    Great beach, but resort looks dated.”

    One of the stars in this resort is their beach. You could never go wrong with just staying or swimming at their beach or enjoy their water activities. The room was clean, but a lot of their spaces are dated and could use some renovations. Their pools are quite deep which makes it limited for those who doesn’t know how to swim. A lot of the food in their menu from different restos were unavailable. Coffee in Bamboo Restaurant was burnt, might as well go for Nescafe Dulce in Tiki Bar. Resto highlights for us were Tiki Bar and SeaKatch. One of our biggest problem while we were there is the path to the rooms were very steep. Unfortunately, we were sore from a previous hiking trip so it was such a pain for us. There were tuktuks but we have to keep requesting for one since their posted schedule wasn’t followed. At one point, we called the front office thrice just to request one in their supposed designated pickup/drop off point. The hotel could improve on this service since their paths are not very friendly. In other resorts, they have one ready or on standby at strategic places in the resort like the parking area, front desk, and restos or main pool.

    Long weekend ”

    We stayed here during long weekend. We were at the airport and apparently a guest cancelled their pick up so we were able to avail of discounted pick up. There are three restaurants available. We liked Il Patio and Seacatch. The Bamboo restaurant would have been alright except for the amateur organ player which was a little uncomfortable to listen to while your dining. We were allowed to check in early as our room is available. The staff is responsive and helpful. I did find one cockroach in the tissue paper. They removed it right away. The rooms is situated in the garden so it is expected to have bugs or spiders here and there but I'm sure the cockroach is an isolated case. We enjoyed the diving and walking around the resort. The staff also arranged our baubau city tour trip which we greatly appreciated. If we have a chance, we would probably go visit Dakak again.

    All Good”

    We enjoy coming to Dakak ever few months for a couple nights... Bed - Comfortable Breakfast - very good. T.v. - nice 42" flat, with good channel selection. Beach - excellent... sand... no need for water shoes like other beaches. Cost for food, drinks... mostly normal, some things a bit higher than outside of resort. We usually stay in the standard premium room... They are all the same size, the garden rooms are right next to premium, with the only difference being add bathrobes, and slippers... so for the cost not worth it in my opinion. The ocean front rooms are also the same room as others.. but ocean front... so if you want ocean view... can pay the extra. We live on the ocean, so we don't pay for that. Overall, we always enjoy the service, and nice beach every time we visit... ohh... and the pools are great... also... there are 3 restaurants(Thai, Seafood, Italian), also the bamboo restaurant which is currently being remodeled so it is closed... have tried all... and found all to be good. Oh... also... they have many activities... Jet ski, zip line, etc. Etc... all professionally done... we have enjoyed a few of them. I recommend Dakok... Very nice resort.

    A must visit”

    Our Dakak experience? It was just an overnight yet we were able to relax ,enjoy and had fun especially with the water activities we availed. The room and the whole area were clean. The foods in the Bamboo restaurant were so good. The staff were all accomodating and very respectful, from the front desk, to the resto , the pool staff and even in the water activities. Over all experience was great and recommendable 👍🏼

    Family vacation 2/ 2024”

    🇺🇸 we enjoyed our stay here at Dakak beach resort , staff are really friendly , foods are great . Very clean surroundings and our room is also clean . The only thing is you're not allowed to bring your own drinks and foods from outside everything has to buy from their resort . It's like 45- an hour from Dipolog City and the only downside you have to rent their rides for extra charge and it's a little pricey . This place is private so there is no public rides which is hard if you want to go to the city .
