacious. the 30 mins of free internet in particular was very useful, given the scarcity of internet in new zealand. the staff was also exceptionally friendly and helpful...
It is my best experience stay in New Zealand, also the best value for money stay. I am completely satisfied with the property, service and location as well. I would like to come back again if I can make back to Wanaka.
One of the best hotels on our tour of New Zealand .
Perfect place to stay that's super cheap however I wouldn't book all females again because I don't get along with them, apart from that you can't go wrong for $20 tbh
I enjoy staying in this apartment very much. Best hotel we have during 12 days trip in New Zealand. Room is spacious and clean, equipped with washing machine and drier.
The location is hard to find for one not familiar with Wellington, parking is $25.00 a night extra and so it is an internet connection. Entrances are inconvenient and one poorly marked. The room was small and cramped. But the worst thing about this hotel was the service at the front desk. When we checked in, we inquired if breakfast was included, and the answer, wh...
We stayed for one night on our trip through the South Island of New Zealand. The proprietor Mary was so very helpful in giving us tips on what to do, where to eat and when to leave for Milford Sound. The accommodations were clean and the room very large with a splendid view of the park. Close to everything in Te Anau.
We had a really bad trip this time due to weather conditions and cancelled planes, and this hotel saved us. I was extremely tired when we arrived there, they did everything they can to get our room ready. They gave us the most delicious cookie of my life too. It feels like a chateau, European vibe with New Zealand green. Plus, best restaurant in Town -Dux- is at 6-7 mi...
Apartment location is good - an easy walk to town and the skyline gondola. Could enjoy the view of the surroundings along with parachutes lazily floating their skydivers down at the balcony. We left our car parked there throughout our stay - walked to the skyline gondola, The Station Building (where we boarded our bus tour to Milford Sound), Fergburger (awesome stuff),...
I spent 3 nights at the St. James Apartments. On entry I was a little concerned, the was vaccuming going on and few people getting in or out. Specially since it is not our standard reception area like big hotels, I was a little worried. Check in was easy headed to Room 307. Actually it was a suite, two huge beds, each equipped with shower etc, then the was the kitchen ...
I've stayed so many hostels in New Zealand and this hostel was the cleanest. They change towels everyday if you require so it was comfortable. I stayed 2 nights and there were so many snowboarders and skiers in this hostel and they used shower at almost the same time so they ran out hot water after 7pm. A receptionist explained to me why there's no hot water and she...
clean hotel and friendly staff, with great views overlooking the lake. the room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable, and exactly as represented. queenstown is a small resort town so the fact that it's not located in the center of town may be a drawback for some, but there is a bus that comes regularly for $4 nzd that drops you off right in town within five minut...
stayed in deluxe king room. a big clean room. service is great as well. upon arrival, we were approached on places that can be visited, places to eat, etc... second day of stay, we did not need the room to be cleaned. however, new set of towels are automatically given to us without having to request. basement parking is available. access to room from basement is ju...

What a nice hotel. I got a large room with enough space for a king-sized bed, a living area with 2 sofas seats, a balcony, a bath-tub in the toilet, a pantry area and lots of walking space in between. Even for such a large space, it was sufficiently heated. Everywhere indoors, there's no need for warm clothing. Quite unexpected of a "boutique hotel" - or perhaps my exp...
Try to upgrade to a corner room. The views are really great of the Harbor. The location is perfect - walking distance to the must see best parts of Auckland. The hotel is right next to the area with the most restaurants and nightclubs, walking distance to what passes for trendy shopping in New Zealand. There is no lobby to speak of, the business center ( a desk in the ...
1)The staff we interacted with were lovely. To name a few Renin , Katalina , Michael and one lovely Finnish lady. 2) The lake facing rooms have a great view. 3) The breakfast was great. 4) Car park available. 5) Walking distance from the town center. 6) Very clean and lovely hotel. Overall probably has one of the best locations in Queenstown.
It was a stunning hotel. We stayed our last night in New Zealand there. The staff was very friendly even when the reservation didn't come up right away. They had complimentary bottled water in the room, a very simple but nice touch. Sadly we didn't have time to use the spa, but even though they were about to close for the night they let us take a quick look around: ver...
The main problem we had with our stay was with a half-full bottle of wine we had in our room. While she didn't take away a half-eaten egg and dirty plates with breakfast food on them, our maid (or someone) took away a bottle of fairly nice wine that was only about half-finished. After contacting the reception staff about this issue, they indicated that they would sen...
Honestly one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff were incredible, so friendly and nothing was too much of a hassle of trouble. The room was devine with its decor. We loved the location. I celebrated my 30th birthday there and was made to feel incredibly special. My partner and I can't wait to come back. The ONLY downside is that the view, while i...
Second time staying in the M Gallery by Sofitel where in also had few nights' stay in Milan months ago. Words cannot describe how much we loved this hotel. Amazing service within this gem in Queenstown. Prime location with the best views in town. Highly recommend this hotel.
This place was amazing. We stayed on the 4th floor in a "spa room", which had absolutely stunning views of the Bay. Waking up to that view was amazing - especially given the comfortable beds with beautiful sheets. The spa pools around the main swimming pool were amazing - there were 3 different temperature settings to suit everyone's taste. Overall this place was am...
Central location, clean en-suite toilet and very friendly staff. Front desk is open 24 hours, unlike many hostels I've been to in New Zealand. Food options are plenty in the location. Very recommended!
Clean, warm, comfortable and quite new room/cabin. Clean and well maintained shared toilet and kitchen. Free car washing possibilities and drinking water tap outiside every cabin is a plus. Room had a small fridge as well. Only downside was the bed because it was a bit too soft. Overall the whole place felt really cozy and it was the best camper site we've been in New ...
Stunning clean, bright, well designed building and rooms Fresh, new, charming and delightful Great food, views, scenery Helpful staff One of most luxurious sophistication that money can buy
Perfect spot for our last night in New Zealand. Quite location, super clean, TV and fan in room and an ensuite! WiFi is extra. $6/24 hours. They have great luggage storage for after checkout. The staff was incredibly helpful. It is definitely up the hill from the harbor, but an OK walk to Sky City area restaurants. The kitchen was large and clean.
5 stars for the service checking in and out and also at the Jardin Garden restaurant (dinner and breakfast), and felt pampered by the French luxurious touches in the elegantly furnished room. Turn down service was a lovely surprise, the bed was super comfortable, and the luggage store after checkout was very helpful for a late flight. Will be staying again when we visi...
Pretty nice hotel and very friendly staff. Internet prices in New Zealand are through the roof but you can get free wifi in the lobby. The city itself can get a little stinky with the hot springs everywhere, but the room did a pretty good job of keeping the smell out.
Stayed for a night with my partner. The room is small but everything is new. Love the hotel and room deco. Breakfast was included and the staffs were very nice and friendly. Bed is too comfy to get up. Everything was great and I would highly recommend this property. Only 5 mins walk to Cuba St and thats is really convenient.
We had a wonderful stay that turned out to be a real treat for us at the end of our three-week long visit to several locations in New Zealand. A great big heartfelt thank you goes out to all the staff. You were the friendliest, nicest, most efficient and professional staff we'd met during our vacation. Thank you for your kindness, great spirit and high level of compete...
Thank you to the Bolton Hotel. My stay was very pleasurable indeed. Having stayed in many New Zealand hotels recently both in Auckland and Wellington, I believe that the Bolton is a must stay for service, cleanliness, in room dining quality and all the things that a business traveller requires. eg. block out curtains, great heating, all amenities in room, eg. microw...
Loved the lighting , made us feel like in a fairytale during measable august nights! Almost like New Plymouth during Festival of Lights but just outside your hotel room! Really made our holiday special. Loved the pools also, easy walking distance to all kids playgrounds and AirPad! So kids had a blast!!!! The staff was also really helpful. Had a magor hick up with book...
Having thought about the stay at the Hilton Taupo, and considering it is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, really it was as expected. The room size was good and the staff were attentive - room service was efficient and the secure parking was a bonus. Actually, the staff were one of the best features of the hotel. But $10 for wi-fi for a day was unnecessary, from the r...
Pros: Location of the hotel is really good. Close to supermarket and eateries. Hotel staffs were really nice and professional. I had two kids with me and they enjoyed their stay due to very spacious one bedroom apartment. Everything was really clean. Nice little kitchen with everything that we need to feed our little monkeys. Soundproofing was good as well between wall...
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms are not spacious. Can't lay down our luggage in the room without blocking the way. 1 room had a king sized bed and another room had a smaller bed which is a little small for 2 people. We had the room right beside the main road and it was noisy. Sofas in the living area are not the comfortable type although they are new. Perhaps b...
Don't believe the hype: Christchurch is not ready for tourists. It's a vast wasteland. We just stayed one night - flying straight in from Sydney - and hotfooted it towards Dunedin 24 hours later. The motel was a great introduction to New Zealand - clean, quiet and central. It's an easy drive from the airport (where customs/immigration was startlingly easy). My best mem...
I booked this hotel for one night because I thought it looked really nice from the pictures. I was a little disappointed however, when i arrived I was given a room with two beds and not the King size bed I had booked. I was told that they had given me a room with a view (on the bottom floor). This was hardly a view as it was just a small garden, especially as the hotel...
