Considered as cheap for how it looks like. Cozy and Comfy bed and there a big bath tub too. Owner is nice and friendly too. He drove us to our next destination for free. Huge thanks to owner. They also have netflix and sofa.

Great host + gorgeous place! ”
Everything is automated, you wouldn't see any staff but the owner is very prompt in replying and solving any issues you have. Very smooth process, I actually love the way the minsu is ran. Place is 5mins away from the night market and literally a min walk from the beach but kinda far from the train station, though it wasn't that much of an issue. Rooms are great for its price, there's even a living area for eating or hanging out if you don't want to eat in your room. Thank you for the great stay!

Host - Great communication. Clear instructions. Responded within an hour. Accommodation - Nice and spacious. Location - Steps away from the coast and night market. 10-15mins walk from downtown. Would stay here again on my next trip.

Best stay throughout my 2 weeks”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Glenivy. The host was very helpful and he helped me to book a day trip to Taroko and the nearby areas for a very good price. He also helped to introduce me to the obike which help me to get around the city very easily. The room was very clean, quiet and bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when i am back in hualien. By the way, breakfast was good and healthy too.

Very safety place , clean and big room, staff is very good service, has sevice mind...We are appreciated. Closed to night market, walk 5 mins...Closed to the beach too...Need only mirror in room not only in bathroom... will be perfect place that do not miss when visit Hualien City in Taiwan...

Great place to stay”
There were 13 of us, so we rented the whole place, which consisted of 3 doubles and 2 quads. Pros: -Great location (5-10 min walking distance to the night market) -Near the seaside (stay on the 3rd/top floor quad room and you get to see the beautiful sea) -spacey rooms with super comfortable king size beds. They are just as you see in the pictures, beautiful, comfortable, clean, cozy -healthy breakfast -safe, electronic coded doors for every room -they provide clean bath and face towels every day, indoor slippers, good shampoo & bath, hair dryer, daily bottled water, water dispenser, mini-fridge in each room, etc Cons: -no proper cups/mugs (they only provided paper cups) -maybe not suitable for older people, they only have a double room on the 1st floor (or ground floor, depending on which country you are from). So you have to climb stairs to all the other 4 rooms.

The location is good, near the city and night market (in walking distance). Staff very helpful and accommodating. You can walk to the beach from Glenivy B&B and enjoy the weather. Breakfast only sandwich and salad but thats ok. Nice place to stay before/after you go to Taroko.

good location but not recomend for folks first time travel to hualien ”
good location to DongDaMeng Night market, about 10 minutes easy walk.Beach is just across the road..Local old market with lots of local food is around 15 to 20 minutes walk. (very near to starbucks and 85C) No nearby 7-11 or 24hr convinient store, u need to walk for around 15 to 20 minutes. No washing machine and no bicycles available. We saw others B&B next door with coins washing machines and free use of bicycles. Self service check in, they WhatsApp in the morning the password for .main gate, main door and room. Basically you don't see the owner at all, either u call or WhatsApp. This is not convenient especially for those first time travelling to hualien that need some advices. I booked 2 rooms- twin and quad both were good sizes, and clean. However the twin room aircone was not cool and the guy sent over checked and saying the aircone working well despite the room is NOT cool at all! Anyway that was happen at the last night and we decided not to argued.

All perfect, we got the breakfast that was sandwiches and salad or fruit and a tea. For the checking you just need to text him and get the key details. The room was well equipped with a comfortable bed and bath shower as in the shower. You just cross the street and can see the views of the beach. All perfect thank you.

The host Alan was very helpful, accomodating, and he speaks good English. The room is cozy and the bed is very comfortable. It is near to Hualien's biggest night market, so getting dinner is not a problem. Morning walk/jog by the seaside is highly recommend as it is just few hundred metres from the waterfront. Breakfast was served at 730am: sandwiches, fruits & tea. All is good. Highly recommended.

The room was lovely!!! Location was great as it was walking distance to the beach and night market. We also walked to some parts of town as it was walkable. Communication was swift and a breeze as they contacted us prior to check-in. Also, they would buy breakfast and place it on the table for us in takeaway packages which is awesome because we could walk to the beach and enjoy our breakfast on the many benches there. Overall, very satisfied with the stay and the room! Would recommend this accommodation :)

Wonderfully clean room with comfortable couch and bed! The bathroom and main room were both very large. The view from the room was great! Also, communications with the management were very prompt and helpful-- he helped connect us to a great driver/tour guide for a Taroko tour. Early check-in was provided, which was lovely.

we come with trip of 5 pax, but really hard to find suitable room type. we decide to take family room for 4 and we chose this homestay. They didn't charge us for additional pax, even prepare one more set breakfast for us. and they help introduce us the driver for day trip traveling to Taroko & Ruisui.

Clean and quiet”
Room is clean with simple breakfast provided. Location is very near the coast with good views and short walk to night market. Could have more hooks in the room but overall great stay. Owner is very responsive too.

The room is very cozy and comfortable, close to the beach and the night market just in a few mins walk. The only down side is the breakfast was sent in package in the morning and isn't much choices.
