“DS67 Suites- 2 minute walk from Phra Khanong BTS ”
Location & Safety The hotel is located in a safe and secure area, just a 2-minute walk from Phra Khanong BTS station. Upon arrival, there is a doorbell on the left-hand side—staff will promptly let you in to check in. Each time you return, you’ll need to ring the bell again, which adds an extra layer of security. To exit, there is a red button on the right-hand side. It’s placed high enough that young children cannot easily reach it, making the property especially safe for families. Breakfast Breakfast was lovely and offered a good variety: toast, sunny-side-up eggs, stir-fried noodles, hot dogs, ham, cereal, orange juice, milk, and at least two types of fruit daily. The staff are attentive and thoughtful, ensuring the area doesn’t become too congested (as the space near the elevator can be a bit narrow during busy times). If you’re using the toaster, they may ask you to sit down and will bring your toast to you. The same goes for coffee—there’s a strong espresso machine available, and you can adjust it with water to your preference. Room The room was very clean and well-equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, TV, safe, and fresh towels. If you’re not familiar with how electricity works in many hotels in Thailand, you’ll need to insert your room key into a slot near the light switch to activate power. The air conditioning cools the room quickly, so it’s not an issue. We requested no daily cleaning, and whenever we needed items like towels, bottled water, or toilet paper, the staff were always happy to assist and very kind. Only Complaints The bed frame has quite sharp corners—be careful, as it’s easy to bump into and get hurt. We moved the ottoman to cover the corner for safety. Unfortunately, we did end up staining the bedsheet due to a minor injury, but the staff were understanding and reassured us there would be no charge. Additionally, the showerhead did not stay in place well; the water pressure caused it to drop, which made showering a bit inconvenient. Things to Be Aware Of At check-in, you’ll be given a list of potential charges for damaged items. Some of the fees are quite high, so it’s worth being cautious. In particular, the shower gel and shampoo dispensers can be a bit loose—press them gently, as they may slide off. Luckily, I was able to catch mine each time! Overall A safe, clean, and well-managed stay with attentive staff. Just be mindful of a few small details, and you’ll have a very comfortable experience.
