“Pet Friendly!”
I stayed here while quick renovations were ongoing at home, and I needed a pet-friendly place. I checked in late, around 8–9 PM, since I still had errands to finish. Cleanliness: The floor was a bit dusty, but the sheets were fairly clean—though they had a slightly musty smell, like they hadn’t dried completely. The bathroom fixtures are dated; you’ll notice blue residue around the shower holes, and the pipes under the sink are already rusty. Comfort: Considering the hotel is right in the middle of the city, outside noise wasn’t an issue at all. Hallway noise, however, is a different story—I could hear a couple really enjoying their stay while heading to breakfast 😅. That said, despite the outdated fixtures, the water pressure was excellent, and both hot and cold water worked perfectly, which is honestly all I need in a hotel bathroom. Staff Service: Everyone was extremely friendly—from the security guard who helped with parking (which is quite challenging), to the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff. Smiles all around, which really made a difference. Location: Very close to Robinsons, downtown, and the two new markets. Everything I needed to get done in the city was within reach, which is especially helpful if you’re from out of town. Breakfast Quality: There are only four breakfast choices, but since the room was for two and I was staying alone, I got to try all of them. Simple, plated meals, but still good and filling. Wi-Fi: Top-notch. I was able to squeeze in a few hours of work over the weekend without any issues. Parking: You’ll want to arrive early to secure a spot. For nearby places that aren’t walkable, taking a cab is more convenient. The guard was very helpful in assisting me find spots—even squeezing into the alley beside the hotel. Elevator Wait Time: Not long at all. The building only has five storeys. Who this place is good for: Solo travelers: Safe enough, and pet-friendly Couples: Comfortable bed despite the slightly musty sheets Business travelers: Easy access to key city locations Would I stay again? Yes. The pet fee is only ₱300, breakfast is decent, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you want more options. Next time, I’ll check in earlier so I won’t hesitate to ask for a sheet change or a quick sweep and mop if needed. Overall, it’s a decent stay, and I’d come back if the need arises.
