I love the location! Right on Shen Ning street, where there are many (good) food options nearby. Many places I wanted to visit were also walkable on foot. Room is tastefully decorated and very clean. I had a comfortable stay throughout my trip. If you drink, it’s also very convenient to get a drink downstairs at the bar before heading up for a good night’s rest. Sound proofing might be an issue for some, though the bar closes at 11 pm. I had a little hiccup during my trip, where no one answered the door despite me pressing the doorbell multiple times when I arrived. As I did not have a local phone number, I had to scramble to borrow a phone from a local before the owner finally came to the door (she was upstairs and did not hear the bell) Would suggest travellers to contact them to inform your arrival time prior to your trip to make your journey smoother. The owner kindly upgraded me to a bigger room since there was a spare though, so I appreciated that. There’s a narrow flight of stairs up to the rooms so people with big luggages might want to be careful. Overall I had a good stay and would recommend this.
