“Very relaxing place and helpful staff”

I recently stayed a couple of nights and loved staying here. The staff were very helpful, even drove me to the local shop when it was raining and helped me sort out some travel passes. The accommodation was great, bed very comfortable, and great free refreshments in the evening. The food was also great both breakfast and dinner. It's only a short walk down the hill to the nearest bus stop and not much further to walk to a 7-11 if weather permits. Recommend for any traveler or someone looking for a relaxing place to stay.

“A little worn-out on the way but great service and food”

Takes several hundred meters to climb before getting there, so carrying huge luggages might be a burden. Acceptable for us bc it turns out not as hard as it seems. Kozuka-iriguchi station would be the closest to the hotel. No public onzen—u simply own it during the time whenever u want to take a shower, for the only onzen (comes from the source) there is comes along with the only public shower room that houses however many guests who are ur fellow companions. Breakfast is delicate and would be ready for u on the 1st floor dining room at the time u choose during check-in. Beautiful Mountain View! I’d really love to come again. Think the stay is more preferable for the single or two visitors, though.

      “Not as expected ”

Due to an error wi tbh Agoda, we arrived and were given the wrong room, the staff didn’t understand the issue and we felt pressure to stay because staff told us we would be too late for the dinner we had booked and paid for (I didn’t receive any information about dining times prior to arrival). There is only one option for food and it is not vegetarian friendly. The staff were able to cook fish for us but I would avoid booking if you have dietary requirements. Finally, the onsen was not as pictured. The images show the men’s onsen, the ladies is a small pool with no garden view.

      “Agoda is the worst.”

Accommodation costs that exceed 100,000 yen are listed as discounted to around 20,000 yen ⇒ it is hard to believe it originally exceeded 100,000 yen. Furthermore, the mention of "only 1 slot left" lures reservations ⇒ on the day of our stay, we were the only guests. It was stated that meals were included ⇒ but it turned out to be a room-only plan. The listings on the reservation site are full of lies.
