Where to begin? I stayed here for my 50th birthday with three friends. On arrival at check-in was greeted with a glass of cava. I booked 2 rooms and both were upgraded. Wow, a lovely room. Comfy beds, lovely linen, big fluffy towels, slippers, dressing gown...the bathroom was minimalist, monsoon shower. good toiletries including bath salts! The room had nespresso mach...
A Lovely boutique hotel situated centrally in Madrid, only minutes walk from most major attractions in Centro. The moment you walk in, your luggage is carried to your room for you. Lovely smell of the entrance and lobby at all times. So many comfortable and classy seating areas, and multiple terraces to enjoy a nice view of downtown. The room was perfect. It was servic...
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Barcelona and couldn’t have been better. - Excellent location- 10 to 15 minutes to La Ramblas, right infront of McDonalds and Subway and one of the best restaurants I’ve been to (Antic Cafe), next to several supermarkets and clothes shops (including Carrefour express) - If you want to reach any place in Barcelona cheaply you could use ...
The staff were warm and welcoming. The building is historical and gorgeous. The location couldn’t be better for walking to every neighborhood and attraction in Barcelona. The amenities were so lovely. We so enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar, La Isabella (which happens to be my name in Spanish). We loved the included use of the spa with sauna and steam room. It was such ...
We only stayed for one night - our last evening in Barcelona after a week and a half traveling around Spain and part of France. I would have loved more time at the OD Barcelona; it's a clean, very comfortable hotel with warm and welcoming customer service. It's not the highest end of the 5-star scale, but it's great value for money (perhaps even better still because...
we loved this hotel, the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The food at breakfast had a great selection and was great value for money if you didn't already have it included. We had our room upgraded when we arrived and our room was great, good shower and bed, awesome amount of space and the rooms were very modern. We unfortunately had a smell in our room (wasn...
We stayed at this hotel because of the access to public transit, and the free hotel van to downtown Madrid, and the airport. What we did not expect is the architectural features of the hotel It's rather like an art museum, with different themes on different floors. While the rooms themselves are lovely, with wifi an "interesting" bathtub (on the "Star Wars" floor) it i...
location location location!! absolutely perfect! it is an amazing 4 star hotel that should be considerred 5 stars, best location in barcelona, practicaly 2 seconds from la ramblas street (which i fell in love with) and across the street from the aerobus service (airport bus)so it really has a great location, the receptionist was soooooooo nice to us! hr name was suzana ...
Pleasant stay overall. The hotel location couldn't be better, the accommodations were clean and in fairly good repair but I did notice a lot of damage to walls and doors that should be fixed. Also, the doors need closers or higher grade hinges so that they don't slam shut; that was the most unpleasant part of the stay. The staff could be a bit more attentive. There was...
Our stay at Hotel Mercer was most memorable, our first visit to Barcelona, this fabulous hotel made it extra special and we loved every minute. The hotel's location is as p...
Really enjoyed our first trip to Spain. Got around pretty easily from the hotel using the metro. The rooms were spotless. The staff helpful. There was a smokey smell on the 4th floor, but in the corridor and not the rooms. Other than that, we had a perfect stay. Will definitely recommend.
Mark was great! Great emailer before check in and great check in and check out host. Great location mostly because it's on same block of a metro stop. It's a little far from the marina and Las Ramblas but it's an enjoyable walk through the city. If you're going to the beach, walk up the hill and take the scenic cable car ($11 +/- one way) to Sant Sebastia Beach. Be ...
Me and my Wife stayed at the Pulitzer Hotel as part of out Honeymoon tour of Europe July 2013. The Pulitzer is a cool quirky and luxury Boutique Hotel right next to Plaza De Catalunya, just off the Rambla! The place is good, you walk in to a cool looking bar and reception and there is always good music playing. The room was big and really comfortable, big bathroom a...
Good location and clean facilities. Has a kinda good beach clubish! next door to Ushuaia Hotel and pool club for partying. Also two minutes away from Hi club which is prime location. It can get pricy if you book within a short notice. Also staff are amazing and concierge is so helpfull to sort out your parties if you wish
The room is of a normal size considering its location. But one can tell the hotel tried its best to make it as comfortable as possible. Personally speaking i think they achieved that. Someone used to complain about the glass wall between the shower and the bedroom, but there is a blind. Others complain about toilet separate from the shower, which is the most common set...
I really wonder when was the time when Europe theme sounded stylish and sexy - today the once modern style of this hotel looks really outdated. Apart from that almost everything is good - the location is about 20 minutes by bus 46 to the airport, almost the same to the city center. The hotel is clean, very easy to find, staff is friendly, rooms are spacious and well ai...
I really liked this hotel. It's very modern, the decor is lovely and new, and the bedroom and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the toiletries provided, had a lovely bath with them! The metro was 1 minute walk around the corner and it took only 12 mins to get into town. I'd never been to Spain before, and I managed to get around on the metro ...
I was traveling with my mom touring Spain and Italy ... the last stop before our flight back to the U.S. was Barcelona. I booked the hotel because they offer free airport shuttle transfers which was great because I was at the end of my budget. Tho hotel staff was friendly but the shuttle drivers could use some customer service training. They also offer a shuttle servi...
This hotel is the BEST at communicating with their guests even before they arrive! The staff has a heart and are very thoughtful. I didn’t even stay there and I was so impressed. THAT is what you call service. I will tell everyone. 2 days before I checked in to the hotel I r’cd a call that my mum had passed. I emailed the hotel who advised that b/c I booked with Agod...
Hotel was well located and the worth the cost. Check-in: I wish I had been told the location of the sensor for activating the lights. Imagine entering a dark room for the first time and fumbling around. I had to go back down to the reception to be cheekily told "welcome to Europe, we save energy". Sure that is great! But guys let me know where the sensor is located -...
Pros 1) perfect location, subway entrance just next to hotel front door; major scenic spots, restaurants and shops are nearby 2) Great, fresh breakfast with 360 wonderful view of Madrid on roof top 3) Fancy designed room with all you needs and comfortable to take rest Cons 1) my room faces construction and redecoration building so I can't open window while the heat is...
the hotel located on a street next to La Rambla and walking distance to Plaza Catalunya, which means the location is the best for traveller. It is walking distance from Aerobus bus stop hence make the travelling journey to airport is easy and quick. With the price that they charged, it is value for money in this location. However, the downside is the hotel charge euro...
Gran ducat offers the right service and ample room size. Definitely value for money since it is centrally located and all the best shopping and dining areas are well within a 10 min walk from the hotel. They have friendly staff who can suggest all the must see locations in Barcelona as well as the best routes to take to get there. This hotel is a stop and go type of ho...
Located in possibly the best neighbourhood in the city, absolutely stunning gothic architecture seconds walk from the hotel. Staff were nice and kindly allocated us a triple room regardless of booking mistake which was for 2. Room was clean, really quiet, aircon working nicely. However toiletries were a bit basic and the room was tiny.
Hotel location fantastic - in middle of La Rambla - restuarants, subway, shopping, public transport and sight seeing places all closeby. Hotel rooms are newly rennovated and modern and good condition. Only issues I had was that the toilet did not work properly sometimes and took a while to get fix and sometimes I did not get shower gel and soap, had to ask but got serv...
The location was great and within walking distance to all attractions and public transport. The room for 4 was very new, clean although a bit tight for 4 but it didn’t bother us as we were out most of the time, There’s a lift which means we don’t have to carry our heavy bags up stairs like many other hostel in Spain, I would highly recommend this place,
Fairly close to airport with free shuttle (if you can find it for pick up). Cafe has good food for decent prices. Air conditioning worked well, best in all the hotels we stayed in Spain. Customer service was great (except for one extremely rude front desk person). They let us leave a couple suitcases in their storage prior to our stay so we could travel light to Franc...
Decided to stay in Mazagon and found the place full of character and authentically Spanish. The hotel was very nice, clean and everyone was friendly although, as non-Spanish speakers communication could have been problematic. Our only gripe was that the room came equipped with a kitchenette but had no cups, plates pans etc which we found very strange? The was also no k...
the hotel was great his location is the best and the crew stuff is amazing we had a great time and hope to come back there soon.
This is my second time after 3 years - the whole concept of the hotel is great and unique worldwide with all the parties. That's why they can charge so much money per night. The staff at the reception is nice, but on the beach not very good. It took ages until we were served. Food is good. And the parties are great of course :) So will come there again because of the v...
Cheap places to stay in Spain
Location is central, near to 3 metro stations: nearest is santo domingo but no escalators/lift, second is callao station which is 2nd nearest with lift, third is plaza de espana. The best is callao station if you are carrying your luggage to and from atocha renfe train station. you can use Santo domingo station for your sightseeing startoff journey. Located very near t...
going there to the airport I do recommend you buy the HOLA BARCELONA travel cad they have 2,4..... days just check the nearest train station its was a huge mistake to took a cab for 32euros (price of 2, 2days hola card). It's a tiny door leading to the hostel, don't be scared like I did (the name on the door is small), buzz right thru and some one will open the door fo...
staffs can not speak english very well but everyone of them try their best to answer my questions and provide what i need. they are very helpful and friendly. there are one mix dorm for 12 and 2 toilets and 2 showers for women (don't know for men ) are very clean and not too crowded.
사리아부터 시작했기 때문에 순례첫날 역사적으로 전통있는 수도원에서 묵고 순례자 미사 8시에 참석한 것은 매우 의미 있었습니다.
It is a vey cheap hostal located in a very central location in Granada. The hostel is very small with only a kitchen and the rooms. The staff is very friendly. The WIFI barely reaches the rooms, so you must go to the first floor at the kitchen.
Both room and bathroom are very clean. It’s not crowded. The staff is really friendly and introduced the city to customers.
Nice hostel in the center of Granada, near Puerta Real. Very clean, friendly staff at reception. All shared rooms have their own bathroom with toilet and shower, additional toilet and shower on every floor. Every floor has it's own fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Tea and coffee and basics like salt, pepper, olive oil etc. are for free. Nice common room on ...
Great location. Just a short stroll to town centre
good location,10 minuts walk to the cathedral, big window , lovely garden, clean bathroom and comfortable bed
We were a couple on the Camino with a private room that looked exactly as pictured on booking site. Shared bathrooms were best on the Camino: almost spa-like, with heated towel rails, and lots of room for personal toiletries. Modern room with wraparound windows, lots of heat, excellent wifi. Outstanding hostel in every way.
Reasonable price and location
Pros- affordable, included dinner, great staff, included day trips, and night outings. Cons- thin walls, balcony door lock broken.
We spent 2 days in Barcelona and at the Inout hotel, which is a very nice location in the forest, a bit far away from the city center if you don't have a car, but directly in the nature. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice. And we also enjoyed the swimming-pool. To be recommended if you look for a "nice" price.
I was in the city by myself working on a film for three days. The hostel had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful, beds comfy and private (with individual lights and curtains) and everything was lovely and clean. Didn't seem like the best atmosphere if you wanted to meet people and party, but it's perfect for a relaxed visit.
I was checked into the hostel with no hassle. They require a 10Euro cash deposit for a combinational lock to lock your things in your cubby. Do not worry you will get your deposit back when you return the lock at the end of your stay. I found the bathrooms very clean. The beds sufficiently comfortable to get a night's rest. The staff was amazing. They are very friendly...
I sent am e-mail telling them, that I will arrive late (1AM) and cant deny it was a bit weird to be received by someone of the trainstation. I also cant deny neither that he was very nice, had everything ready to me and made my experience funnier. The room was cleaned, the showers worked and the breakfast considering the price nice (3€ per day). The hostel was well loc...
1) I booked and payed (in Agoda site) a Double room and when I arrived at the hostel (at 23:00), they told me that is only 1 bed in 6 beds room, and if I want a Double room I have to pay directly to them 47,50 euro per night x 4 nights, and after that to see with Agoda how I can recuperate this amount from Agoda, because I already payed to Agoda the accomodation (20 eu...
Everything you like in an albergue, super friendly family run, fantastic location
Its clean and near the city center. You get a decent bed and washing facilities. A locker albeit you have to pay a euro to get the lock and key. The staff is polite and generally helpful. The kitchen is decent as is the large lounge with a couple of computers if you have a need for them. The atmosphere is a little dull and quiet which might not be everyone's cup of tea...
Marcello is a delightful host and goes out of his way to provide a homely and comfortable stay. We spent a charming evening enjoying the the meal he prepared and shared with us.
Quiet area, the balcony is a great place to chill after waking 27KM. The owner was nice and welcoming. The sink in the room was a nice touch. The hotel has a fridge and microwave. The beds are very comfortable. It might be hard to find from google map but Agoda/booking.com maps are great!
I stayed here twice within one month. I traveled through out Spain and this was the best hostel experienced I had without a doubt. The staff is more than helpful and relaxed. This place was clean and had a great atmosphere. I highly recommend partaking in the daily events they have set up for you to meet other travelers alike. It can get very busy and rowdy in the even...
adequate accommodations and clean facilities. bring your own towel. press a button for the 45 second shower (located downstairs from the bunk beds located upstairs).
Beautiful building, cool in the heat. No free breakfast or towels.wifi only in hallway. One owner creepy and would talk at me for long periods of time- also yelled at me for putting my bag on my bed. Town is a tourist trap sadly
Hands down one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Starting with the location, 2 min walk to Puerta del Sol, following with the amazing staff, giving great recomendations, organizing fun activities on a daily and always there to answer questions, free coffee and churros in the morning, and free dinner at night. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, clean everything. Beds ...
No one help you do the check in after 8:30pm, so you need to make sure you receive their email which give you instruction how to do it. And the rook is very hot , though each bed has a very small fan. The location is very good , a lot of restaurant nearby.
I want to give this hostel a fair review so I will say that it is fine for a night! They have a tv room and Netflix and a nice roof terrace. However after one night you start to notice the dankness in the air (didn’t help that our window simply opened to the hall = no fresh air) and this meant that on my second night I was finding it hard to breath in bed as I think th...
great location near the main square in Padron. Friendly, helpful staff. I arrived soaked from the rain and was pleasantly surprised by the free laundry services! This property is great value.
Super clean, warm and comfortable place to stop for the night, a nice alternative to Roncesvalles.
Modern and equipped with great kitchen facility. A nice place to meet new people if you’re traveling alone. It would be better if they clean the bathroom everyday. (It seems that they only take out the trash cuz the shower room and the sink are still dirty and don’t smell really good) But overall it’s a wonderful experience!

Great hotel with a fantastic staff! We were traveling with our son, stayed in the Gracia neighborhood the week before and returned to the hotel for our last night in Spain before heading to the airport. The location is easy to the metro for ease of getting around and the taxi to the airport was straightforward.
This was our first time to Spain. We are so lucky that stayed at the right hotel. We went from the Atocha train station and just a 5 mins walk to this hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights. We were arranged to the top floor with a big balcony that was fantastic. We can say good night every night when we finished our sightseeing. Room does not has a free internet service ...
The location is perfect...fronts to a small park, about 50 yards away to bay boulevard, ten minute easy walk to MAREMAGNUM / Bay Mall, 3 minute walk to Las Ramblas' restaurants and bars, and yet quiet and peaceful. The staff (Oscar) was helpful and accommodating . The room is quaint but very comfortable and has two small balconies. The shower room is quite nice wit...
this hotel was probably the best choice. the underground station just in front of the hotel, around 10 seconds from the entrance. the room was really clean, nice furnitre and hd tv which is not a must, but great entertainment for rainy nights. the hotel has a very good price/performance ratio.
Pros is the location n proximity to the heart of the city. However the biggest let down is the construction outside the hotel n many other hotels in town! This makes it difficult for taxis to access. There are a few steps up the entrance of the hotel n if the friendly n helpful doorman isn’t around to assist with yr bags it’s a problem. The room was big for European st...
We were touring Spain and returned to Barcelona for one day! This was the perfect location for us. Great for touring, close to restaurants and shopping and gay bars. This was the perfect hotel for us to stay when we went to Barcelona to visit our son who was spending the semester there. It was walking distance to most of the areas we wanted to see or a short cab ride to the others. Can't beat the price for such a great location. Also, I don't sleep well away from home, and had no problems here....that could also be because we w...
The hotel is not the most central located one but it has very good and comfortable design, helpful receptionist and spa at a low price. Very good value for money, best hotel I have ever stayed in Spain.
Best stay in Spain. Hotel is located literally above Barcelona's main railway and metro stations. Within 5-15-minute metro rides of Barcelona's main attractions. Hotel room was meticulously clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities provided (toiletries, safe, iron, ironing board, mini bar, large screen TV, hairdryer, etc.) Features double sinks and full ...
Enjoyed my short stay. Rooms were very clean but location is not ideal. Its a 25 euro taxi trip from Airport. No bus because i arrived after midnight in Barcelona, otherwise there is a 5 min walk bus stop from Hotel. Food - Excepted more for a four star hotel, just simple black coffee & tea during breakfast. But there was a variety of food choices available. ( pastry, ...
The rooms are very clean, spacious with beautiful interior. The bed was super comfortable and the best part was the view! This hotel have breathtaking views!! The buss takes...
The hotel was amazing, it’s very close (5 mins) to an underground stop so can get the quiet of being a bit out but also only a couple stops from the centre. The area isn’t the best but we felt safe in the hotel and could easily get to the main tourist sites via the underground. The hotel is so clean and towels are swapped every day and the bed made. I liked that you al...
I hardly write hotel review unless the hotel has wow factor. First of all, ALL staffs are so helpful and friendly, location is right in the center, so close (within 5 mins walk) to the shopping areas, apple stores, hardrock cafe & etc.... In addition, you just need to walk (less than 3 mins) to the bus station to catch the Aerobus to the airport. As a foodie, we are...
I stayed 4 nights at Colonial at the end of a 16 day tour of Spain and Portugal. I was ready for some r & r. The negative about my stay at this hotel is my room looked onto a wall about 5 metres away & there were windows to a common hallway and other guest rooms only 1-2 metres from my window, which meant the curtains were closed all the time. This would be ok for a...
this is the forth time we have stayed at the Al andalus Palace. we have always enjoyed it and have never had cause to complain. This appears to me a hotel that draws most of its income from conferences and weddings and the sheer size tends to undermine a more intimate relationship with the guest. However I qualify this by saying that staff have always been polite and f...
We checked in on the 1st March. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel room is spacey and cleaned. On Sunday 4th March we went on a tour for the whole day and I left my watch Tag Heuer in the room by the coffee table. I thought I'd lost it because we're already warned not to leave valuable things. I was so devastated because this watch is a very special gift ...

This hotel is my favorite. I like the design, the staff is very good, the bed is the best i know so far. The very friendly staff made my stay quite pleasant!!! Small room appeared much larger by the cleverly designed room divider. It was beautiful! Claris G T is conveniently located just 3 minutes walk from Passeig de Gracia train station, which makes it directly accessible from the airport. The roof top bar is a very pleasant place to chill out on evenings. O...
I was not impressed with some of the staff. The concierge was not as helpful as they should have been. They did not have a good map to provide. Also there are no signs in the hotel telling you where things are and again no map is provided. Therefore when we arrived and tried to find a place to eat we settled for outside the piano bar where we saw others eating. We ...
Very nice and clean hotel .. nice breakfast love it so much
We stayed here for our minimoon after getting married in spain. The hotel is very worthy of its 5 star. The staff are great. Food is perfect. The rooftop pool bar is perfect as an escape from the city hussle.
Not sure about other NH collection hotels, but Madrid Palace de Tepa is definitely worth your money. The customer service is amazing and wonderful hotel with excellent location. Walking distance to many shops, eateries and tourist attractions. Really the best hotel we've stayed in Spain.
We stayed at the Hotel Hesperia Barcelona Tower the night before our flight home as it was close to the airport. Hotel was excellent and staff were fantastic. We got a really good deal on a Superior Room and it was a great way to spend our last night in Spain. There is a big shopping mall close by and even though it was Sunday it was open so we had something to do...
I would have to say that this is one of the top 5 hotels I have stayed at in my life. Of course, I am not a big spender or anything but I've stayed at 4/5 star hotels in other countries at a simliar price range and this hotel was much better. First, its location in proximity to the beach at Barceloneta/Port Olimpic was unbeatable. Second, the staff knew it was our h...
This was our first trip to Madrid and had a wonderful time due to the advice/suggestions/assistance given to us by the Urban Hotel's friendly staff. We loved the roof but there always seemed to not be enough seats to accomodate the guests. Also, being in Spain it would have been much nicer if they had "afforable" cava to purchase/drink while sitting on the roof after...
i have stay majestic hotel for 4 nights during my spain tour. i will rate 4 stars out of 5 for this hotel. first of all, you cannot deny that it is located in a really good location, many many tourist points around this area. casa batllo, le pedrera, sagrada famillia, la rambla...etc.. so it is really good for tourists. good service with helpful staffs, it is reall...
On arrival reception couldn't find our booking which we booked through Agoda but they sorted it out very quickly and we got early check-in at 12pm normally check-in is 3pm. The hotel is quite new so the bed room is big and comfortable with big bathroom and very clean. The next morning we went for breakfast we were surprised as the food is very tasty just everything you...
By any criteria one of the finest boutique small hotels in the world. The location and style were first rate. However the star of the show is to a person the staff were remarkable. When I checked in I mentioned it was my birthday later in the week. How surprised that 3 days later the restaurant, house cleaners and front desk all wished me happy birthday. When I return...
This Hotel was in the best location that we could find.....near Plaza Mayor and great restaurants, across from El Prado and El Retiro Park and very accessible to the local metro and the Atocha Rail Station to anywhere in Spain. The staff was accommodating and the Room was always clean. Would definitely recommend!
We had a total of 5 days stay at the hotel, the staff service was really good. Everyone was very friendly and they were always there to help and answer any questions. Breakfast was great as the staff were always welcoming and lovely in the morning. Hotel is very good when it comes to security, as they lock the doors at night so that strangers do enter in randomly. W...
Great breakfast selection, served with awful coffee and cava. There was a Nespresso machine in our room, but no coffee capsules were provided. We had to pay 5.00 Euro extra for 4 capsules at the reception as long as we were regular guest, not all-inclusive guests. Not really a 5-star hotel experience, but the staff were friendly and very professional so we had a pleasa...
We stayed at the Hotel Villa Real for three nights in October and we must say it was a very relaxing and wonderful stay. The hotel is very central to all sights but at the same time located in a quieter area of Madrid. It has five star facilities with restaurant, gym, bar (both public and private) as well as a small seating area outside on the Plaza. There is an opt...
We were on an Insight Vacations tour of Spain and Portugal and this was the best hotel with the best breakfast.
The red level is well worth the extra. We had two entry level rooms which were beautiful. This is one of the best hotels I have been to in Europe. Highly recommended, this is not a cheap hotel but the best never is!
At the north end of Salamanca so further away from the city than some but easy access to metro or by taxi about 5-8 Euro to centre, 30 min walk to the main park. Nice quiet area where the embassies are - good restaurant la mucca very nearby (2 mins walk) their tuna millefeuille is fantastic Spanish take on the salad. Staff excellent - can't do enough, very smiley and...
My family finished up an 8 day bus tour of Spain and spent our first free day and night in Malaga. The Vincci Selection Posada del Patio was located close to all the sights in the old part of town. We easily walked to the harbour, the various squares and the shopping streets from the hotel. The pool was a welcome addition because the weather was very warm at the end of...
