I lived in Thailand for a while and when I am traveling to Bangkok I always stay here, staff is really professional and I am glad that after so many months some of them are still there! Kudos to the new manager Mariaa, she is always ultra professional and really helpful, the other staff members are also very nice. The hotel is located 5 minuts walking from Terminal21 shopping mall, is a nice walk and not difficult to reach; there are also the skytrain (Asoke) and metro (Sukhumvit) stations which are very comfortable in order to travel around the city; it is one stop aways from the interchange station (Phetchaburi) where you will take the skytrain from/to the airport, so convenient! Room is spacious and the bed is one of the most comfortable I have come across in Thailand; shower has good pressure and bathroom is refurbished with amenities every day. Also has minifridge with TV with many channels (in English language too) and kettle plus tea/coffee. What to say, I definitely recommend this place and now the swimming pool has reopened which is a plus!

We enjoyed our stay at the Galleria 12, the staff are polite, friendly, and one of the door men was very jovial and kind. We did ask for the staff to help us call a cab because we could not speak Thai to the driver, because we could not speak Thai. We were kindof surprised that they could not help us. There is a laundry nearby that cleans, folds and irons all your clothes, whatever is needed. The pool is located by the lobby and unfortunately next to the dining room which made it uncomfortable for us to want to swim. I wished I could use the pool if it had been more private. Our room was hot and didnt cool down when we slept, this made it difficult to sleep. We had booked the largest suite, paid the most money for their rooms and we had to change rooms 3 times to find a room with working AC. The second room was a smaller size, even though they said it was the same square footage - it just didn't look like the images we saw in Agoda. We were expecting the largest room with a separate sitting area closer to a TV. They have many different sized rooms for different prices that are not well defined in each picture, and variable levels of working AC.

Down a small alley and away from the roaring madness of Sukhumvit Road, the hotel was perfect for my writing retreat. After a month in Chiang Mai’s old city, I was accustomed to sharing the street with motorbikes, til tuks, cars and taxis. If you’re not comfortable with that, the alley might not be appealing to you. Nice clean pool, which I had to myself most days; small but adequate fitness room with a universal machine, dumbbells, bench, and treadmill. Street food stalls and 2 restaurants in the alley, 7-11 at the corner with Sukhumvit. Up and over pedestrian overpass to Terminal 21 Mall and its spectacular 5th floor food court. Laundry service with reasonable prices also in the alley. Hotel buffet breakfast was $199 THB but I never tried it. Helpful front desk staff. I’d stay again.
