I stayed 5 days and have been reflecting on what to say in this review. I want to say abosolute no, but after staying for 5 days. I want to give this hotel a chance. First impression of the room, i was genuinely spooked, scared of supernatural disturbances and want to gtfo. It was very gloomy in the room, very dim, wooden old furniture from the past. Toilet is dim with very old tiles. It can actually pass for a korean horror movie apartment. As i arrived late in the night. The fam stayed. The next day, with daylight room got brighter, no longer spooked. Then took a shower and head out. Things got better. And we completed the stay. Hotel staff is good and helpful. Getting grab to and from the hotel is a breeze. Close to everywhere. Walkable distance to maya mall and one nimman area. Daughter loved the pool, albeit the water not crystal clear, not too sure if its the water or the tiles. Gym has old equipment but functional. Lifts are good and fast. Checkout is literally 20 seconds. Hence , i cant find fault with the hotel except it just feel old physically but operationally , its all good. We stayed in a 2 bedroom hotel room. Ask yourself, you want a hip hotel, this is not for you. If you want to reminisce older days and if you are feeling adventurous, maybe yes.
With the price that is being offered this month ( August ) it’s very good , hotel is not new but it’s great place for few days or weeks to stay in. Rooms are big cleaning every day, breakfast is worth of 200 Thai bhat. You are not far from city with all restaurants & shops. Maya shopping mall it’s only a 10 minutes walk.
This is a very good hotel and I would highly recommend stay here. We had selected room with breakfast and the staff made special vegetarian item for us everyday and catered to our special requests without any issues. Tou could see that the best days of the hotel are behind it. Lot of georgeous decorations but their age is very obvious. The service however is befitting a five star hotel.
We stayed 5 days at this hotel, it is a bit older than some, the room we were in was enormous two bedroom and slept 6 comfortably. I the food options were expected, a western/Asian breakfast buffet was good and had many options. During our stay we were the only westerns that we saw during our stay. Hotel is very popular with Japanese and Chinese visitors. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a local neighborhood, easy walk to more public destinations in Chiang Mai. The hotel is very good value if you don't mind it being a bit older.

“Staff were really amazing”
Despite multiple issues popping up, such as a giant roach in my room at 3am, and the power going out the next night at 11:30pm, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to assist. At 3am they sent someone to my room with bug spray to kill the roach, and also febreeze for the bug spray smell. Etc. They were all super responsive and helpful. The hotel is very nice and I had a good stay. Very clean, though I did not like the wax they use for the floors. It was too squeaky and got on my feet. If you like wearing shoes inside it should be no issue.
