I stayed at a reasonable price and I thought the cost performance was very good. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. I noticed the typical smell of seaside accommodations when I first entered the elevator and the room, but after a while, the smell faded away in the room. The restaurant on the first floor runs out of most menu items by lunchtime. The pool behind the hotel is small but pleasant. Nowadays, many hotels have a lot of foreign guests, and there were groups enjoying the night pool in the evening.
During my first trip to Ishigaki Island as a solo female traveler, I had various anxieties. However, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, recommending delicious Okinawan restaurants and even making phone calls to confirm their hours, which was truly appreciated and reassuring. There were two intimidating men in the parking lot next to the pool, which made me feel like I was being watched, so unfortunately, I was too scared to go into the pool. Aside from that, the accommodation fee was incredibly reasonable, and the amenities and laundry services were well-equipped. There was even a complimentary ice service, and the place was bright and clean. Overall, the staff were very friendly and kind, and I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again. I’m really glad I chose this place!
I had no sense of direction at all, so I decided based on breakfast options and price, and it turned out to be the right choice. The hotel is located on the southern side of the island and is easy to access the city. If you have a specific purpose, that's one thing, but we just wanted to roughly explore the entire island for now, so there were many rental car shops within walking distance from the hotel, making our stay comfortable. Additionally, the hotel staff and the restaurant staff inside the hotel were all wonderful and handled everything with lovely smiles. I'm glad to have spent my first trip to Ishigaki Island at Nest Hotel! I want to visit Ishigaki Island again!
They were very kind to me. The inside is also clean. The staff kindly taught me about recommended izakayas and beaches. The breakfast buffet had limited seating, so timing is important. I was very grateful that they lent out basic items like snorkeling gear and towels. If you have small children, they should be satisfied playing in the hotel pool. They lend out large water guns and floaties for playing in the pool. I received great care here.

“I recommend accommodations in Ishigaki.”
I made a reservation because it is near Maesato Beach. It's very accessible since you can take bus number 10 from the airport and get off at a very close stop! It's a bit far from the city, but most places in the city are izakayas, so I recommend Nest Hotel if you don't necessarily need to be in town. The rooms are a bit small, but that's typical for accommodations in Japan! The reasons I recommend it are: 1. The staff are extremely friendly. 2. The cleanliness is very good. The only downside is the loud noise after flushing the toilet, but other than that, it's fine. 3. The pool is very spacious. 4. They also rent bikes at the hotel. 5. Most of the necessary amenities are provided. 6. The indoor clothes are changed daily. 7. It's excellent for the price. However, I thought Maesato Beach was right in front, but it's not. You have to pass by the Ana InterContinental, and the beach isn't that pretty. Still, if I go to Ishigaki again, I would choose Nest Hotel again because it's quieter than the city! Even though we had a hard time communicating using a translation app for the yakiniku reservation and taxi booking, the staff were very kind and helped us without any hassle. Thanks to them, I made great memories :)
