Good hotel, great service (at buffet)”
Rooms are comfortable and the hotel looks to have good measures against covid; cleaning of surfaces looked ok to me. Due to covid, you get assistance at the buffet, which works good and the same waiters take also care for (re)filling your drinks, running around for your service. Very appreciated! The hotel was recently renewed, but general maintenance (stains and scratches) in the common areas could be on a higher lever for a 5-star rated hotel. Next to the hotel, demolition/building activities are ongoing. For me it was a good stay and I know were to stay in case of a next visit to Athens.

Excellent Business Hotel”
Perfect amenities for business users. Pool was lovely and staff were brilliant and attentive to every need. Special shout out to the front desk, Clodiana and Ioannis who were excellent during my stay.

Great stay”
Overall, was great stay. Breakfast at the restaurant on the 8th floor was amazing, but dinner was kind of very limited selection. Lounge/bar at the lobby was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. My husband asked them to arrange flower, cake and champagne for my birthday and they did wonderful job. Location is good. 15 minutes walk to the Acropolis. Also close to few restaurants, 2-5minutes walk.

Grand Hyatt Athens doesn't meet the standard of the Hyatt Hotel”
Negative 1.Location is bad. There is no convenient public traffic to use. It is only suitable for car users. 2.Very noisy. The hotel is near a big road. The traffic noise is almost 24 hours. We stayed in the middle of the hotel, and we could not sleep well. 3.Not clean enough. It seems that the hotel doesn't use a vacuum cleaner to clean the room usually. 4.The water is not provided every day. 5.The staffs are not well trained. At the second day, I complained about the noise. The first reply of the staff did not ask me about the reason but assumed it directly "That is because of the construction nearby. That noise is not from our hotel." She tried to lead the problem to another direction. Positive 1. This hotel has been renovated. It is new. I have to say the hardware is quite good. 2. The staffs are nice. (Maybe not well trained as the one above mentioned.) 3. The breakfast is wonderful. 4. You should try the swimming pool on the top roof.

Surprised that GH sited in such a sketchy neighbourhood ”
I often stay at Hyatt properties and am a fan. Relatively inexpensive room rate for the Grand Hyatt. The facilities look ok although we didn’t use much of it. The room was clean, as expected, but there was clear damage to the wardrobe door next to the front door. I was at first surprised then curious of how GH Housekeeping didn’t notice it. At check-in, there was a group of youths that walked in to Enquire room rates. They sounded rough and combined with the sketchy neighbourhood this property is situated in, I realised that some of the guests staying here may not care too much about taking care of hotel property. Staff seemed new and not well trained. Perhaps this is a franchisee problem.

Very much disappointed many things ex 1 1) dirty floor. not well cleaned bath room. 2) outside constructing building very noisy 3) I called operator but she ignore my request 4) cleaner never say greetings 5) far from city far from Metro 6) outside taxi badly request overpay. overall this hotel is lower class

Room temperature in November ”
Be ready if you travel started in November all hotels basically turn off all their AC. All rooms temperature are just to warm for us and when you open the windows then you get those traffic noises from outside!
