Great value for money”
We traveled as a group and booked 4 rooms for 4 nights. We arrived at noon but couldn't check in yet, so we left our bags and went out. When we came back in the evening, the hotel upgraded all 4 rooms to much larger ones, from 25 sqm to 45 sqm. The breakfast was delicious with iced coffee or cocoa available, and we could order all included. The hotel also offered a 20% discount on food. If we had a trip to see the sunrise, the hotel provided simple box meals for us. Some staff could speak Thai, and a tuk-tuk was always waiting in front of the hotel, making it easy to go to Pub Street. It was really worth it!

Since I’m not from the area it’s hard to know which hotels are actually great. I’m just so happy that I got to stay with our group of 5 people here at Hari because they made our experience amazingly easy and comfortable. First off, the staff - they’re quite amazing, always smiling and always willing to help. The reception: you were picked up from airport by their staff with your name on the card! And then on arrival to hotel you got delicious treats and a cold refreshing drink. We got to put 4 rooms and the Air Conditioning was extremely cool and absolutely worth it. You’ll definitely need the air! Location: it is very very close to the tourist dining area Pub Street, less than 10 minutes, 7 mins from the market, and there are always TukTuks for very cheap $3 outside of hotel ready to take you anywhere. Breakfast: you get free breakfast at this hotel and it is soo delicious! You get an array of pastries, local fruits, eggs made to order such as omelets or eggs Benedict, and even get noodle soups. If you do any day trips leaving early, the staff will get you boxed breakfasts early so you can take them on the go! How thoughtful, right?! They also do provide transport back to airport for super affordable price too. Pool/rooftop views and seating - pretty awesome to see the amazing views of the city. Rooms: they’re very comfortable, with robes and safes in each. Large rooms have tubs of space and you get free drinking water daily. Currency exchange: hotel can break your large dollar bills if need be since dollar is the preferred local currency. Super convenient! Management: Sans Peter is actually the manager who’s soo helpful in answering any questions I had. He’s the number that you contact directly through WhatsApp when booking. It was soo great to have someone soo helpful and who responded within minutes to questions regarding airport timing, etc. For the pricing, this place was certainly worth it and you actually could have gotten more benefits

Drab Industrial Design but Comfortable”
I used to stay in this hotel's predecessor - Thunborey Hotel - until the owner decided to rebuild the hotel to form Hari Residence & Spa. The facade is pretty outstanding although like many such hotels in Cambodia the function doesn't follow the form. Rooms have drab grey concrete floors which are too cold to step on once the aircon is on. Aircon is strong and quiet, while beds are soft and comfortable though the sloping leg ends end up tripping us up often on the first night. The toilet design in our room wasn't very clever with the doorway screened off from the room with curtain - which didn't keep the heat in or the cold out. An open shower area caused the floor to be wet although the bathtub is a nice deep one. Toiletries are decent but I just didn't like the scent of the shower gel. In keeping with a new sustainability theme sweeping through the tourism industry in Cambodia, drinking water is issued I refillable glass bottles but they're unsealed. We didn't dare to touch the water, as we didn't know how long the water had sat in those bottles. Indeed, for the 3 nights we were there, the water didn't seemed to get changed. Breakfast is served at the roof level and the area is sheltered but open air. The climate in Dec was outstanding for an open air dining area but would hardly be suitable during the extremely warm and humid weather in Jun. Food selection was excellent at the buffet with an eggs and noodles live station. The coffee was quite excellent. The pool was half a level above the breakfast area and is lesson in dangerous design. Having the pool clad in black tiles and with the main pool equally deep throughout (over 2 m deep) is quite silly. There attached children pool simply had an underwater partition which did nothing to prevent any child from accidentally spilling into the very deep pool. Not safe in my opinion. This hotel is just awesome!! All the recipients and hotel staffs were very welcoming and they provided everything we needed. The hotel room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was super delicious (especially the noodles tasted awesome), and the rooftop is just amazing. I think the price is very reasonable as well. It’s located near Siem Reap downtown, so the Pub Street, Old Market, Riverside, etc. are at walkable distance; no extra transportation was needed except for the temple tours and the airport. It has been a pleasant and comfortable stay, so thanks to the hotel staffs :) 굉장히 만족스러운 호텔이었습니다. 호텔 직원 분들도 굉장히 친절하셔서 필요한 거 요청할 때마다 잘 응해주셨고, 방도 굉장히 넓고 좋았어요. 조식 뷔페도 굉장히 맛있었고 특히 국수 정말 맛있었어요 ㅎㅎ 루프탑도 뷰가 예쁘고 잘 꾸며져 있어요. 가성비도 굉장히 좋다고 생각해요. 씨엠립 중심부에 있어서 펍 스트리트, 올드마켓, 강변 등등 접근성도 우수해서, 투어나 공항 갈 때 빼면 항상 걸어다녀도 충분했어요. 묵으면서 편하고 행복했습니다 :)
