Was looking for a simple room that a nice, clean, and simple room that would let me sleep comfortably at the end of a long day. After the renovations mentioned in my reviews, I can definitely say that my room was nice, clean, and modern, with all the amenities I would want. The bed is reasonable, the furniture is all clean and new, and the bathrooms are very nice with warm water. Due to the new laws in effect, they conveniently have many disposables available in the lobby for only $10NTD. The location was also fantastic, as it is right next to the exit of the bike path for Sankeng station and also only a few blocks away from Miaokou Night Market.
We arrived from Yehliu about 5pm. As there are no parking, we went to the nearby public parking lot. We booked the 3 double beds room because we wanted the space. Room is clean and the shower was strong. 2 blocks to walk to the night market.
The hotel is old but under renovation. So if you plan to book some where near do request for rooms on the 9th or 8th floor as they are all renovated. The ones below are still old. The room that we stayed on the 9th floor was exceptionallly clean and comfortable. But i must say that the double bed was a little small compared to ours in Malaysia. Do bring your own toiletries as hotels in Taiwan do not provide them complimentary. The train Station is just behind the hotel about 5minutes walk. 15minutes walk to Keelung port and Miaokou night market. Family mart is just around the corner. Plenty of eateries nearby.
Service: The receptionist staff is attentive to guests and can communicate in English reasonably well. They make an effort to assist with sightseeing information by providing free brochures for tourist attractions. There is a willingness to communicate. Location: If you want peace and quiet, the hotel's location is far from the city, which is good, but public transportation may not be convenient for getting to the MRT. Breakfast: It was indicated that breakfast would be provided when booking, but upon checking in, there was no breakfast room available. Instead, we were given a coupon for 7-Eleven worth 100 TWD/person/day (for two people staying three nights, we received six 100 TWD coupons for 7-Eleven). If you request daily cleaning from housekeeping, it is recommended to keep valuables with you and securely zip up your luggage. I encountered a problem where one 7-Eleven coupon that I forgot on the bed went missing. After leaving the room for sightseeing and returning in the evening, I could not find the coupon. Bathroom: Very good, clean with new tiles, strong soft water from the shower, and a partition separating wet and dry zones. Room safety: The door has a digital door lock. I can't recall if there was a small safe in the room for keeping valuables, as I don't usually use one.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable—perfect for a good night's rest. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which made for a refreshing experience. There was some construction going on, but it only lasted until the afternoon and didn’t disturb my rest at night. The location is quite convenient—just a few minutes' walk to the train station and close to a night market, which was great for grabbing food and exploring the local area.
