You can walk to Bugis and Little India within walking distance from MRT Rochor station. Although the facilities are just as expected for the price, I thought it was very quiet and good if you only need a place to sleep for sightseeing. The staff were all kind and attentive.

I had a pleasant stay at Aura Hotel. As a solo female traveller, I was delighted to see that the door has a latch, providing an extra layer of safety. The room comes with a mini fridge, hangers, safe box, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, mineral water bottles, kettle, TV, night light and hotel slippers. Also bonus that the toilet is equipped with a bidet. Water pressure and heater were excellent. This place is definitely value for money, although it wasn't the cleanest, my bed was made and trash emptied every day. About 10 mins walk to Little India MRT and 5 mins to bus stop. Would stay here again.

If you're backpacking with a friend or alone, this hotel is really good. It's clean, has enough space, and a really comfortable big bed. You just have to bring your own shampoo and soap.
