“Spacious, clean, ocean view”
I stayed for four nights with two people in June. The price was comparable to a business hotel in Ishigaki, but the room was better than a resort hotel. The room had no signs of wear and was much larger and cleaner than I had imagined. The fact that it had hardwood flooring instead of carpet was also a plus. Although it was a 2LDK apartment, it was thoroughly cleaned everywhere, and I felt it was very hygienic. Being on the 10th floor, the ocean view from the room was excellent. We had good weather, so the curtains were always wide open. Since we used various activities, the washing machine and dryer in the room were very helpful. In other hotels, the washing machines were often in use and not available when I wanted to use them, which was quite bothersome. However, this time, I could do laundry whenever I wanted, and the dryer worked really well, which was a huge help. Unlike hotels, the refrigerator had ample capacity, allowing us to buy sashimi and pineapples unique to Ishigaki, chill them, and eat them. There is a supermarket nearby, so we could buy plenty of drinks without any trouble fitting them into the refrigerator. Ishigaki has many delicious restaurants, and since I don’t eat hotel meals, it is definitely more worthwhile and comfortable to stay here than to stay at a resort hotel on a low floor with a high meal-inclusive rate. If I had to be picky, it would be great if the variety of dishes could be expanded. It doesn’t have to be expensive, but having plates available alongside deep dishes would be very helpful. That said, I was surprised at the size and cleanliness of over 60 square meters, especially at this price point. The space was spacious enough to open a suitcase anywhere, and the closet that could store all my clothes was also highly rated.
