NO NO NO NO NO NO”
The positive side of this scam is you'll never find something worse than that. The negative side is having to keep living in this world after this experience. This is an elaborated scam, full of fake opinions. My room was completely different than in the picture, it had cigarette butts in the floor, shit in the toilet, and the worst possible smell of tabacco. The beds have no sheets so it stinks to the previous people. The space is so small my luggage could not fit. The humidity and dense air will make you vomit. This is the worst hotel of my life and I spent night in $1 guesthouses in Lao or Cambodia. They charged me 70€ per night, I paid 3 nights and I left after the first one because I rather sleep over a newspaper in a shoebox on the bottom of the sewers.

Very good overall but room is small”
If you are really not that picky or choosy when it comes to hotel then this should be enough already. The hotel is located in Chung King Mansion. The place is strategically located in Tsim Sha Tsui Station. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Tsim Sha Tsui station is just literally infront of the bldg. Commuting is no hassle at all. Room is a bit small but very clean and new. Staffs (Filipina) are very friendly and helpful. We got our disneyland ticket from them at a cheaper price. They also provide trasnfer from and to the airport at a cheaper price. Unlinited coffee, tea and water. Room is being cleaned everyday. Airconditioning is cold and bed is clean. Shower with heater. Room with safety deeposit box and lcd cable TV. Nothing to worry at night bec there are a lot of people on the street. Almost perfect for this hostel. My only problems are: 1. Elevator - you have to wait for 10-15 (approx) mins before you can ride the elevator. 2. Ground area - lobby of the bldg is a bit unwelcoming for tourist as there are a lot of Muslims and Indian people offering you this or that. It just feels a bit unsafe. Good thing there's a 24 hr securitry and a cctv. Overall, I say this hotel is fine. What spend a lot for your hotel if you're out the whole day and just going to sleep in the hotel?

Location is superb”
Day and Nite is a great choice for accommodation when visiting Hong Kong. From here, guests can enjoy easy access to all that the lively city has to offer. A heaven of rest and relaxation, the hotel will offer total renewal just steps away from the city's numerous attractions such as Chungking Mansions, Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station, Peninsula Hong Kong. Day and Night Hotel is located on 8th n 10th floor of Chungking Mansion in the building full of budget hotels. The hotel itself smell cleans. The room is small but by HK standard more than acceptable which all clean and passable. The staff (especially Manjit and Jen) are also very friendly and accommodating, even fulfilling our request for a room with a window. The in-room Wifi reception is superb. We really enjoyed for the 13 nights stayed at this hotel. We also can easily eat halal muslim food at the ground floor of the building.

Don't worry about the building, this hotel is top”
I stayed in this hotel so often already and wrote so many reviews in which I mentioned the top value for money, the free WiFi, the equipment of the rooms including fridge, and of course Sherie, John, Cristy, and the rest of the staff who let you feel welcomed throughout your stay. So now I would like to write a few things to avoid someone being disappointed when arriving or staying here. First of all, the building. If you arrive the first time at the Chungking Mansions you might be a bit... overwhelmed. It looks quite chaotic and there are all these hawkers asking you whether you need a room. But just ignore all of that, because I assure you that the Day and Night Hotel is really great. The elevators can be a problem because they are quite small, but for going down you can go through the hotel, exit it in Block E and take the elevator there, it's often less crowded. And there are staircases as well, I use them sometimes. The second thing I should mention is the room size. Rooms are generally small in Hong Kong. If you want a big room you have to be rich. So please keep in mind that the rooms are small here. But they are very clean and in a top condition and of course with a (small) private bathroom

Best hotel in this price range in HK”
Compared with other hotels with similar room rates the Day and Night Hotel is the best one in the whole of Hong Kong, as well as all other hotels belonging to the Dhillon Group, as I stated already in my previous reviews written 2012-2015. The WiFi is fast, the rooms are clean and who thinks they are too small doesn't know Hong Kong, and most importantly the staff is very kind, I always feel welcomed by John and Sherie. So I can recommend everyone who needs a room with top value for money to stay in one of the hotels of Dhillon Group

Absolutely Valuable for Money”
Location is great! Strategically next to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station that makes it so convenience to travel around Hong Kong. Walking distance to Avenue of Stars and Star Ferry Pier too. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the walls are fully tiles. They also properly kept and returned my charging cables for tablet and hp that I left in the room after checked out.

Comfortable and welcoming”
My stay at this hotel was great. The location was very close to the MTR which made for easy access to the rest of the city, easy access to the airport, and the room itself was impeccably clean. Also, the staff was very accommodating and helpful while in the duration of my stay and I would not only recommend this hotel to other travelers, but would almost certainly book at this hotel again if and when I returned to Hong Kong. The hotel was a little hard to find though as I forgot that the place was located INSIDE the place called Chungking Mansions which upon arriving in Tsim Sha Tsui. I must have walked by the place I don't know how many times. However, I did eventually find it and was able to check in. My biggest tip for those who get lost! Look for I Square (a shopping mall) on Nathan Road. The Chungking Mansions will be exactly opposite of I Square. If looking for this place at night was), look for the same place and the sign for Chungking Mansions will be lit in red. Walk in and just ask one of the security guards where the Day & Night Hotel is. * Just be forewarned that there are many touts hanging around the entrance to Chungking Mansions trying to sell you stuff. Best advice? Just ignore them and they'll usually leave you alone. Otherwise enjoy your stay! The hotel is in a great location and makes for a great jump off point to the many sights in HK.

Super clean. Easy access. Quiet. Very Nice!”
Easy to reach from airport bus A21 is cheap and runs often and drops off right in front of the place at stop #14. Same bus back to airport just the other side of the street. The room was spotlessly clean and mine was quiet no traffic noise at all. The staff was super friendly and even had pre-printed maps with directions to sights. Don't miss going to see The Peak... way up over the city.... so easy to reach from there, and cheap.... walk to Star Ferry in 5 minutes (cost about 30 cents U.S.) then take a bus right there at drop off, way up to the top of city where there's a beautiful mall, food of so many kinds (a bakery in the mall that has amazing hot bar-b-q pork pie for about $1 and fresh egg pie as well) and amazing views from the peak for pictures. Yes the room was tiny as others note, but that's Hong Kong. The mattress was soooo comfortable and clean sheets, towels, even free toothbrush and paste waiting for you. Yes lots of guys outside the hotel asking if you have a room or need a watch or drugs even, but they are ok guys just trying to survive. If you come in late at night it seems a bit dodgey walking to the elevators through the closed market, but nobody ever bothered me, and always lots of people coming and going. Tons of shopping, food, grocery store and transportation all within a stone's throw of the hotel. It's in the famous Chungking mansion, which is a giant building divided into many hotels and a ground floor shopping area. Yes the elevators can have a line at times, but sometimes not. Also walk 5 minutes to the harbor for the city lights show every night at 8pm. If you are spoiled and have no budget restrictions, then go to the Sheraton next door. Otherwise don't hesitate to stay at this fine place.

Best hotel in the area”
The Day and Night Hotel and the other hotels belonging to it like Days Hotel, Germany Hostel etc. are just the best in the area with a top value for money. The rooms are clean and in a good condition, many of them are quite new, there's even a fridge on the room, and all rooms have free WiFi which is mostly relatively fast. Most importantly, the staff is very kind, Sherie, John, and Cristy make you feel welcomed. I always come back here when I stay in Hong Kong, and whenever someone asks me for a good hotel I recommend the Day and Night Hotel

The best hostel in the area”
I didn’t stay in this hotel that night, I had to change my flight to Hong Kong, but I stayed there already several times, so I can write a review, which is important for them, probably because they know that it would be a good review. I will write it only about the hotel, because the conditions in the Chungking Mansions need getting used to. The staff is very kind, so you feel welcomed. The rooms are very small, as usual in the building, but very clean, and many of them are new. The bathroom is small and clean as well, there is a water heater for the shower, don’t forget to turn on the switch next to the door. Furthermore, the air condition works very well, in the default setting too well, but you can change it at the unit. The Wi-Fi is fast, sometimes with a few interruptions, but generally it works well. So I can only recommend this hostel, since it’s the best one in the Chungking Mansions, and I wouldn’t recommend the Mirador Mansions, so it’s probably the best one in the area.

The Best Hotel to stay in HK for Backpackers”
The hotel is centrally located in Nathan Road. If you want to go to the HK Cultural Center, Harbour and Avenue of the stars, just turn left and walk for 5-10mins. The MTR is just across the street. You just need to walk inside iSquare. We mainly used the MTR because we want to save time. Here's our itinerary for our 3Day trip. Day 1 - Macau Day 2 - Ocean Park / Victoria Peak Day 3 - Disneyland / Lantau Island On Day 1, we arrived in the hotel early in the morning and we need to quickly settle our things because we need to leave for Macau ASAP (We're going to watch the Pacquioa fight). Luckily, we met Jen (a Filipina hotel attendant) and she helped us secure our booking and luggages. On Day 2, we missed to buy tickets to Ocean Park, but Jen and Rowena assisted us with the ticket purchase. Dev provided us with discounted tickets. We even payed the tickets after our trip. On Day 3, Ms. Sherrie, the Filipina hotel admin, provided us with helpful information going to Lantau (Ngong ping) and also informed us to use the bus (A21) going back to the airport. She said is way cheaper and time of travel is the same, which is very true! Overall, our stay was fantastic. The hotel attendants are extremely friendly and attentive to your needs. The internet service is the fastest that I have ever experienced in any hotel. The room is quite small but in my understanding, you will not be staying much in your room. You will be just sleeping for 4-6 hours and be on travel or on a shopping spree. The hotel is very ideal for backpackers who just need a place to rest for the night. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be coming back next year and we will stay here again. Thanks to Jen, Ms. Sherrie, Rowena and Dev for making our stay comfortable and hastle-free.
