Big room! Good to stay!!”
I came here for two night. It is close to the bus station so you don’t have to spend lots of time of walking. It is also very close to a convenience store. Room is pretty big as well as the bathroom. We had good nights. Definitely come back. Highly recommended!!!

This hotel takes care of it's customers! Great value for the price. The location is out away from Nambu Traditional Market and the Hanok Village but we knew that before booking. We would come back again.

Perfect for a weekend stay!”
Arirang Hotel is a great hotel situated near bus terminals (both Intercity and Express Bus Terminals are just within walking distance) so it is definitely a plus if you're lugging around some baggage. The room is clean and tidy and the staff is very approachable and helpful. We had some problems with our room wifi and the staff kindly assisted us on the matter. Though you may need some basic Korean language skills in communicating with the staff but overall we had a nice stay at the hotel.

Close to shopping ”
Even though it is only a 2 star, it's a nice hotel. It was clean very nice bathroom (clean with a tub). The room had a computer open to use which was nice. Bed was a little hard but the windows are sliding mirrors so even sleeping in the morning seems like 2am so you won't be woken up by light. No restuarant or pool. Free wifi is fast. The coffee/tea selection was the least favorite. No cups. Just 1 glass and 4 paper cups with 2 "3 in 1" coffees and 1 tea bag. Not sure the thinking there. I would stay again. A 7-11 is 20 meters from the hotel. There is also 12 parking spaces

Clean and quiet hotel near Long-distance Bus center”
Old facility but clean and well renovated room. Walking distance from LD bus terminal. Appropriate distance from main roads makes nights quiet. As elevator is out of front-desk (road side), be sure to lock your room. If you are a soft towel lover, bring one.

Friendly and helpful Hotel staff”
Goodstay Arirang Hotel is conveniently located near the Intercity Bus Terminal. This makes travelling to places of interest outside Jeonju easy. Arirang Hotel is quiet and clean. There is daily housekeeping and bath towels and bedsheets are changed everyday. The best feature of the hotel is its friendly and helpful staff. Mr Kim at the reception speaks a few words of English but as I was travelling alone, he made sure the taxi drivers knew where I wanted to go. Mr Kim went the extra mile to check bus timetables, and print out bus stop location for me. He even checked at the bus terminal which platform (there being many platforms) I had to wait for my intercity bus. My week in Jeonju was made all the more enjoyable because of the friendly and helpful service given by Mr Kim at the reception. Thank you.

This was our second stay at Goodstay Arirang Hotel. My wife and I stayed with a few friends, a different group of friends from our prior visit, and all our friends agree this is an ideal place to stay in Jeonju. The location is pretty good. It's not in the middle of downtown, but it's near the bus station, and it's quiet in the area. It's not far to walk to a main road to hail a cab or catch a bus. My main disappointment was in the breakfast. Last time we were here, the hotel offered a choice between a continental breakfast and a Korean style breakfast. This time there was no Korean style choice. I wonder if they stopped offering the choice or if the weekend we were there was so busy that they just offered one kind of breakfast (we were there during the Jeonju International Film Festival). The rooms are clean and spacious. My wife loves the sliding mirror panels that cover the window side of the room.

Goodstay Arirang doesn't disappoint me (well, except for the diminished breakfast choice issue I mentioned in my other review below this one). I don't know when I'll be in Jeonju again, but I'd likely stay at Goodstay Arirang again if I ever do make another trip to the birthplace of bibimbap. In addition to things I mentioned in the other review, the staff don't know a lot of English, but they are nevertheless helpful and kind. Even though there is no more Korean style choice for breakfast, the continental breakfast has more food choices than I remember from my last visit, and the taste isn't bad. The bathroom features a bathtub. It's not a big one to stretch your legs out if you're tall, but if you want to soak, it gets the job done.

it is absolutely a good-to-stay hotel in jeonju! really no regret after trying their warm guesting manner! with delicious breakfast, comfortable, clean and safe room! with best location which takes us only five minutes walk to both suburban and express bus terminals! of course the bus stops are just nearby too reaching nearly most attractions in jeonju! however the price is really at a good rate! no excuses not giving all top stars to arirang!

Friendly staff and great breakfast! We had a great stay and would stay again! We were able to go all around Jeonju from the Goodstay Arirang Hotel location. The central bus terminal is behind the hotel. Within walking distance of China Town and Nambu Market.

Highly recommended, comfortable, friendly staff”
The hotel is located near express bus terminal and inter city bus terminal therefore it is really convenient if you want to transfer to other cities in Korea. The room is big and clean. We chose the ondol room so we get to sleep on the mattress. The mattress is really thin so if you are not used to it, please do not book that. However, the friendly staffs are willingly to change the room for you. And also for the ondol room, there is no wifi. The staffs told us that it is because usually only the koreans will stay in the ondol room and thus they already have internet on their phone. The breakfast is quite limited so don't have too much expectation. We asked the staffs whether they can do some laundry for us, and they are more than willing to. My boyfriend and I will definitely stay there again if we ever go to Jeonju again. Highly recommended!

Exceptional”
When I asked if its possible to stay on highest floor with a room that I already booked, they upgraded my room. And everything was great. Facility & Location is perfect. Just walking about 5 minute, located behind jeonju intercity bus terminal (not express bus terminal). Its near hanok village jeonju, couple minutes by bus. When you check in, dont forget to ask breakfast time & breakfast spot & check out time, just to make sure you dont miss it (like me).

Our friends loved this place”
We were two couples at this hotel with two rooms. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The rooms were clean except for a small piece of wallpaper that was peeling away from the wall. It wasn't moldy at all, but dried out. The staff were friendly. The owner took immediate action to replace a desk lamp when our friend had his thumb electrocuted by the one in his room, and the breakfast cook was very generous. Speaking of breakfast, if you book a room with breakfast included, you can choose to eat just the standard continental breakfast food (fruit, toast, coffee), or you can ask to add a Korean breakfast (soup, rice, and four various side dishes) at no extra charge. The hotel is near some love motels, but our friends were glad that this hotel was not one (although in our bathroom, there was an etched glass artwork , although it doesn't stand out too much, but I want to warn any parents with young children). There is a small tub in the bathtub, but it doesn't have a shower curtain. Not a big problem because Korean bathrooms have drains in the floor, but if it bothers you, you should be warned. My wife and I came in on the train, so we weren't close to the hotel, but our friends came by bus. They loved the location because the hotel is right behind the bus terminal. And there is a bus stop a few minutes by foot from the hotel that has dozens of buses to take you throughout the city. If you want to walk about 30 minutes, it's a straight shot to get to Deokjin Park, where you can see (in the right season) a pond full of lotus flowers, and where you can ride a duck boat.

Located in the bus terminal area among dozen motels, Arirang for us was shining for the very neat and clean room. Towels replaced every day, room cleaned, very helpful and friendly people.

Good hotel with amazing service!”
On the morning that we were supposed to leave Jeonju, the taxi drivers went on strike. Without hesitation, the family running the hotel told us that they would drive us to the train station. Without them, we would have been stranded!

Clean, roomy, near the bus terminal”
Overall, this is your basic love motel but with a large room, balcony, clean modern bathroom, and the usual TV/PC. The beds were hard, as with most Korean love motels, but the location next to the bus terminal was extremely convenient. It's in a neighborhood full of other flashier motels, but those ones only rent by the hour. The owners were an older Korean couple who were very friendly and helpful. Great for a weekend trip to Jeonju!
