Friendly n helpful staff + location”

Everyone who visits Berlin should stay in this hotel. All the staff teams are very professional, friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the location is the BEST - right next to the main shopping street with everything within walking distance. I stayed for 3 nights, used many of the services n never felt so comfortable in a hotel before. Even the room service food was yummy. Too bad I didnt have time to check out the swimming pool. For sure I will stay in Bristol Berlin Hotel again when I return to this city! (NB: I gave 4* for cleanliness since this is an old hotel n I thought there is a little room for improvement on the furniture. )

One week stay, Premium room.”

Loved my stay there. Everything was great, cleanness, location....There is no a con side really...,just to mention that I missed most the coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Lately many hotels are having them, and I have become accustomed to the convenience....The management should consider them....I would mention a couple of other things that I was surprised, not bothered, I consider them not important, but the management might want to have a look into them : Some of the channels on the TV did not work good , not even the INFO channel....(in the center of Berlin, wow???/!!). ,,,there is a lack of information about the hotel in the room (only room service)., and the amount of toiletries... is surprisingly minimal for a 5 star hotel. I would consider Bristol next time I plan a trip to Berlin.

Elegant Hotel w/large lovely room”

Beautiful hotel room with ample drawers and lovely vintage furniture accents , two lit art niches, crown molding, nice reading chair and large all granite bathroom With two sinks. Very responsive staff and great concierge. Will only stay at the Bristol when we visit Berlin! We stayed in a much more expensive hotel at the beginning of our trip and much prefer the Bristol for the location, quality, ambience and service.

Luxurious hotel in fantastic location”

We stayed in the Kempinski Bristol Hotel in Berlin for 4 nights during Christmas time and enjoyed our stay very much! The hotel is perfectly located directly at the Kudamm close to major shopping area, restaurants, tourist sights etc. The rooms are a bit outdated but nice and luxurious with everything you need. The breakfast buffet, which was included in the room rate was very nice with lots of choice and fantastic quality! All in all I can highly recommend this hotel because of the location, room rate, service and restaurant quality.

Conservative luxury hotel at Kurfürstendamm”

Kempinsky Hotel Bristol has once been one of the finest hotels in Berlin. It has still the feeling of great luxury, but the overall impression is a little bit dusty (or conservative). The lobby was impressive, but dark, and with too little seating. The breakfast buffet was OK, it even included sekt (German champagne) and special made coffees. Lots of fruit, nuts, yoghurts, but smaller selection of bread, cheese and hot dishes. I have seen it better and cheaper elsewhere. Pool was medium sized and OK, with two saunas. No fitness center. No coffee maker in room. The worst: No free internet, not even in the common areas.

This was no doubt one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Huge thanks to Marcel at Reinhardts for making my birthday a memorable one and the food was sublime!! we upgraded the room to one of the newer rooms and it was well worth the extra money. the swimming pool was sometimes very full at the end of the day but the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin. Thanks to all at the Bristol for a wonderful experience.

Classic Hotel with Efficient Staff and Good Spa Facilities”

I immediately was able to relax upon settling in my average-sized room at the reputable Kempinski Bristol Ku'Damm. Best value for money in Berlin with first class amenities and attentive staff!

Old Fashioned, but still on TOP”

The BAR had a Worldcup Event, the Pool was perfect and the Sauna /Hammam are just the best around. Harry the Pool-Master is always most professional now for 27 years. The Breakfast was long ago OUTSOURCED to the Joint on the Kurfürstendamm-Corner, Reinhard's, and that has drawbacks, not only the Frühstücks-Buffet pricing and the awful dissappearance of the white table cloth in the Bottschaft section. BRING THE TABLECLOTH back, and drop the price to €17-18 for Bristol House Guests. (in fact, some rates include free breakfast buffet, just make sure you get that bonus without the rip-off)

A very comfortable Stay”

We arrived late having booked at the last minute due to Eurowings cancelling our flight whilst we were on the plane! The staff when we arrived were very attentive, nothing was too much problem, even at 11:30 at night. We were shown our room which was clean, comfortable and quiet. We experienced the Pool and Spa the following day which was excellent, somewhere to unwind The locality was excellent, plenty of breakfast places, restaurants and luxury shopping. The 109 bus was within 50 metres, which took you straight to the airport, the U-Bahn is also extremely close as well. If I return to Berlin, this will be the hotel of choice

The best location”

If you like to enjoy Berlin in few days, this is the best value. You have hop on-off bus right next to the hotel to see most of the beautiful places of Berlin for only 22euros for 3 hours max. The hotel itself has warm atmosphere, helpful staff. Would definitely come back again.

Really nice hotel, charming”

The hotel has a charming ambience with comfortable lounge areas and the breakfast room is lovely. Rooms small but very well appointed and comfortable. Perfect location for central Berlin, easy walking distance to many attractions and downtown.

Fantastic hotel in central Berlin”

Our stay was very comfortable - no problems or disappointments whatsover! Very nice ,spacious junior suite as booked , lovely breakfast buffer until 11o' clock every morning! Friendly staff in recepripn and bars! Perfekt location right in the middel of Berlins western part!

Central hotel”

Great first impression from hotel and staff. Only a few minutes walk from main bus station. If you like shopping then probably the best location to be in Berlin. Room might be dated in décor to some people's taste but cannot fault it. My only disappointment was when using the pool, I realised the sauna was mixed and naked - I'm probably too British for this so did not use! We would stay there again though.

Perfect location and friendly staff”

The hotel is located in the middle of centrum and walking distance to alot of attractions. The staff were very proffesional and friendly. The breakfast was also very good. You got the feeling of beeing in a restaurant(and you basically were) and waitress came all the time offered omelet, cofee, etc. The rooms were nice and clean. We had a business suit with 2 separate rooms, wich were ideal considering having a 11 month child with us. Can highly recommend the hotel. Only downside is some flies at the breakfast buffe, but we dont mind that so much.

Wonderful hotel. We have been staying at the former Kempinsky several times before it changed the name to Bristol.

Amazing location ”

We had a great time here at the Bristol centrally located to restaurants bars and shops. Hop on hop off bus is just around the corner and definitely worth using for an overview of this fabulous city

The NAME change to Bristol did not bring much advancements”

Too bad, that the breakfast location, next door at Reinhard's has had a theft, in that the clean white tablecloth were purloigned, by - according to staff - a management decision, obviously by a person who skipped "classy and upscale" during Hotellerie school. Very bad, and clumsy, especially since Reinhard's is a third party "provider" who was part of the outsource-scheme a decade ago. BRISTOL makes a (heavy) mark-up over the breakfast buffet provided by Reinhard's. Not good and now worse without blankets.

The Bristol is comfortable, good value, has friendly staff and is excellently located. Will be back.

Lovely hotel, old fashioned charm”

I have now stayed at the Kempinsky twice within the last 12 months. The second time, I booked through Agoda and it made all the difference to my perception. It's a great hotel, but can be expensive. Rooms are nice, warm and well equipped. The staff are outstanding and the bar obviously seems to be an institution. I would definitely come again, provided I could get the right deal!

Great potential ”

Great location (easy for busses and trains too, as well as Tegel Airport, which we used) and a good hotel. Feels a little dated ( hence the mark on value for money) and the amenities were closed (this the low mark) for renovation which meant we were able to use them. What this hotel misses out on, was made than made up by the wonderful staff who were generally great! A regular ramp for disabled guests or push chairs would be brilliant. I think we would be back again if we are in Berlin again.
