“Good room, limited food options”
Was here for 2 nights with my mom and my son. We took high speed rail and opted for hotel complimentary pickup from HSR station. First impression of the hotel was actually not so great as the staff who came to pick us did not greet, nor offered help to settle our luggage. He just opened the car door and stood there waited for us to climb in, and then closed the door. Hotel check in process was swift. Front desk staff was friendly. We reached earlier than the check in time so the intended room was not ready yet. The staff made arrangement to shift us to another room which was ready first, so we didn’t need to wait for so long. Room was clean and spacious. TV was pathetic, as it can only power up by pressing the bottom button of the TV, as it was not responding to the remote control. Have feedback this to the hotel and a staff came over try to troubleshoot. It worked on the spot, and after the staff left, it didn’t work anymore 😂 Worthy to note that the hotel has very limited food options, a cafe at L1, and a restaurant at L2. Restaurant only serves buffet. We took buffet dinner in our first night, and lunch buffet in our second day. While the taste was decent, the spread of first day dinner and second day lunch were absolutely the same, like 95% identical. Which was a bit disappointing. Room service menu was rather limited as well. We dialed for room services on the second day for breakfast. Reception transferred my call to the restaurant who would take my order. But I was waiting on the line for a good 30-40 seconds with no one picking up from the restaurant. Since the call didn’t get through, we have decided to walk to a nearby 7-11 for some ready meal. Would recommend this hotel if you are not particular about food options. Overall experience still pretty okay.
