Close to airport, great transfer, clean and quiet”

We had a wait of about 7 hours in Phuket before our 10pm flight and booked a room to for the afternoon at David Residence. Great price for a comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet room. It had a little balcony and it was quite fun while the sun set to sit with a beer & snacks to watch the planes taking off. The airport transfer runs every half hour and is quick and smooth. Lovely staff, helpful & pleasant. David Residence has an onsite restaurant with a decent menu, there is a 7-11 a few minutes walk away plus a great little cafe serving home cooked Thai food a little further around the corner (the 168 cafe @ phuket). So relaxing to be able to chill out, have a shower and then go to the airport without any fuss, right on time to check in and do the bag drop.

Perfect stay on the way to and from Phuket airport”

David Residence is perfectly situated 2 minute drive (perhaps 10 min walk) away from the Phuket airport. My partner and I had a long layover between flights and found David Residence to fit our exact needs for a quiet rest. The staff is extremely friendly. Free shuttle service to/from the airport. Clean and quiet rooms. Would recommend to anyone who needs some shut-eye between flights.

Perfect for one night stay!”

We flew in in the evening so just needed a place for the night. It was perfect. We were picked up within minutes of calling. We weren’t sure where we’d have dinner but there was the cutest open air restaurant directly adjacent to the hotel. We had two great meals dinner and then breakfast the next morning. For an airport hotel the ambience and food was awesome. We then had them arrange out transportation to the marina for the rest of our Phuket adventure. Thank you David Residence!

Absolutely will be one of the best memories in Phuket by staying here. My kids love this place so much. Even for just 1 night, we manage to cycling around the area. This hotel provide bicycle which is free and there are a lot of Halal eateries nearby. At this hotel also have cats which my kids love so much. Happy kids happy me! Comfortable, spacious, functional, handy, affordable.”

David has a good little business model going here. (He seems to own a couple of businesses along the road, including a car rental business). We literally only stayed for a few hours to tie us over between checking out of our hotel in Kamala at 12pm and checking in for our flight from Phuket Airport at 6.45pm. Although we didn’t stay the night, it was worth the money we paid - it was everything we needed for those few hours to rest, shower, organise our luggage, have a tasty lunch at the cute restaurant/cafe next door, stock up on snacks at the nearby Family Mart and prepare ourselves for our evening flight and next leg of our trip. Room was spacious, clean, bed comfortable, English speaking channels on TV, small kitchen/sink area, good strong shower, staff were friendly, helpful and the free transfer service to the airport so helpful. We’d recommend for a convenient stopover any time.

Best place to stay when need a clean place near Phuket Airport”

I would highly recommend David Residence as a place to stay when you are waiting on a flight out of Phuket or arrived late at night and heading to other parts of Thailand. It was clean, had friendly staff, and provided a 5 minute free shuttle to the airport at ANY time of night.

You need to call David Residence once you arrived at airport for the free shuttle. Basic hotel for overnight stay suitable for midnight arrivals. Clean and friendly staff. The next day we hired their driver to send us to Club Med Phuket for 1k++ baht. Check the rate with the receptionist.

Best choice for Phuket red-eye arrival flight”

Our red-eye flight from Chengdu to Phuket arrives at 3am. Since we are traveling with our 2 years old daughter and 3 luggages, I booked this hotel for overnight stay near the airport. It turned out to be absolutely smart choice. The hotel staff picked us up from the airport 5-10min after I called them. All the staffs are very friends and helpful. The rooms are amazingly new and big and clean. We (including our daughter) had comfortable sleep until 8:30am, then the staff drove us to their partner-cafe for breakfast. At 10am, the staff called a city taxi and took us to our hotel in Bangdao beach. We would definitely stay here again, if we had another red-eye flight to Phuket.

New clean and comfy”

Stayed for a night due to late night arrival. Called to hotel upon retrieval of baggages as instructed, car arrival just 5 mins. Room and toilet are very clean, bed is comfy, balcony overlook the runway and of great view. Breakfast choices is good and is about 200 bahts per person with coffee. Noise of plane landing and departing is acceptable (to me it’s better street noise of most Phuket Resort). Used David ‘s transfer service to hotel in Patong Beach for 900 bahts in a brand new car. Would definitely come back if I hv early flight or late night arrival.

Nicest hotel for the price! Great location and service!”

I booked this after a late landing flight into Phuket Airport. It was raining pretty bad when I arrived. They sent a driver to pick me up, which arrived promptly and the driver helped me with my bags all the way up to my room. The hotel is very close to the airport. The room itself is impeccable, very clean and bright. My room even had a balcony with a small seating area. They provide two free water bottles and there is a mini fridge in the room. The only thing missing was hand soap in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. There is a lovely cafe on property with a great selection of food and drinks. They also have room service which I always love. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. I would definitely recommend it!

Overnight stay”

We arrived around midnight and needed a one night stay before heading off to Khao Sok National Park. David residence picked us up from the airport within 5 mins, checked us in quickly, and helped us with any questions. They had free shuttle to a restaurant the next day, and informed us of where to exchange money and buy a sim. Checking out at noon was perfect because our next check in was not till 2. All in all, very nice place, clean and very helpful. Would stay again.

Last night with a late/early AM flight”

We spent 2 weeks traveling through Vietnam and Thailand and needed place to stay before our 4AM flight out. David Residence was great! Best shower we had during our entire stay and a free shuttle to the airport (which is literally across the street!) Highly recommend staying here for that reason. Its not a place I would stay for an extended period of time though.

Perfect before early or after late flight Phuket”

We stayed the night before an early morning flight from Phuket and you can't get more convenient. They offer free shuttle to airport which although is only directly across the road so a 5min walk max, it's a busy road to cross. They don't have an onsite restaurant but also offer free shuttle to a nearby cafe with great food and coffee. Our room and ensuite were huge with a balcony overlooking the runway. Planes are arriving and departing at all hours. I am a light sleeper but it did not bother the rest of the family at all. The area around the hotel and airport is uninviting but of course a family mart etc conveniently nearby.

I stayed one night here and it’s for earlier flight purpose. They offered transport to airport, just let the receptionist know what is your flight time. Overall, this is a good stay at David Residence.

Perfect Airport Hotel”

We staying here one night after flying in at 2 AM. The hotel was perfect for what we needed. Very close to the hotel, shuttle service, and clean rooms. The rooms are very large and have clean beds and restrooms that were nice. Overall the hotel is great and if I make it back to Phuket I will consider staying here if I need somewhere close to the airport.

The hotel is right opposite to the airport. The room was cleanand well furnished and equiped. Most suitable for travellers to stay in David Residence when you arrived at Phuket in late night and transfer to another resort in next morning.

Great value for money, with very polite and helpful staff. And just a stone's throw from the airport. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at David Residence again.

Late arrival into Phuket.”

Arrived at midnight into Phuket, used this hotel to rest before going to Krabi. Beds comfortable clean rooms and hot shower. Excellent location walked to hotel visible from Terminals. Staff very helpful thank you. Then got taxi and enjoyed relaxed journey to Krabi in daylight. We are older travellers and prefer slow and easy. Good wifi so all web services work well.

Perfect airport stop”

You could not fault the whole set up. If there was a down side, which would apply to any hotel in the vicinity, Phuket airport is a 24 hour operation. Ear plugs are essential if you want a good nights sleep.

Great layover experience”

I was traveling through and had a long layover I. Phuket and decided on this for lodging. They provided shuttle service from the airport and drop off before your departure. It was clean and staff was friendly. Very close to the airport and suited me well for my short stay.
