We had the pleasure of staying at La Siesta Classic Ma May from 5th to 7th September, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Located in the heart of District 1, right alongside the vibrant Beer Street, the hotel offers the perfect blend of energy and elegance. A special shoutout to Miss Dung Nguyen, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She graciously offered us a complimentary upgrade to the Club Duplex Suite, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. They staff at La siesta classic ma may was exceptional. They were helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We had a late flight and they offered to have us shower in an empty room before we left for the airport. One thing guests should know, during Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights the streets in old quarter shut down to cats for the night market. You may not want to arrive during the evening hours those days of the week or you will have to carry your luggage several blocks. (We did not arrive that time but thought it would be difficult for others). Also they rooftop bar was used for private events at least 3 of the 5 days we were there which was disappointing as I looked forward to having a drink up there and was never able to do so. There is no pool although pictures of the hotel show a pool. The room was gorgeous and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

We stayed at La Siesta Ma May Hotel for three nights, and from the moment we stepped out of our Grab, we were greeted with genuine hospitality. The staff immediately helped us with our luggage and welcomed us with refreshing drinks, fresh fruit, and cool towels. That warm reception set the tone for the rest of our stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the lobby felt like a calm, elegant retreat with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to assist with booking tours, arranging transportation, or simply offering thoughtful recommendations on what to do and see in Hanoi. They truly know their guests and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our room was clean and beautifully designed, with Spanish colonial touches that gave it a unique charm. The hallways were spotless and quiet, making the hotel feel like a peaceful hideaway despite being in the heart of the bustling Old Quarter. The food was superb—fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable. The location is perfect, with the city’s best spots for street food, coffee, shopping, and sightseeing just steps away. Hoan Kiem Lake is also only a short walk away, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The rooftop bar was a highlight, offering a cozy ambiance and stunning views of the city at night. It’s a wonderful spot to relax after a full day of exploring. On our last night, because our flights were at dawn, the hotel even prepared food boxes for us to take to the airport. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail really stood out. Most of all, it’s the staff that make La Siesta Ma May truly special. They are warm, professional, and consistently helpful, making us feel like genuinely valued guests. I absolutely loved our stay and would return without hesitation.
